Location. Friendly staff. Bandol. Loved the bathroom. Would stay again despite the things I didn’t like.

The fridge in my room did not work and had a weird smell like potential mold. I didn’t know the fridge was inoperable until I came back to the room with leftovers 🙃 The bed was not as comfy as I would’ve liked. Quite firm, so my back didn’t feel the best. Not terrible, but not what I’m looking for when I go on vacation. I want a fluffy bed you sink into. The price was not the best for my 2 night stay. I unknowingly booked by trip during Lalapalooza weekend, which I’m sure contributed to the price.

The bed was comfortablt.

I looked at my credit card statement and was charged an addition $292.53 from the restaurant, which I never eat at, and called the front office about it and was told that I dined-n-dashed by the front desk. She did not let me speak at all and before I got her name, she sent me to the restaurant, which did not answer, and I left a voice mail. I stayed on 8/12 and talked to the rep last night 9/1 at 8:06. An investigation should be made about this woman that I talked to at 8:06 pm on 9/1. I have a claim in with your hotel and my credit card about these charges. I am apalled that this woman is accusing us of this and of these charges.

The location was perfect. It was only a block or two from the Blue Line that picks you up from O'hare & right to Monroe. The El train is only a few blocks away which takes you everywhere you need to go in the city. Michigan Ave & Millennium Park is about 6 blocks away. Rocco the front desk associate was absolutely fantastic & very accommodating. The rooftop bar is relaxing & beautiful. The Bandol restaurant located right inside the hotel is marvelous. I will definitely be staying there on my next trip.

Location was great - coming from the airport on the blue line to Monroe ( the nearest station to the hotel ) you can see the hotel when you exit the station. Monroe station has the red and blue metro lines close by. Great, safe location and walking distance to Millennium Park, Willis Tower and main shopping areas. Great location. Staff very friendly and provided my request of a room on a high floor. Great modern room. Fridge to store you’re own snacks/drinks, coffee machine, large comfortable bed. Great bathroom with excellent shower and all amenities. Was such a lovely room to return to after a day out exploring. would definitely stay here again.

No negatives

- professional and courteous front desk staff - the location - large room with an unusual layout and six windows, giving plenty of light - complimentary coffee, tea, fruits in The Corner all day long - complimentary coffee, tea, bottled water in room (+ fridge) - nice new toiletries every day - the beds were comfortable

- we had to ask for a change of sheets four times before it was done (this was a 10-day stay) - the floor was not swept and the table and window sills were not wiped - the headboard was worn out and stained

Excellent location, in the heart of the Loop, very nearby to red and blue subway stations, as well as many bus lines. The room itself was spacious and clean, with everyday housekeeping service. Staff was nice, easy to check in and check out plus any other special request. Stable and strong WiFi.

The door sound isolation was not very strong (walls OK, just the door). When noise coming from the hall we could easily hear it, but there wasn't a lot of noise so can't complain.

I loved the hotel. The room was very clean, the bed super comfortable. I was so happy I didn't hear any noise or the constant noise of people in or out. The ladies at the front desk were very friendly and nice. I would definitely recommend the hotel.

I was looking forward the roof top bar but was very disappointed with the service. The server just drop the menu and never came back. We had to go and order at the bar, then she was rude because we went to order at the bar. The views are great from the roof top, but just that detail made me not want try this place again.

The location is great! The atmosphere of the facility was amazing. The cleanliness of the hotel was great, as soon as you walk in your room you are welcomed with a fresh cucumber aroma.

The ONLY thing I did not “like” about the property was the King high floor option that was supposed to have a city view but did not. I booked two rooms, one standard king and one king room on the high floor. I prefer the standard room because it was honestly bigger, or felt bigger. There was much more room to place my belongings and walk around. The toilet was also separated from the shower, where the high floor king room was right next to the shower.

The actual Room was fine - very comfortable bed, pillows, bedding. The location is central, one can walk to many great Restaurants such as THE GAGE or VENTEUX. ATM's are close by as well as Pharmacy across the corner. One is able to walk (longer) to MORTON'S and the city center.

The cold, limited "breakfast" offering is SUB-PAR - please consider offering a simple, quality Continental breakfast to elevate your profile. We walked to JW MARRIOTT around the corner and got superb hot breakfast for $15.00. The AIRE ROOFTOP bar is a great location with potential... needs to be managed and actually offer foodservice.

1. Disliked having to go to the 3rd floor for hot drinks. Would have preferred to have had more coffee pods and milk pods in our room. 2. Having to pay for the room on departure was a surprise as I thought it was paid for in Nov when I booked this. Tomorrow I will check my online banking to make sure I have not paid twice and will be in touch if I have. The receptionist professionally explained Booking. Com's policy which takes the money on checking out but I was surprised.
