We liked being on water with walk out & close to parking. Large room with both microwave & refrigerator . Easy with out small fur baby.

Too much poop out in grass by lake. I think it needs painting, little updating & fix things like screen sliding door or wall in bathroom.

The shower in our room was extremely small. Not enough room for the two of us, barely enough room for one of us comfortably. We were there for 3 nights. There was no housekeeping service at all. A restaurant on the property would be really nice. (We usually stay at Breakers Resort for our anniversary but they were sold out this year. Thankfully, we called to see if we had to stay there to dine in and listen to the live entertainment and it was open to the public.)

We stayed for a week and loved it! I had read some bad reviews; however, we thought everything was great. The rooms were large with fairly large refrigerators, the beds were comfortable, the staff was very polite and courteous, the views of the lake were beautiful, there was free shuttle service around the area, a wonderful beach area with kayaks, volleyball, corn hole, and a great indoor pool. Breakfast was free with lots of choices (waffles, bagels, cereal, yogurt, muffins, juices etc.) We spent a few days on Mackinaw island island and the ferry service was only a few min. away. There was also a laundry service close by and wonderful restaurants with awesome food!

Could use some updated carpeting some new doors, but everything was clean and the rooms were serviced every day.

Looks like the hotel has little age on it ,but room was very clean. Our room window faced the stairwell, which blocked our view of the water, except for when the door was open.

The view from our room was perfect just what I wanted waterside with a balcony. The staff was Extremely friendly and helpful. Due to a family emergency we needed to leave earlier than anticipated. The front desk clerk was very courteous and checking us out.

I was a bit disappointed with the breakfast. All carbs. Other than apples there was no fruit. There was no option for any kind of warm food other than a microwavable sausage sandwich thing. Was a bit surprised that for the cost of the room we found that some of the molding along the floor was loose and kept falling down, the handle for the adjustment on the shower temperatures was broken. Could use the shower but it was difficult to set the temp. Other than that the facility is older so sound Of children running around from the room above us could be heard well into the night.

The location was amazing. I knew it was right on the lake but I did not realize we would have an amazing view of Mackanic Island! While we did not personally use it, we were told that a shuttle runs from the hotel to the ferry launch site. The continental breakfast was super convenient, clean, and we'll stocked. Perfect for my crazy family! We also got to use the pool and hot tub, again clean and we'll stocked with towels. The pool itself is in a building that is all windows to allow natural light which offered nice views, however, if you are there on an overcast or rainy day it can get a lit dark in there.

Very good location, to close to the store, ice cream, souvenirs and to boat. Nice view, especially in the morning and in the night 🌙 ☀️. Fire place, small sand beach. Dog friendly! Breakfast included.

Room with view for the floors ,dirty window's, old stylish hotel but under contractors. Goose excrement on the grass, cobwebs on the outside chair's.

No elevator. Family suites on 2nd floor. I had my 14yr old dog with me. He was unable to go up stairs. So had to get a extra room on ground level. Staff was very helpful with my dog. Helped me get him to room and made sure he had a bowl of water while booking another room for me. Even refunded our adult tickets for ferry when we bought different ferry tickets for the kids.

Location was great, near the main tourist area (about a 4 min drive) but not in it were it's busy or loud. Room was big and everything was clean. Breakfast that was included was good, had plenty of options for a quick breakfast. Was a great choice for a pet friendly hotel!

Bathroom was a bit small.

The location and the size of the room for the price paid was excellent. The staff was professional but personable. The room was spotless. 4 pillows. The AC kept the room really cool. A pool and hot tub on a beach.

The power strip/alarm clock didn't work. The room lacked power outlets in convenient locations. The WiFi was really slow and not secured. It was faster and safer to use my cellphone as a hotspot. Breakfast was mostly sugar covered carbs. 8 year old me would have loved it.
