The location of the hotel was perfect, as was proximity to the main coach and rail station opposite and about one minute walk. The lobby was bright and inviting, and the reception staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was on the 8th floor and very quiet apart from some noise at the back of the hotel about 6.00 to 7.00 in the morning but this was easily rectified by shutting the windows. We never ate here, so I can't comment, but we did have a nightcap at the bar last thing and felt well relaxed. The famous pub The Crown was just around the corner as there were lots of quality restaurants. The hotel was very busy with parties of customers from overseas but this did not cause any problems (noise, queues etc). All in all, a perfect place to stay, we thoroughly recommend it if you want easy access to the centre of Belfast.

Only one small point and it's not really a dislike : the lighting around the bar and seating area could be toned down a bit in the evenings, to enhance a more relaxed mood.

Central location, good access to everything. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was exceptional with excellent choice and plentiful. Bedroom was good, bed reasonably comfy (I’ve had better though).

Bed could have been comfier but ok. The pillows however were awful. Hard and lumpy and apparently the same in the other room we booked so must be a hotel wide issue. Kept waking up every night due to having to move them around and plump them to try and get comfortable. Holiday Inn get better pillows There was also a slight whiff of drains (sewer smell) in bar area on one evening and in room on another occasion. Not sure if related specifically to hotel though as smelt at times whilst walking around Belfast centre.

Location of hotel was very convenient to city centre. The bus station across the street has an indoor mall with a few excellent cafes with very reasonable prices. The ability to have a late check out was very helpful.Usually a late check out is noon but we were offered a 2pm checkout time.We have never experienced that before in any other hotel we stayed at. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. When we had a mix up with type of room provided, problem was corrected immediately and complimentary drinks were offered as a courtesy.

Very poor soundproofing between rooms. We were able to clearly hear other guests in next room.

Excellent location a few minutes walk from central Belfast. Bright and airy with seating area in reception, bar area and separate dining/breakfast area. Quirky decor, art and photos added character to this modern hotel. There were always staff available at reception and they were well trained, helpful and friendly. A wide choice of continental and cooked breakfasts and selection of evening meals. Two lifts, comfortable room, gym on site.

We stayed for 6 nights and there was not sufficient storage in the room. No drawers, just small cubby holes as bedside tables. 4 hangers in wardrobe. Staff were helpful in quickly supplying more hangers and removing the ironing board in the wardrobe to create more space.

The staff was very kind, the breakfast was amazing with lot of healthy options including gluten free and the location were the most important and highlight thing of this hotel. With no doubt we'd back and we highly suggest this accommodation.

The parking lot is across the street, so traveling with small children and many things is not practical or comfortable enough, plus we had a typical windy and rainy weather. The sofa in the room was not comfortable enough and the air conditioning in the hotel, corridors and common areas was very cold, we are in summer but outside was sometimes more pleasant temperature.

Very comfortable stay. All what we needed was provided 😊 Train station on the opposite of building, plenty of food places nearby but I do recommend the restaurant inside the hotel. Beds were very comfortable, cleaning service available.

We got a premium room but had to ask for a missing set of bathrobe and slippers. Not a big issue 🙂 We got it all in no time. Shame that they're all universal so probably it doesn't fit most men. The bathroom handle was making me a little worried if it's going to fall apart soon 😬 And that funny stain in the bedroom 😅

We arrived at 10 am and was offered breakfast as we wouldn’t have it on last morning of stay due to leaving for the airport at 4 am.Food was fresh an hot and staff great. The manager came up a few mins in and said our room was ready for us which was unexpected as it was only nearing 11am.It was much appreciated.

Not a complaint, however a glass of wine at the bar was £8.00 for a 175 ml,which seems a tad on the pricey side considering the hotel isn’t a high end restaurant or hotel.I took to buying a bottle a tesco to have in the room. And as you do so much walking between 8 an 12 miles a day,we were ready to fall into bed with a glass of wine.

This was our first trip to Belfast and were delighted with our 1 night stay at The Holiday Inn Belfast. Staff: were exceptionally friendly, helpful and available during our stay and we felt very welcome and valued. Anna served us in the restaurant and Lilly and Jack looked after us at reception. Food: We had evening dinner and breakfast at the hotel. The dinner menu was good value, the food was lovely and children eat free which was a great saver. we also got a free 'treat' card for the kids and they could choose from a selection of treats at the cafe bar. This was a lovely touch. Breakfast was full of choice and catered for everyone's tastes, the food was delicious and plenty available. The fresh orange juice was particularly good. Room: Our room was sufficient for our needs, not overly big - there are no views as such around the hotel due to its location. We had our 2 daughters age 10 and 15 with us and the sofa bed was ready for them next to our bed which was fine and as we requested. With a busy day out we didn't spend much time in the room. both the room, bathroom and shower were spotless. Parking: there is no parking available at the hotel property but across the road there is a multi-storey car park which served the hotel at a discounted rate available at the hotel reception. Area: Across the road from the hotel is Great Victoria Street station which leads out on to Great Victoria Street next to the Grand Opera House. Across that street and up a couple of blocks is Belfast city Hall and all the high street shopping stores, restaurants, coffee shops, bars etc. A beautiful city with lots to see and do. Wish we had more time there but we will definitely be back again.

Only a small observation, the hotel lobby 'lounging' area was very bright in the evening. The not so 'soft' seating in the lobby wasn't comfy and there didn't seem to be a lounge area that was inviting enough to stay and have a relaxing evening drink.

Excellent hotel. I was travelling for work and needed somewhere quiet with good wifi. The room was comfortable and quiet and the wifi worked very well and was easy to get onto. Staff were lovely and the hotel was very clean. The bathroom products were great - all non-allergic and high-quality. Breakfast was very nice but always very busy. Hotel food was very good and reasonable. I particularly liked the "take out" option which was very handy to be able to work and eat in the evening - also just nice to not have to go to the restaurant after a long day.

Nothing really. The hotel was very nice and staff were lovely. The breakfast was very busy even early (7.30 am) which I think was due to tours but that's fine.

The room was big & the bed was very comfortable. Air con had been left on very low so was a bit chilly but soon warmed up. Breakfast was fantastic - lots of variety & hot food was hot. Bar & restaurant staff were friendly.

Bathroom door handle fell off which we fed back on check out as didn't cause any issues, just needed fixing back. Drinks at the bar were very expensive - no soft drinks on draught so over £2 for a small bottle of tonic/lemonade to go in wine which I thought was extortionate. City centre hotel but view was of a derelict carpark and rubbish - not ideal for £180 a night!
