The staff was very friendly, the downstairs is beautifully decorated. It is near downtown but in a quiet corner. Walk to downtown or to the university if you like walking (I do). Room had a balcony with access to fresh air (a big plus for me - I hate being sealed in with windows that don't open). A furniture plus was a divan with a little table where you could use a computer or read sitting up with legs outstretched. Breakfast had hot food, eggs and toast. The coffee at breakfast was good, and the breakfast room was super cute with a patio view. Plenty of lights, reading lights, outlets, and work spaces. Very clean.

The upstairs didn't match the stylish lobby. The hall smelled stuffy. The room had that depressing carpet where you can see stains that many hotels have. The breakfast was over an hour late, but I get that there are staffing problems nowadays. I felt like they had redone the lobby but not the rooms. The lobby promises boutique hotel, the rooms are more ordinary.

Nice clean room, very comfortable. Easy to find location and parking. Staff very friendly and helpful and breakfast was a huge plus for us.

the bathroom barn door and shower glass doors are not very good at all. Barn door offers no privacy, if you're too quick it bounces back open or close. The shower door design is very poor, we got all wet trying to control the water temperature because the shower was pointed toward the entrance of the shower and the mixer is far on the other end.

Great location! The staff was wonderful and made us feel welcome even before we arrived. They were also quite accomodating once we arrived. The complimentary, full breakfast was also a very nice amenity.

The hotel seemed to have some work going on. Post Covid, it seemed to not be staffed as fully as it used to be. The lication is also a little tricky to find. It is by a lot for uhaul, and gps leads you to the hotel through a gate that was always locked during our stay.

Location was good within walking distance to downtown and restaurants. Breakfast was great also. Nice view over the pool every morning and overall comfortable room.

We were given a room adapted for the disabled without being told ahead of time. One of the lights in the room was almost going out (flickering) and they wouldn't change it. However we got 10% off each night because of it so that was a nice gesture from the staff.

Very clean, staff very helpful, great breakfast. I'm glad I Stayed there and would again. The room had a microwave, fridge, coffe maker. They also have ice water and coffee available in the lobby. They are renovating, but that didn't affect my stay.

Ice machine on 1st floor only. Also the restaurant is not open, so plan on eating away from the hotel, except breakfast which is free. Other than that, I was very pleased with my stay

The BEST about this property are great location, very good breakfast and value for money. All that made up for a little outdated interior design and thin walls. Walkable distance (as an European) from downtown restaurants and the 4th street. If the weather would have been better I for sure would have enjoyed the big pool outside. Looked very nice :)

Thin walls and outdated interior.

I can tell management cares about their staff. Every single hotel staff person I interacted with was pleasant and helpful. I especially liked the breakfast server, and the front desk personnel that helped me - I forget their names! I would stay here again.

The laundry facilities didn't work. The pool (although nice), patio, and patio furniture have seen better days. The shower seemed kind of dangerous - no bar to help getting out of a slippery shower onto a slippery floor. I used Door Dash for food because the restaurant was closed for lunch and dinner. All these things are pretty minor - overall I was very pleased with my hotel stay and would stay here again.

To be honest, we didn't know what to expect. I'd read some fair/bad reviews, but overall, the hotel was rather nice, if modest and a bit tired. They're clearly renovating, and some of the hotel is closed, but our room was overlooking the pool on the 4th floor, with a lovely balcony with an orange tree below which was wonderful for bird watching and the amazing scent of orange blossoms. The room was clean, although a bit musty (I think there'd been a leaky roof at some point.) Breakfast was far more than we expected (especially since we didn't realize it was included.) It wasn't anything fancy, but there was hot food (eggs, sausage or bacon, toast/bagels/english muffins), plus fruit, yogurt, oatmeal, juice, coffee, tea. Certainly good enough to start the day satisfied, and the breakfast host/server was always pleasant.

The towels were thin, and there was no place to eat at the hotel after breakfast. I ran into this problem when I was sort of stuck there without a car, and had no lunch. The hot tub was empty, and the grounds were a bit closed off in places. And no fault of the hotel, but there is road work being done that made it nearly impossible to GET to the hotel...they should put an alternate route on their website or send information to guests in advance.

The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The free breakfast was an added plus.

We were in Tucson for a Sat night U of A football game and the hotel was farther from stadium than expected. No restaurants or grocery stores nearby. The location of the hotel is maybe about a mile away from the nearest venue. It is quiet so that’s a plus if you want to be away from the downtown noise, but you will have to drive and find a place to park if you want to visit downtown Tucson.

Very beautiful and ornate. Not generic at all! Palm trees galore, Orange tree blossoms perfume the air. Lots of Calla Lillies which I am partial too. The heated pool is stunning. The room was very big, very clean. shower drain backed up, some of walls need TLC in some spots but they are a business potentially struggling like many have trouble finding staff. The room has beautiful fixtures, 2 tvs, 2 AC units, AMAZING view. I brought a bunch of usb wall adapters- didn’t need them, USB ports galore. I love that. Alyssa at the front desk was an absolute delight! she was so helpful and knowledgeable. Bed was so comfy and soft. Love this place ❤️
