food is horrible. i have a stomach flu after having the dinner. choice of food for breakfast is too limited.

It was a great experience. Especially, the room, the swimming pool area and the breakfast were amazing. We also enjoyed the possibility the hotel provided to bring us to the areas near the hotel, like wild wadi waterpark.

As soon as we walked into our room we decided to book an additional night. Unfortunately, at the reception they offered a price far higher than we noticed we could book via booking.com, so we booked online. We feel that it would be more friendly if same price could have been offered at the reception, especially in such high-end hotel.

It is a unique hotel in its category. You cannot compare it with anything else. We stayed there for one night to experience the possibility of being in one of the most expensive hotels in the world.

For anyone reading this and sitting on the fence about whether or not a hotel can really be worth such a price point, let me detail a few things below that really sets the Burj Al Arab apart, from literally every other hotel in the world. Every single room is a suite that's spread over 2 floors. The rooms are luxurious to the point it seems almost impossible to believe, the furniture is pristine, the views are unparalleled and the attention to detail is honestly 2 starts ahead of everything else we've experienced. We had originally booked the Panoramic Suite to celebrate our anniversary and Josh at reception took great delight in informing us that we'd been upgraded to the Club Suite. Now the upgrade was incredible but the happiness was clear to see on Josh's face, he really wanted this for us because like every other member of staff at the Burj Al Arab, he just wanted us to have the most memorable stay possible. I honestly could not do this room justice, it was bigger than our apartment. It had 3 living areas, a kitchen, a games room (including ping pong table!) and the most spectacular view of Dubai. It was spotlessly clean and the winding staircase just looked and felt so special. Regardless of which room you stay in, every single detail about this hotel is beyond belief. It's difficult to describe just how happy and incredibly fortunate you feel to be walking around it. My Wife and I spent 20 minutes just enjoying the fountains in the reception. Breakfast was delicious and again the views of the marina have to be seen to believed. The waiting staff are confident, personable and so genuine in their commitment to excellence. Room was so spacious, fantastic panoramic view, amenities were great, everything was luxurious.

24hour butler service wasn’t always available.

Amazing people working at the hotel (e.g. Daniel who welcomed us, Ruben who brought the luggage,...). Everyone was super friendly and helpful... best hotel experience ever. they really make every wish come true and spoiled us with many little things (e.g. everytime we left the room and came back, some new "sweets" or similar were waiting). Also the pool site was great with the sunbed and the friendly staff organizing the table for lunch.

Only the food experience in signature restaurant Al Mahara may be a bit overrated (e.g. good, but some dishes not really up to expectations...) dont know why it has 2 stars as we have been dining in many 2 star restaurants before. however... the venue next to the aquarium is amazing and itself worth a visit. so better to try it and see for yourself as we may have expected too much due to previous experiences in other restaurants of such quality.

Service and staff are the truly remarkable professionals. Extremely dedicated, innovative and disciplined from the top management to the housekeeper. impressive achievement.

After 20 years of the operation, the prooerty maintenance and up-keeping are perfect unlike most hotels in Europa and Singapore.

Market was near by.

The staff at reception treated us very badly as we were commoners. They took a double debit and refused to refund me the difference.
