We had a lovely clean and recently renovated spacious room with a little kitchen. Wonderful location right near the beach and nature walks with stunning views. An excellent location for exploring the beauty of the Big Sur area plus Monterey restaurants and shops. This location of Pacific Grove is so lovely in atmosphere and beauty we want to retire here! Owners very nice and accommodating

Perhaps a few extra pots or pans or kitchen tools in kitchenette. We like cooking when traveling. That’s all! Everything was perfect.

We love cottages! This experience was beyond my expectations. The google reviews do not compare to the property.. possible went through renovations. Our room was delightful and felt like a little apartment. Very quaint and cozy. The ceiling fan was nice. The windows opened for fresh air. Bathroom fan/ventilation was pretty good.. the window opened as well which was nice. The property is waking distance to the beach which we didn’t do this time but have done in the past at a neighboring cottage. We have to say Sea Breeze is our new favorite! Great value for the money.

Maybe a pamphlet in the room on how to work the fire put would be great! We couldn’t figure it out but loved the area at night.

Bed was comfortable and the location was close to Butterfly Grove.

I had problems connecting to WiFi. The day we arrived I connected with no problem. That evening I could not connect but with TJ's diagnostic help and restarting the modem got connected. The next morning could not connect but that evening with the front desk help got connected. The next morning I could not connect again. Once we returned to my brother's house in Milpitas I have had no problem staying connected. Since I have no problem at my brother's house or mine in Canada I believe my laptop is not the problem. I appreciated the help I got from your staff in getting me temporarily connected.

While this is an older facility, it's been very well maintained and has received significant recent upgrades to bathroom fixtures, floor and wall tiles, commode. The bed, windows, and main flooring also appeared to be relatively new. Everything was exceptionally clean. Screened windows on the front and back (plus a multi-speed ceiling fan) allowed for great air flow. In-room Mr. Coffee and mini refrigerator. Large screen TV. Very strong free WiFi. Great location. Great value. This is your basic, minimum-frills motel done right!

The check-in person could have been more welcoming. Not a big deal, but the only less-than-positive aspect of our two-day stay.

The property was beautiful, located close to the shore, a short drive or long walk. The rooms are great with a fireplace stove, oven, fridge, nice little dining table and tv. The beds were very comfortable.

The ONLY reason that I did not give everything a 100% was due to the unfortunate fact that we received one of the rooms that has a second floor above us. We could hear every step, movement of furniture, and voices. It seemed to be amplified through the floor. In fact it was loud enough that when the person above us got up at 2 or 3 in the morning and bumped something causing it to fall, both my sister and I were jolted out of a dead sleep. There needs to be some type of sound proofing done, or at least a warning about the noise.

Staff at office very nice and helpful. The room was very comfortable and clean. Plenty of room for two people with the two queen beds inside. Microwave was nice to have in the room. Laminate flooring, no carpet. Enjoyed the fire pit outside on one of the nights we stayed there. Good location for going to the golf tournament at Pebble Beach also close by Pacific Grove golf course. Lucy's coffee shop and ice cream facility is right around the corner from the hotel. We enjoyed our stay.

Nothing really to say here. All seemed good. Maybe incorporate offering lyft or uber service for your guests? Although most guests have it on their phones, I for one do. But I stayed in Arizona one time and the hotel did the calling and organized the ride for us. Worked great as we did not know the area well. We only needed to tip the driver. I think it would be helpful for guests who do not have this app setup to use. Hotel is some 20 to 30 minutes away from dining, this could be useful. This is only a suggestion.

the property was great. we loved our Bungalow and will request the same one or one like it if available. with all the windows in our unit it really added the light and view of the property. it was so centrally located and this brought us back from our last stay.

one suggestion would be to have a head board rather than a mirror. most people on vacation spend some time on the bed sitting up . leaning your head on a mirror is uncomfortable and a wee bit dangerous. and a minor thing if you have a kitchenette there should be a toaster. most used item when travelling. bagels toast…. otherwise all great. everything was great loved the room otherwise.

It's a cozy motel that is maintained and has a fire pit available for the guests to gather around. It's nice to have such a casual place outside of the room.

Housekeeping is not daily unless requested, which seems to somewhat common post-pandemic; however, I think that it undermines their value proposition. I'd suggest that at least daily towel service be standard without having to make special requests.

The room was clean and tidy, the location is pretty close to everything especially 17 mile drive. The area is quiet and peaceful.

I thought it was quite expensive for what it is, but then again Monterey is expensive on the whole.

Staff was very friendly and welcoming. I believe it was room 119 I stayed in with my family, which was pet friendly. We stayed for a week. It was a downstairs room, hidden in the corner and really valued the privacy. Parking wasnt an issue. The little kitchen area was perfect for cooking. Some items in the room, like the kitchen chairs, were out dated, and carpets could use a replacement. You could see, though, some items were brand new, like the kitchen counters, which were really nice. There is a unit above and you can hear walking around from time to time. You can hear the other guest next door, but we were not too bothered and just turned the TV higher. There is no other unit on the other side of you. If you are planning to stay for about a week or more, and want to bring your own food to cook, I would recommend an ice chest for extra storage. The location of the Inn was perfect. There was acttractions around, resturants and stores down the road, and close to the beach. I am planning to book again in future

Not a big problem but a friendly notice would have been cool, due to there was installation next door and drilling into the walls one of the days. It was bothersome if you wanted to sleep in, and it was also for my animals. Also neighbors locked their dog in the bathroom it seemed like and you could hear the dog barking and scratching at the door on one of the nights.
