Close to family for a wedding, right on interstate, beds were comfy, had a blow dryer. AC was cold.
Floors were dirty. Mashed bug remnants on walls, no extra blankets or pillows. No coffee creamer. Apparently all supplies were not delivered and would come after our 2 day stay. Lots of family members stayed there so was a full house for the wedding and not stocked up for our arrival. Desk clerk didn't seem all too thrilled about anything. No outlets near bathroom for hair dryer. Windows broke and glued together. I was told by locals that was recently bought and they are in the works of fixing it up. Unusable outdoor furniture, all covered in bird poop.

hello everyone, my wife and I stayed at this motel, on the way to the Grand Canyon, I just don’t have enough words to describe this place, I don’t understand why it has such a low rating,.... the sweetest hostess, clean room, large bathroom clean a pleasant place to take a break from the road, I want to say thank you for continuing to welcome travelers.

Breakfast was very basic.Lucky if assistance was provided. WiFi worked eventually. Good selection of channels on the TV. Old style retro feel to the whole place. Very reasonable price. Other places have added extras (all manners of taxes etc) to the listed price so take extra care when comparing places and total prices.
The breakfast ! Rudimentary at best and you would be lucky indeed to get assistance. Noisy air conditioner. The name ! Take care since you will NOT find it on the edge of any canyon. The Grand Canyon is at least 90 minutes away , even if you drive at full speed with no breaks.

The location was easy to find, quiet, VERY CLEAN, and overall extremely charming! Felt straight out of a instagram page! The service was very quick and friendly (thank you to the gentleman with shoulder length hair for helping us every step of check in when we rolled up at 10pm!!) The breakfast was light yet extremely satisfying! and the snack/buyable food options were endless! We want to bring our friends back here next year. thank you for creating such a lovely spot!
Bathroom ceiling had a few squished bugs on it, but besides that- everything else was superb!

63$ a night is a great value! The room is renovated, the bed is comfortable and the front desk lady was absolutely lovely. All you need for your stay during a road trip! There is coffee and some snacks available in the morning. Very authentic motel on the old route 66. Town is small but it felt very American countryside vibes and there is a small restaurant that serves all you need for your hungry stomach.
If you complain on a 63$ night then you better go find one of those plain motel chain where you will pay more for lousy basic facilities.

Late check-in is really appreciated (I arrived at 10:45pm). I very much appreciate (in fact it is the entire reason I was there) that I could park a horse trailer with a horse in it in the parking lot. I rescue horses several time/year. The horse rescue pick-up is in Ashfork along I-40. Canyon's Edge is an important rest stop both for the horses and myself. Also the *wonderful* coffee and smiling desk help the next morning put the final touch on a great trip.
There is nothing not to like.

A ramp up from the days of Ash Fork Inn.....flat screen TV offers numerous options. Fridge an microwave also included. Great feel to 60's ....nostalgia reveals itself in many ways.
The name change from Ash Fork Inn to Canyon's Edge is very misleading. Be prepared for a long trek to the nearest canyon...and allow at least 1.5 hours driving time, at max speeds. WiFi is very iffy and the breakfast is so basic.... more like a quick snack!

Excellent value for money. Great quality, especially for a motel. Our room was freshly renovated and very well decorated. The beds were comfortable and there was a huge tv with netflix access. The receptionnist was particularly friendly. Many snacks were offered for free at the reception including popcorn. The motel is located right next to the route 66 but we can’t hear disturbing car noises.
The AC system is probably quite old and is very noisy. The bathroom door can’t close. There is no ventilation in the bathroom.

The staff is super friendly and they try to help you as much as possible. We got a very nice room that has been renovated just a week before. I feel like the management tries a lot to make the rooms nice and comfortable. The room has been way nicer than on the pictures, so is the lobby.
We got a smokers room which smelled like cold smoke, that was not so nice. However we didn't ask for another one but I think if we did, we would have gotten a different one. I think they would do a lot to make you comfortable so if there is anything you don't like, just ask.

Yeah I needed a place to see out of the Grand canyon on the way back on the way to Vegas and that one town what was the kingsman no not Kingsman but the one closer to the Grand canyon those were all overpriced and then I finally found this place about 15 miles away on the way to Vegas so it was great price is right I had a great time at the people who ran the place everything also I liked how they gave you a choice about three free snacks and they had coffee in the morning and everything
Yeah it might have been there might have been some problem with the heater or something but or just for me being from Hawaii it was hard for me to get comfortable but not much I can say about what I didn't like for me I want one thing funny I can only get one radio broadcast and it was a Spanish station so now I like Spanish music LOL and the the TV was kind of weird it had it was hard to control it had some kind of well like a satellite where you can head to like you know I'm trying to put it in front of your inner codes and stuff anyways take care thanks for hooking me up
