Loved the location of this quaint inn. It was very clean and well maintained. The room was nice and updated. It was near restaurants, lakes, and sleeping bear dunes. Over all great stay.

Only issues were the bed was a little hard for my liking and pillows were too thick for my preference. There was an odd running water noise that sounded like it was near our window that woke me up each night of our stay, which was a little annoying. Not sure if it was runout water from the ac or what it was, but it was loud enough to wake me and have me dreaming about pipes bursting and flooding our room lol.

The hotel was very clean and comfortable. We were in the area to visit friends and it was three blocks from their house - great location.

I had requested ground level accommodations because my husband has braces on his legs and uses a cane or walker. We were upstairs with no elevator since all room entrances are from the outside. We never saw any employees so I could not fairly rate them. It was a little high priced, but we would stay in it again.

Location in the quaint town of Empire was lovely. Quiet and clean. Can leave the windows open and enjoy the cool evening, but also a quiet AC in each room. A quick walk to Empire Beach, ice cream, and tasty small town eateries. A close drive to the more bustling Glen Arbor. Dunes also a short drive.

A little pricey for a family of 5 with no suite or roll away option. Had to get 2 rooms, but not a deal breaker.

Location, location, location!! 5-10 mins close to everything we wanted to see in the area - Sleeping Bear Dunes and Glenn Haven Beach. Walking distance to local food places.The room was very clean and the hotel was charming and had what we needed for our stay. It was a little pricey for the accommodations but worth every penny for how easy it was to go and enjoy the amazing attractions in the area.

Location, Location. location! We were right at the entrance to the National Park!

The only thing was that the bottom of the door in our room REALLY made a loud noise when it was opened & closed as it dragged on the floor! So much so, that if we were just hanging in the room/ outside we left it open. There would be no way that someone could get in w/o waking a sleeping room partner! I'm sure that they fixed that by now though...

The owners were friendly and helpful. Their recommendation for a good restaurant was absolutely perfect for our needs and their driving directions were excellent. Our room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast consisted of a good variety of foods in a very pleasant setting. The next time we're in western Michigan we'll definitely stay at this motel again.

Nice, updated and very clean! Great location. It’s just a half mile walk to the beach and even shorter distance to cafes and restaurants.

There weren’t a lot of amenities at the hotel itself. I wish there was more outdoor areas to sit and relax other than the few tables they had right next to the parking lot.

This inn had no amenities like a pool or breakfast. We received more coffee. The desk personnel was very friendly. Inn was clean and a good value for the price.

There was no courtyard as advertised on the website - the courtyard consisted of 2 small metal tables and 4 chairs placed in the parking lot on the handicapped spaces.

We arrived late but had called to arrange for keys to be left. The lady was very pleasant. The room was nicely decorated and clean. Some small finishing touches were missing... baseboard along bathroom floor to hide edges of floor etc, but otherwise, beautiful room.

There isn't much in the town/area. For the price, a continental breakfast would have been nice. Checkout was me basically walking to the office and before I could get to the door, a man approaching me for the key. No thank you. No how was everything. Did not appear appreciative of the business.

immaculate inside and out. clean and new! comfortable bed and pillows lots of vanity counter-space and spacious bathroom centrally located 100% managed by owners.

nothing not to like that should effect a stay other than to say keep expectations in line with the nature of the location and property/price-point. no body lotion thin walls
