Clean, quiet and comfortable! I enjoyed the sliding door and sliding screen access to small covered patio. I liked the walk in shower, which I thought an upgrade over the typical tub/shower/curtain set up. I typically do not use provided amenities, but they were all there.

I had a bit of a fight to secure sliding door/screen. I was not ever completely convinced it was secured. I sensed the mechanism had been used/abused and appeared worn. I arrived at 3 pm (check in time), but had to wait about 30 minutes until the room was ready (not a major inconvenience).

As a frequent traveler worldwide, rarely am I positively surprised by accommodation. You never get more than what you pay for and usually there is something that could be better. This was perfect. Clean and quiet and with lovely grounds. Didn't feel at all like we were in the middle of strip mall road near the freeway. Didn't use the pool or jacuzzi but it certainly is an added bonus for those who want it. I was happy to have a room where I wasn't afraid to go barefoot. Super clean. Thank you well done

As we stayed nine days, then moved to a larger room for last night. My previous review encompasses more of our stay and observations. This is a fantastic place to stay in Santa Rosa and it’s a mid century gem. The garden and heated pool, etc. I want to fall in the staff is excellent. The free breakfast available for booking.com is well worth it don’t miss out. Within two minutes you’re on the freeway on the way to the ocean and you’re close to everything. I lived in Santa Rosa for over a decade, so I was happy to see friends as well as go to Bodega Bay, Jenner, the Sonoma County fair, which was awesome and so so much more. August really is a spectacular month for Santa Rosa with so much going on! We were very fortunate to get such a good rate with an excellent top quality breakfast included. Do not miss out on that option if you book.

I cover that my other review, but they should replace the laminate flooring with either higher quality, laminate flooring, or even a strong rental hotel carpet. . This is a wonderful hotel and my criticism is minimal.

The garden area was beautiful and the hot tub was the best I’ve ever been in - it had the most amazing powerful jets and it was not too hot. From the front desk staff, to the cleaning crew, to the grounds crew, they were all extremely nice, friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. Our room was big and clean and there was a partial wall blocking off the sink area which was perfect for privacy for my teenage kids and me.

There was nothing we didn’t like.

The staff was very polite and considerate. They allowed my friend to check-in early without me. Also, the property is surrounded by little gardens and having their own cafe which makes your morning perfect. I would highly appreciate it if they provide water bottles every day and not just on the first day (a very small thing but highly appreciable) In summary, the overall stay was comfortable and smooth. I loved my stay there :)

My sister and I had to travel to Santa Rosa a month ago for the death of our brother and the staff was very helpful in our last minute, late in the evening service for a room. We had to return for the one night for other matters concerning our brother and the staff again was very kind and welcoming on short notice. The facilities and rooms are so very clean and comfortable. We were exhausted and were able to take a nice shower and plop into bed for a good night's sleep. Excellent coffee choice in our room!!!!!

Absolutely nothing!

I was very surprised with Best Western plus Garden. It was charming and comfortable. The garden portion was beautiful. I spotted native California Blackberries and the fountain was charming. I did not use the pool or hot tub but they are there and looked pleasant as well. This in is also very affordable.

I know the hotel has nothing to do with it but there were tons of homeless and ghetto people everywhere. That is a problem with Santa Rosa. There is a massive disparity in California altogether and Santa Rosa is no exception. I have lived here for a long time. On the up side the homeless did not bother me at all. I am angry at the city and state, not them.

My husband was upset that I booked a BW but kept an open mind. We were amazed at the beautiful grounds, the clean very spacious rooms and the very pet friendly atmosphere. The pool was so warm and had an alternative more natural filtering system which was a pleasant surprise. The spa had powerful jets that gave me the feeling of a massage. I just didn't want to leave. BTW we travel a lot! Over 100 days in the last few years. We stay at all levels of hotels and bed & breakfast places. This little gem beat many top starred places in my opinion. It was quaint and clean. It was also convenient as we were doing business near by. Thank you Best Western Garden Inn for a great night.

The toilet seat was loose and the coffee maker didn't work, in fact made a mess but no one is perfect

The Best Western Garden was very easy to get to off the highway. Very friendly staff. The room was very clean and looked out to the pool and beautiful garden with fountain. The breakfast was a " breakfast in a bag " containing breakfast sandwiches and burritos with fruit, muffin, and granola... very quiet hotel..... well worth the money...

Parking is very tight...our first night here, we had to park 4 rooms down from our room.....

Easy to access, parking spaces are a good size. The garden/pool area is so beautiful. The restaurant is conveniently located. It is super quiet! Everything worked in the room. Bed is comfortable as are the pillows. Super clean! The staff are so nice, from the clerks to the restaurant grab and go staff, to housekeeping. I was 5 minutes early to pick up my grab n go breakfast the morning I had to leave, but the staffer was wonderful and didn’t mine a bit, though I felt bad I had to have him unlock the door for me. Toiletries are a good brand. Water is nice and hot.

My tub did not have a plug, and I don’t like showers. I like baths. Please be sure to put a plug in the tub! 😊
