We adored the setting on the side of Lake Michigan, the decor was lovely.

When I booked this property I booked 3 nights including breakfast. It wasn’t explained to us that we were only allowed to spend $50 between 3 on breakfast! an omelet was $18 so breakfast for 3 on our first morning came to over $117! Coffee, Tea and juices were also charged for so that’s how it mounted up. If you’re booking to include breakfast it should include breakfast! There also wasn’t any robes even though advertised as having them and we had to ask for a coffee machine in our room then daily for coffee to go in it.

Good location close to Golden Mile and Navy Pier. Staff at reception were friendly and helpful. Gorgeous lobby with free WiFi.

Some things missing from room that I would have expected - coffe machine/tea making facilities and fridge. House keeping didn't cover room every day of our stay. No free WiFi in room.

The staff at the hotel was very friendly, helping us during the stay. location was in a perfect location. Also when we needed a wheelchair for my daughter they lent it to us without problem.

Despite arriving at 6 pm, the room was not ready and we were surprised by the deposit that they wanted to collect (700 US dolars) and that they corrected after reading the specifications. (200). It is assumed that not using it will de return it to me. I will inform you if it is.

Loved the location and the incredible view of the Pier and the lake. The lobby is fabulous. The room’s aesthetic was wonderful. Friendly staff, as well!

So the toilet took forever to gain its water backup so you have to wait a while between flushes. The sink I had was almost too flat- tho I get the aesthetic, but the water took forever to go down the drain, at times stuck on the corners. Maybe it was just my sink. I wish each room had at least a fridge or a microwave. Travelers for vacation often times bring back leftovers whether for a midnight snack or for someone waiting in the room and what not. So that would’ve been nice.

The location was key for our trip. We were visiting both the city and family. Once we parked our rental car we barely used it as everything was very walkable for us NYC folk.

Unfortunately parking in Chicago is super expensive and very difficult. So be prepared to pay more for parking then you did for renting a car. To park at the hotel was upwards of $70 per night with in and out privileges. There is absolutely no street parking and any near by garages do not offer in and out privileges. Our room was a lakeside room. Beautiful view and cleanliness was great. However our room had no mini fridge to hold simple beverages etc. One had to be requested. Another family members room did have a fridge but bathroom was not stocked with basic soaps/ toiletries. For the higher end price things fell a bit short. The price is all about location.

everything except communication with valet.

valet poor service and communication. Was told be hotel front desk and valet that parking during stay would be $79.00. Come to find out after check out that its $79.00 a night. A supervisor from the hotel stated to me over the phone that the valet ticket given to us said it was written on them it was per night but it doesn’t not. It doesn’t even include price on actual ticket. The valet who initially parked our vehicle wrote the price on the ticket with his pen in a corner saying $79.00. This added and extra $240.00 to my receipt.

the location was great! food for breakfast and throughout the day were great as well. staff at current in the morning and bartenders later all extremely friendly and inviting.

Was not told about location of pool or any information upon check-in- it was later then so we ended up finding a staff member and asking the next day so obviously east fix. we prepaid for breakfast and that was never communicated how it worked or where it was or what we did. could just be an easy proactive conversation. the bathrooms have a very thin door that slides over … and no vent… so no privacy when you need to use the bathroom. toiletries were fine but already opened. pillows went flat very quickly.

The hotel was beautiful and up to date. Very clean and close to the lake and Navy Pier. I chose this hotel because it was close to a lot of great attractions that were in walking distance. Also the bar was nice and the food there was really good.

The staff was not that friendly. While checking in I asked about my points since I’m a rewards member. The staff member didn’t seem to want to help with my question so she told me to call the operator once I was in the room. The operator was short with me and rude. While leaving, I had questions about my bill and another member of the staff was once again was snappy and acted like it was an inconvenience to answer my billing questions. The staff needs customer service training.

I LOVED the room. It was on the 28th floor and had a beautiful view of Lake Michigan and Navy Pier ( your have to book a room with a lake view to get this).Lighting in the room was great both in and out of the bathroom. Very spacious, modern and clean, They gave me all of the accommodations i was looking for and were able to bring a fridge and microwave to my room per my request. Worth the money spent for sure. Will be going back and will probably ask for the same room when i do!

Not much of anything to dislike except the insanely high prices on the food for room service.

Wonderful hotel. Chouldnt ask for a better location. My wife and I could walk to all the main spots downtown and a quick uber ride to neighborhoods. We stay on the city view side and it was beautiful view of downtown. The bar and lobby were a happening. Drinks, and food were expensive but was isn't in Chicago. Price wise was great, if your staying off season, I can't say in the summer. We would stay again for sure.

The only gripe we had was the TV was kinda funny, and I wouldnt use the parking garage there. It is super pricey. We found cheaper garages nearby.
