The grounds itself is so quaint and beautiful, especially with the potted colorful flowers throughout the property. I also liked that the room was a decent size and it had a microwave and refrigerator and FIREPLACE, as well as a small table with two chairs. I was also impressed the shower was not plastic - the walls of the shower seemed to be huge marble slabs, which was a very nice touch.

I found a couple random hairs on one side of my pillow, but not a big deal. I also prefer more natural light, but again not a big deal.

Thea was very friendly and welcoming at Reception. The location was very pretty with lovely garden views in the morning. There is no restaurant at the location, but Thea helped us with a Door Dash order to the room with recommendations too. The room was lovely and cosy with a fire, tv and tea/coffee making facilities and a table to be able to eat our dinner.

Close to Asilmar Beach. Comfortable room and beds. Very nice front desk staff and helpful with information. There was no breakfast and we recommend including breakfast

As stated above re absence of breakfast. Noisy fireplace fan and wall heater. Didn't want to use either because of noise, especially fireplace.

The rooms are very clean, convenient, quiet, and have everything you need. We enjoy having the fireplace, microwave, and refrigerator. The bed was also very comfortable. And, what was very nice was that when we left for the afternoon, the room was sparkling clean upon our return! Very nice! Also, very pet friendly! Our little Corgi loves staying at the Deer Haven!!

The only thing that would make it better is a breakfast, but there are many nice places to eat nearby!

Close to the beach and quiet.

Nothing really not to like… I did notice in the room I was in that the toilet seem very close to the wall and you had to come in and shut the door before you could use the toilet, or the door was in the way.. just a weird configuration in the bathroom but otherwise very nice.

The location was perfect, the room was spacious and very clean, right across the street from a large park where you can walk the dogs in, super close to Asilomar beach yet secluded, in a very quiet area. Extra blankets and pillows, a lot of towels. The sheets were super clean.

The shower had very little water pressure, the beds were not very comfortable. The room was very cold, the heating was off and the window in the bathroom was open when we arrived on a mid-50s day. It took forever to warm the room up. I strongly suggest turning the heating on before the guests arrive.

The room was exceptionally clean and room. The location is next the the beach, amazing and close other great spots to explore town.

You can't expect great prices during peak season and the towels could be a bit better

Location to the beach and the very clean rooms. The woman checking us in was also very helpful and kind!

The no pets alone in the room part. Not advertised prior to our arrival. It was fine, but a bummer for one person in the family if we wanted to go to a nice dinner. Someone had to stay back.

location was excellent, close to Asilomar Conf Center and beach where we could let our dog run leash free. Room was quiet, other than some folks walking heavy upstairs. WIFI service was good for work. The beds and pillows are extremely comfortable; we typically stayed at the Hyatt for the bed quality, but this place was really good.

Hot water in shower was not hot enough to have an enjoyable shower.
