A wonderful welcome and a very comfortable room. A comfortable bed and decent shower. The rooms are clean and there are lots of little extras. Free parking is included and the location is excellent. The restaurant is fantastic and the food is delicious! Highly recommended! Similarly, the breakfast is great. It's a bargain stay and perfect for an overnight stay for work.

The room needs some attention. The wallpaper is coming off and the flush of the toilet starts a cocophany of plumbing sounds. The floor is creaky when you walk on it and I wouldn't have liked to be a guest in a room on the lower floor. I think it must be very noisy when people are literally just walking across the room.

The room was spacious & appealing. The bathroom facilities were adequate for purpose - it is a slightly older building. The staff were friendly and really helpful, and although you can't book a parking for your car, there appears to be adequate parking for guests. The restaurant in the evening served beautiful Asian cuisine and there was a lovely breakfast available for guests should you wish to eat before going out. We had a comfortable family room which did not feel crowded with a double bed and a normal single in the same room. The room is perfectly comfortable & cheerful.

The curtains could be kept on the rings - there were a few gaps & the carpet is due for a clean. Neither of these things would stop me from booking here again.

We unexpectedly had to book for an extra night and the staff were very helpful in getting us all booked in. We were a large group of 15 so they did a great job. Nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were very clean if a little small and we were able to upgrade and moderate breakfast to what everyone wanted. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

We did have free parking but the car park was a little cramped and some of the rooms were small and we had to hump our luggage up several flights of stairs.

Was the hotel a little dated? Yes Were some of amenities not functioning as they should? Yes. However, I had a comfortable stay and the staff made me feel welcome. When I consider the price I paid I in relation to what I received, I am very happy.

Some of the amenities weren’t working. No hot water in the bathroom sink, the lock on the door didn’t work and the water pressure in the shower meant it took about 5 good minutes to wash shampoo out of my hair. Room 110.

All the staff I encountered were very friendly and helpful. The best staff I’ve come across in years. Great amenities- fan, heater, coffee, tea, biscuits and water supplied in room. Shower wash, shampoo, cap and soap in bathroom. Lovely size of room. Didn’t get to have breakfast but it smelt wonderful. Carpark was included in cost and a good size.

If I want to be picky there was some dust and no lift- but didn’t affect my families stay in the slightest.

room was a double for single occupancy, a bonus. room was quiet although being at the top of stairs, could hear people coming and going, not a problem though. liked the heater in the room to use. tea coffee etc was well laid out with water. the curtains were so thick it felt a very comfortable room and the bed and sheets were great, clean and crisp. pillows were good too.

only i had a little trouble with regulating the hot water in the shower with the controls but otherwise it was lovely and hot and plenty of pressure on the shower hose.

Bed was very comfy, en-suite useful and room had drink making facilities and TV. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of cereal choice, pastries and yogurt plus tinned fruit. Bacon cooked to perfection - nice and crispy as requested. thank you - I hope to return sometime soon.

I was at the top of the property so quite a few steps up....but never mind. Everything else was great. thank you

I've been in some great hotels around Coventry but this one will be hard to beat. A huge room with a high, pointed roof, wooden beams supporting and a huge 36-light chandelier that really looked the part. Beautiful, coordinated decor, huge mirrors, loads of plug-points for your electrical stuff, a big bath, instant hot water, a heated towel rack and an abundance of goodies from shampoo to shortcake buscuits. The room had three lighting profile options and was extremely well appointed with comfy chairs, genuine wooden desk, a large sofa. I could go on. With the exception of a rather old model TV, it was sheer perfection for less than £65.

I loved everything.

The friendly staff and nothing was too much trouble . The room was cleaned every day and towels changed and tea coffee etc topped up every day. Even bottled water supplied.

The shower was hard to adjust and very hot better than being cold. The lights had a will of their own and flickered a lot. Mentioned the lights when we left.

The location was excellent. Parking is good. The room is a nice size and a comfortable bed. Plenty of places to see and things to do. Complimentary water is a nice gesture and it was quiet even with the window open on a hot night.

Narrow stairs, fairly steep. The shower had very low pressure and water from the sink tap was virtually non-existent. TV needs channel update..
