Excellent location, service and value. Place was clean, perfect temperature, and we even had an ocean view something that wasn't expected. Also the staff was the some of the best staff I've ever had at a hotel, super friendly and helpful. As someone that's stayed many times in Carmel this was by far the best inn we've stayed at and will definitely stay here again as the location, value, cleanliness, and quietness is worth it.

Not much to not like. It was a great experience and better then many of the other inns in Carmel. It would be nice if there were some breakfast options at the hotel, but there are already many around the area so that was fine and we found an excellent one. It looked like there used to be a restaurant on the property that might've been closed from the pandemic, so maybe in the future they'll bring it back. But it wasn't much of an issue, and I would definitely stay here again.

The staff were very helpful and the location was incredible! There was plenty of room in our 2 bedroom suite for 5 of us. The beds were comfortable and the fireplace and balconies were great!

The bathrooms were not in great repair. The doorknob to one of our toilet rooms was broken and so the door wouldn’t latch. We think something leaked in the fridge cabinet overnight, because the rug in front of it was wet in the morning. To be fair, we did not bring the doorknob to the hotel’s attention to fix for us, and didn’t know about the rug until one of our kids mentioned it to us later.

Excellent location, spacious suite for all of us, private parking and while older rooms it was very clean and comfortable. Check in clerk was very friendly and helpful with suggesting places to eat. He even called me to let me know our room was ready early since we arrived earlier than the check in time.

After the 1st shower there was no hot water the rest of the trip in one bathroom. Hotel had no solution for this and kept saying nobody else had complained about it. Offered to come look at the shower but that wasn't going to do anything. Same situation when none of the outlets in the entire room would hold a cord plugged in except maybe 2 or 3. Luckily had 2 showers and other had hot water and made do with outlets we could Jimmy rig to work.

That it was close to things to walk too. Could see ocean from balcony. Room was good size. Garden outside was nice and pool looked nice and small

It was so outdated. Old stained rugs. I didn’t get room I booked. Chair was broken. Lot of rotted wood around property and is a safety issue. Elevator has 4 year old inspection notice. Has not been updated.

Property was quaint and clean and the location was perfect . Steps to all the shops and dining.

it is a little tired and could use a refresh. We didn’t have hot water for the 3 nights we were there . lukewarm at best and only for a couple mins before it was cold. Front desk was notified… on second day but didn’t get any results or call back.

This is a great location and it has very friendly and helpful staff. I love the comfortable beds, fireplaces, balconies, and the parking garage.

Prices in Carmel are high and this is no exception. You pay a premium for a pretty tired room. The carpet could use a deep cleaning, the bed skirt was stained, and I would really like ceramic mugs for the coffee and glasses available (as they used to be pre-pandemic) for wine and juices. I miss the breakfast baskets!

We stayed here last year and requested the same room, which the hotel was able to accommodate. The suite is incredibly spacious, clean, comfortable and quiet. The front desk employee was welcoming and helpful. We will return again.

Wish the rooms had a microwave. Also, AC would be helpful for the summer months.

Very conveniently situated in Carmel, lStaff prepared a map with all the information of restaurants in Carmel with suggestions. Parking is on the premises and very convenient. Room 27 is basically 2 rooms connected. Almost like having connecting rooms, but sold as one. This was very Good as we had children who could be tucked away!

The room was very tired and needs heavy refurbishing. I felt that it does not warrant the price of a known 4 star hotel. We were with kids and no bottled water In the room. Spent half an hour late at night looking for water. Maybe tap water could have been ok in Carmel, but no information and could not take the risk.

very centrally located and easily walkable to town and the beach; on site free underground parking, friendly staff who left me alone, which suited me. The elevator was convenient to my room. Fireplace, and balcony that provided a partial ocean view. big enough to sit out and enjoy the day.

My room’ TV had very poor reception; however the manager gave me a rebate to make up for the inconvenience. Lots of stairs. Noisy trucks early in the morning a couple of days of the stay.

Big, great rooms with a lot of space. It was not the most modern, but it didn’t matter, because it was clean and felt homely. The fireplace was also nice.

No breakfast was served on site(we knew that when we booked) But…the rooms should have some plates, knives and forks and a microwave. It is extremely expensive to eat out three meals a day, for 5 adults.
