Beautiful hotel, beautiful room. Everything is clean and well organised. Complementary Dove products in the big, clean and comfortable restroom with window. The room comes with a coffee machine, tv, ironing things, hairdryer, fridge AND USB connection near the bed. Moreover, it takes only 15-20 minutes to Manhattan (there are at least 8 subway lines around the corner). Within walking distance there are also plenty of shops, restaurants, bars and everything you might need.

The only thing they could do better is the towel policy. The towels are too small, you will be only given one medium size towel for the shower and a Barbie-size one for hands and face.

The beds were comfortable and we did not hear any noise from adjacent rooms, so I feel like the sound insulation was good. The menu in the restaurant was pretty extensive for a hotel restaurant.

There were not many places in the room or bathroom to hang things outside of the closet in the corner of the room. It would have been nice to have at least one other spot in the room to hang a hanger or towel. The A/C was never "just right" at 71 degrees the room would get cold and at 72 the room started to feel hot.

Really comfy bed, friendly and helpful staff and great restaurant with huge menu Was really pleased with our stay! Definitely worth the money. We had a room on the 9thfloor and had fantastic views of brooklyn and statue of liberty in distance. Room clean and body wash, shampoo, conditioner and safe all provided

More towels would have been great- but provided on request! Very quiet- apart from the rumble of the trains every now and then- nothing the hotel staff can do about! Much better staying here than manhattan - we had family staying in manhattan who didn't sleep at all. Worth the short commute to the sights.

I enjoyed the restaurant that was located downstairs along with the general location of the hotel. This hotel is located near the Hoyt station which made it easier to travel. There was also a great working ice machine located in the hallway near the elevator which was a life saver for this summer trip. As for the room, the space was neat and spacious while providing a beautiful view of the city and its boroughs. For this being my first time traveling to the state/city and staying in a hotel alone as a woman, I did feel super safe here which makes me want to return in the future.

Make sure to bring your own hand soap as the hotel offers a bar of dove soap. You’ll also want to save any plastic bags you receive from stores so you can reuse them as trash bags. The walls are also on the thinner side so you might be able to hear the TV of other guests if it’s on.

The restaurant downstairs was perfect, good food, decent prices and so convenient. The business lobby was a great place to relax before/after checkout. Very cute decor also. I felt safe at this hotel which is important. They hold your luggage if needed after checkout and they give you tags to assure no one takes the wrong bags which I loved. Microwave and fridge in room.

There is only one elevator for a 14 floor hotel so with that being said.. it took forever to get on and off of it. Also the elevator was extremely hot. The ice machine on our floor was broken which was inconvenient.

Big ( for New York City) comfy, room. Good A/C and bathroom facilities. Close to (5-minute walk) to ,at least, 4 major subway lines….perhaps only 10 minutes away from downtown Manhattan.

Somewhat disappointed regarding Housekeeping. My room was only made-up three times during my 10 night stay. There does appear to be a legitimate worker shortage in this area, I guess….so, I never really complained.

I did not get the breakfast option as I was in town for a funeral. However, I did get a view with a view of the Verrazano Bridge. This was spectacular. The room was clean. The bed and pillows were amazing. I had a wonderful night's sleep. I could literally see Ellis island and the statue if liberty!! I could have used a couple more towels, but we made it work for one night. My check in was smooth and the valet parking was on point. The staff was accommodating and friendly. I did not want to leave. When I travel I've always gone with the Holiday inn. Decent prices and I know what expect. They made a very sad personal experience much easier.

close to multiply metro stations which is what we wanted. The Grand Canyon Bar attached to the hotel was great for drinks and good. rooms were serviced daily, elevator wasn’t as bad as I had read in other comments. rooms were clean and tidy

two of the lights in our room were out, but in saying this we didn’t let them know to fix. towels were hit and miss some days we didn’t get face cloth and some days didn’t get bath mat. one of the mattress in the room probably needs an upgrade. Rooms aren’t noise reduced so you can hear conversations of others in the passage way.

This property was so clean, which is something I want to give big props on. From entry to the establishment, all the way to room cleanliness, I was so satisfied. The location was amazing, we were close to everything and felt so safe. The hotel is not only a 15 minute walk from Barclays, but is also only a 5 minute walk from my favorite NYC restaurant, Juniors!!

I do wish there was a vending ms hone on our floor, we had decided we wanted to get some snacks and ultimately didn’t get any since there were no vending machines on our floor. This could really make the hotel experience a 10/10 next time!

my room key deactivated almost every day i was here. such a hassle. i would go to my room , key not working go down to front desk to reactivate. go upstairs to use. repeat this everyday and it gets really annoying.
