Super nice area. Quiet. Right near some stores so that’s convenient

The wifi was down and the TVs were broken. When calling to just inform staff of the issues, the receptionist was slightly rude and the hotel wasn’t willing to fix either problem or give a discount rate due to false advertisement of amenities on the property. Also i booked this property with the “pay on arrival” and they charged my card prior to me arriving at my stay. I was there for just a night but hopefully to those that stay longer, get a better attitude from staff. Also the price was kinda outrageous.

Accommodation is of a high standard with virtually everything you need for a stay in Lake Placid. High standard of cleanliness throughout and a well equipped kitchen if you want to cook yourself. Visit was to experience the fall colours, which were exceptional in 2022. Trip was made first two weeks October.

I was overcharged by the property on departure despite twice visiting the main hotel to resolve the final payment. This has been resolved but should not have happened in the first place. Something to watch if you are staying in the Residences.

Location great; minimal traffic noise. Loved the clean rustic decor. Cold A/C, 2 very nice TVs, and loved the fire pit by the stream (and that firewood was supplied).

Recently had a hip replacement and didn't realize I had to climb a flight of stairs :( Was charged a $80.00 cleaning fee for 3 days. This was an automatic charge added to my bill . I questioned about it and staff told me it was for them to clean my unit after we departed (for the next incoming guests;)- it did not cover daily housekeeping (that was extra!!) First time ever I paid a cleaning charge when I left (And my unit was left almost spotless and staff member said it didn't matter).

Up to date, clean and comfortable space with lots of extras we didn't expect (fire pit by the water!). Full size kitchen and fridge great for families or those dealing with food allergies or really anyone - eating out in Lake Placid is pricey!

Only issue was the wifi was unreliable. When my husband needed to do some work he had to go into town to get online.

Everything. Even absence of internet in the room made us survive (lol) and learn that sometimes some things can be put away for some time and we enjoyed the stay without it, communicated more and bond.

Internet didn’t reach to our room so we had to come out to connect and sit outside while having internet

Perfect location, very well equipped, clean and cozy. Absolutely love this place, second time staying here.

One suggestion would be to have separate recycling bins. We had so many recycling items and I felt bad to put in the trash can.

The Residence was very clean and a lot bigger than I expected. There was a full kitchen, large bathroom and a really nice sized bedroom. It was basically a small apartment. There was a grilling area for all guests to share. It was quiet all day. I really liked the fact that it was only a short distance from the main road in Lake Placid.

I didn't like having to go to another hotel to pick up the key.

Nice place, perfect for the two of us.it was out of the down town traffic, the roads were closed, due to construction. You had to use detour routes, to move around un town. Next time we'll bring our own groceries,and take advantage of the kitchenette for a much longer stay.

The shower it was nice and big,just the water spread in to the rest of the bathroom. Other then that perfect.

Great location and space for what we needed. Kitchen could use a pair of scissors.

Didn’t see much of housekeeping. One day they did come, but didn’t knock first. Just used their key to enter and I was inside. I feel they should knock first.

Excellent location. Apartment was very clean. Fire pit area was nice.

Beds in 2nd bedroom are very small and extremely uncomfortable. Not meant for anyone over 5' 6", my husband's legs dangled well over the end of the bed.
