Pool, staff, location, comfort..

The fact that you have to give 24 hours notice to get your room cleaned in the morning and new towels if needed. So, no coffee either for the next day. You have a small sign on the counter at the reception. Staff need to tell people this prior to arrival and you need to put it in Big bold letters on your reservations confirmations So people can see it and know that they need to call you ahead to get the room clean the day after you wake up from your stay. Ridiculous, especially a well-known chain of hotels. Even motels still do it. How do you charge more for less??

Location is perfect, within 10 minute pleasant , easy stroll to the river boat tours and river walk, an 18 minute stroll to Navy Pier and the Bean at Millennial Park! A Whole Foods is just one block away, a Bockwinkels right next door. We self parked a few doors down the street for half the price of the hotel parking. Hotel parking includes in out but our self park did not have in our but we never needed our car since we were there two days to see highlights of Magnificent Mile. Staff recommended using Spothero app to find that cheaper parking garage and also literally pointed out a few down the street - staff very friendly and always helpful!

The location is excellent, with a variety of great restaurants to sample. Easy walking distance to many major attractions and landmarks was definitely a highlight. The room was very clean and they had pool access on the 5th floor, though I never used it. There was also a store next door in case you wanted to buy your own food or drinks. Also, as a side note, the best hospital in Chicago is only 2 blocks away.

Be prepared to budget for $62 a night for parking if you drive there, and some mystery service fees (in my case $124 on top of my existing reservation) when you check out. Between those things I paid 50% more than the actual listed booking fee.

Loved the views, location and the restaurant was really good!

There is no coffee save a Starbucks in the lobby with limited hours, most hotels offer coffee, this one does not. Also, you have to walk to get snacks or food when their limited item shop that is attached to Starbucks is closed. The walls are REALLY thin and we could hear our neighbors' conversations even though they weren't being loud and had to ask them to whisper after midnight because it was keeping us awake.

Very Convenient location to attractions. Spacious hotel room and comfortable bed. Rooftop pool was open and functioning. Pool table and other activities in the outdoor space. Nice lobby. Text message check out option was so convenient. Text message option to the concierge was helpful

My bed sheets were dirty, but were changed that evening. Pool area closing at 10pm Pool towels were not stocked

We obviously loved the location! We pretty much walked every where, seems like everything was 10 to 25 min walk away: Michigan Ave and Trump Tower, the River Cruise, the 350 at John Hancock, and Navy Pier. Room was fine, nothing extravagant but clean and all we needed. The staff was really great and helped with everything we asked.

One of the beds was a bit off, my wife said it was kind of rolling/ slanting off the bed. Otherwise all was great.

The staff definitely made the stay memorable, especially Sarah Jane, it's been two weeks now and I can still remember her by name. The bar/lobby area was really nice after spending a full day in the city. The location puts this location over the top!! It's perfectly positioned, walking distance from everything! I enjoyed my stay and this'll be my hotel of choice whenever I visit Chicago!!

There was no microwave in the room, but there's one in the main lobby which is inconvenient but it works, the prices in the lobby market are absurd, I get the need for mark ups but $14.99 for a spritzer and $5 water!!! What is this ? A theme park?? I think they shoot themselves in the foot because you can spend the same money at Whole Foods and actually get more bang for your buck. Other than that our stay was great! We'll be back whenever where in the city we just won't be spending money in the lobby area, lol.

Amazing location. 3 mins walk to Ohio Street beach and the lakeside route, 10 mins walk to 'Downtown'. The Streeterville neighbourhood is very safe and very laidback. It was a treat having an outdoor pool in such a big city, although the weather was amazing and we swam in the lake and lazed on the beaches.

Great location, within walking distance of many touristy things such as Navy Pier, millennial park. Tons of restaurants to walk to and a whole foods market across the street for last minute needs. The rooms are large. It’s a pet friendly hotel, we were able to stay with them in the same room. Views of the city are nice, the rooms are quiet too which I appreciated especially in the heart of the city. Front desk staff are friendly and welcoming. The bar is accessible from the lobby. The outdoor lounge/pool area is a nice place to relax in the evenings.

Parking sucks, especially with no access to an elevator from the parking deck. If you park up above level A, you have to carry all your stuff down either the stairs or down the parking garage. It’s 59 dollars for 24 hours, not bad considering city prices. The elevators are slow, thankfully hotel wasn’t too full when we were there but I can see it being overly crowded at times. Not the cleanest hotel I’ve stayed in. Bathroom had a few hairs strewn all over and the fan wasn’t working so ventilation was zero.

Great location - we were able to walk to all of the sites we wanted to visit. The hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The room itself was nice if not exceptional.

It would have been nice to have a microwave in our room and a slightly larger television. Also, the cost of parking seemed extremely high given we were only in the lot for one night.
