Electronic keypad allowed us to arrive stress free late at night and not have to worry about a late check in with reception. They were very accomodating in allowing me to push my stay to one day later than originally booked. The staff was very nice. They also checked in with me by text message if there is anything else I need during the second day of my stay. Beds were very comfortable. An additional blanket was available, but we didnt need it as there was enough warm covers on the bed, in layers so it was easily adjusted. Room and beds were clean Fridge and microwave available in the room.

Rooms are pretty basic and older, had a very slightly musty smell.

Fantastic little old-school motel with super friendly staff, in a great location and with a really clean and well-maintained room. I appreciated the cute quilts on the beds, the closet space, the inclusion of a coffee pot, fridge, and microwave! I was a little skeptical because the prices were so reasonable and the hotel looked a bit old from the photos, but it was honestly just super nice. They really take care maintaining the place and it shows! I would recommend it and definitely stay here again! Bonus that it's an easy walk into Lake Placid Main Street, too.

Great value. Helpful and friendly staff Location is very convenient to Main Street (without the jump in cost!) Parking is easy -- not true of many hotels in Lake Placid Mini-fridge and (working) microwave -- again, not available in all hotels in LP Firepit, bar-b-cue and picnic tables available for guests -- again, not available at all hotels in LP I will book at the Maple Leaf Inn for Rugby weekend next year

It's an older facility -- which you cannot change. Stairs creak when you walk up. Who cares?

Bedroom and beds were very comfortable and clean. Rooms were good size. Staff was friendly. Wifi was good. Location was within walking distance of Lake Placid

Kitchenette appliances were a little out dated. Only local tv stations seemed to be available

Great Inn not far from main street but not walking distance. The room is big with 2 Q beds. Microwave, mini fridge It was nice and warm in the room though it was cold and rainy outside. Very friendly, helpful staff We liked the location not at city center.. close to stores, restaurants, hiking trails

Facilities were clean and comfortable with everything you need. The host was very helpful. The place is not modern which gives it character and we really liked it. Location is excellent - near restaurants , shops and the Lake.

Location was excellent, in a quiet area, just a short walk from downtown Lake Placid. The room was spacious, clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The manager was very nice, polite, smiling, making you feel welcome from the start. We would gladly stay here again.

COVID was effected many facilities in the area, as staffing shortages and "Help Wanted" signs were numerous. The manager was pretty much responsible for everything from check-ins, check-outs, room cleaning...the whole shebang. As a result, the pool area needed a good going over, but there just isn't the help available to get to it and get more necessary day-to-day things taken care of. We felt sorry for the manager, but admired him for his energy and tenaciousness.

Staff was awesome. Location was ideal. I had to leave a day and a half early and was refunded a full day- even after booking said no refunds, so that was awesome.

Allergic to fabric softeners- had allergic reaction to towels and linens.

Great location, our room had a kitchenette which was great for our stay for the Ironman race. Clean, very comfortable beds, and nice staff.

Needs updating

10 min from the restaurant and shop's, was really easy to find. Was really clean, including the bath, that was a little hard to figure out but was the best thing of the day. The room is big :)
