Hotel room is very clean the beds were made very nicely very homey even if you're not at home they create that home atmosphere and breakfast was also included in the pool was actually open very quiet minus a guy that runs around yelling I think he has schizophrenia but he's pretty harmless so don't worry about him FYI that's if you hear a guy yelling

It was just the guy that was walking through the property yelling at first he did scare me but then I realized that he was very harmless it's just him and the voices but he has but it was pretty common him walking throughout the week that I had been there but like I said he's harmless

Close to Sentinel Peak for hiking and photos. Close to downtown. Easy access to I10. I appreciate the attempt to keep an aging property looking updated. Decent breakfast - Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwiches and a variety of pastries, fruit, juice etc.

Loud people in the parking lot in the middle of the night and early morning. Probably has more to do with the area than the property itself, but still off-putting. Room smelled strongly of smoke when I entered. I did let the front desk staff know immediately so that I wouldn't lose my deposit.

The staff were very accommodating and willing to help, and when we seemed like a couple idiots they helped us a lot. Unfortunately, booking.com made some errors on their part, I made some errors on mine, but we got it worked out thanks to the great staff at red lion in.

Booking.com never stated you needed to be 21 to check in, which nearly left us stranded, but it's not the inns fault for this.

Breakfast was varied and nice. Spacious breakfast room. Great downtown location for my need. This motel is on the freeway frontage of I-10 which is very loud.. However, they gave me a room on the other side facing the (dry) Santa Cruz river and there was no freeway noise..

The room entry door lock was physically hard to open. I had to try 2 or more times and use a lot of force to open it. I am a reasonably muscular man so this should not have been this difficult.

I liked that it was easy to find & it was quiet.

When we got there we thought we had booked a hotel that was closed. The outside looked like it was being remodeled or something and we didn’t see any cars at first.

Functional hotel with a good bus connection to the centre (buses in Tucson are free) with a journey of about 5 stops. Good value for money but not the Ritz ... Perfectly happy with what I got for the price ...

It is near downtown and near a bus station.

They have laundry self-service on site but never have changed.

The rooms are big and clean, the Price is Right. I come here once or twice a week because I live with a friend and his wife and child kid. Red Lion is kind of my own sanctuary.

Still no breakfast , that's a bummer. Every restaurant in the city's open but can't get breakfast. Not even the little snack bags that a lot of other places give out. The staff hear at 222 South freeway is less than friendly most of the time. The over night staff is usually great. Sometimes I'll go to the office first thing in the morning and pay for another night and it's not something I look forward to because of attitudes. I'm a very cordial person. I don't think it's right to be in customer service and not smile and greet people with warmth

Nice Quite big rooms , great amenities staff were excellent, Great breakfast , Burger restaurant next door so did not have to travel to get a meal .

The room was great. They were out of room I requested so I got upgraded to a suite at no extra charge.

The grounds were under repair which made everything look ugly.
