There were several nice touches in the room. The shower was particularly good, with 2 shower heads. The outlet next to the bed was on the front of the bedside table where it was easily accessed. There were two screens across the window. One screen was a privacy screen and the other was to darken the room. There were two benches in the bathroom area on which you could place your suitcase. There were plenty of pillows of varying degrees of firmness on the bed. There was a comfortable easy chair in addition to the desk chair. i just really thought the room was well thought out.

There was no breakfast provided, although there were breakfast restaurants in the area. It may have been that there was no breakfast room built into the original structure.

I was 6 nights at this hotel as I completed shopping before heading back to Mexico. The rooms have been updated and my room with two beds was very comfortable. I've stayed at this hotel before and I will again when I visit Tucson.

The lady at the front desk looks very sad. No hello smile or energy. She was very helpful to get me checked in and a first floor room.

The continental breakfast options were surprisingly good! We originally booked for 1 night but ended up staying for 3 nights as we were touring the surrounding cities and towns within 2 hours drive. A GREAT value!

Room was basic and comfortable. Bed was nice and sheets and pillows comfortable. Staff were very nice

The floors are not very clean. It could be that the carpet is just hard to keep clean but it was quite dirty, to the point you have to wear shoes to not get socks dirty. Even the hard floor was a bit dirty. for almost $200/night the price-value ratio was moderate. This may have been related to the jacked-up prices during the gem show

Remodeled old building with character. Walking distance to downtown and 4th Ave shops.

Very crowded car park, but no problems. A bit noisy from people upstairs and people next door coming in very late. The woman at reception wasn’t very talkative and didn’t give us much advice about restaurants. There’s only one restaurant across the street for breakfast, otherwise you have to drive somewhere.

Exceeded our expectations. Super friendly owner. He stated to us “This hotel is my baby”. He takes a lot of pride in it and it shows. Clean, safe, quiet, reasonably priced and comfortable. What else can a guest ask for? If you’re staying in Tucson, this is the place. I know we’ll be back. Well done University Inn Tucson!

That we couldn’t stay another day!

looks are deceiving. it’s kind of like that hole in the wall restaurant where you are skeptical then u go in and it’s one of the best experiences you have had. this place is like that. the owner was beyond helpful. he takes so much care of his guests. there’s not enough words to describe his kindness. we travel a lot and this was by far the best service we have received. thank you so much!

Location is great. I like being able to park in front of my room. Friendly staff. Lots of surface area to spread out in living space as well as bathroom.

The bed was “eh”. There were a few things that could have been more attended to however was not a major problem. Minor details is all. My second stay there and will return.

We were in a center room on the ground floor. It was clean and convenient. The staff were friendly and told the manager about our phone not functioning The phone was replaced the next day.

It was further from our event than we anticipated. The freeway was within a mile so we were able to cut the time down to 35 minutes. There was a restaurant across the street that had just opened. It was for lunch and dinner since There were sandwiches only. These issues were resolved by driving to other restaurants which was okay.
