The king bed standard room was great! Large tv, comfortable bed, extra seating space and the bathroom was a great size with a beautiful shower and mirror. I requested extra pillows on the notes of booking.com and they did leave extra ones for us! The location was also a couple minutes to the highway and we wanted to stay closer to Short North. The amenities, especially the gym was another reason we decided to book our stay here. Multiple squat racks, cable machine and dumbbells to 75lbs (which is unheard of for a hotel gym) were a great addition as we like to work out while still away from home. We didn’t utilize the pool but it was a decent size. Indoor and expected the water to be warmer, but it was more like an outdoor pool temp. Overall a great stay, and I think Hyatt might become my preferred hotel chain over IHG and Marriott.

great location, plenty of parking space up front especially for having an infant with you. quiet, nice staff, warm pool and literally THE BEST workout facility I’ve ever seen in a hotel. squat racks, actual bench press area, treadmills that work, separate room for yoga, abs, etc.

the only thing i didn’t like was that when i walked in the room i noticed the supplies such as paper towels and toilet paper weren’t replenished. they left what was used from the previous person staying there on the roll. covid is amongst us and that made me realize they didn’t clean and sanitize the room how they were supposed to

Great location, value, comfort, a real breakfast, perfect free wifi, comfy beds, perfect shower with wall dispensers, great gym, didn’t get to use the pool, but it was nice, and the hotel is right off the highway and right next to a great paved trail. I believe they have bikes to use, we didn’t have time, but the trail goes up and down and was pretty full with bike commuters and felt very safe. it went right up and past the stadium so I had a lovely 5-mile run and had plenty more path to use. The breakfast was the best complimentary breakfast I have seen. We were upgraded and loved the kitchenette. It was fully stocked with a nice island. If our daughter accepts OSU’s offer, this is where we will stay when visiting!

Excellent, friendly helpful staff (for the kids, we got an "elevator key" so that they can "open the elevator"), very comfortable room and beds, wonderful breakfast (sweet and savoury, good variety, changing over the days), good location (you can walk to the Uni and to the centre). Cute walking path along the river just outside of the door.

The water in the swimming pool seemed not super clean. But otherwise it was the best hotel in a long time.

Excellent room and facilities. We had to stay in Columbus for a medical procedure and the hotel was a great place to rest and recharge. The front desk staff who checked us in was fantastic. Location to Wexner and Ross Heart Hospital is ideal. Restaurant and bar area was great. Room was excellent

On the second evening, I returned from a long day at the hospital to find my key card didn't work. The desk staff tried to help but didn't know to reset my card. She asked another woman who essentially blew her off and left (this was at about 7:30pm) I felt bad for the woman trying to help me. She ended up walking me up to my room to let me in so I could change and go to dinner. She said she would just let me back in my room again when I returned. However, by the time I returned (about 2 hrs later) she had figured it out. She did her best, and I'm only mentioning it because the other lady seemed to be a manager or something and clearly didn't care that this employee was struggling with helping me. This has not been my normal experience at this hotel.

The room was incredibly comfortable (but strangely not so well lit!) and very clean. The hotel was very active the weekend I stayed -- sports fans and teams, weddings -- but my room remained basically quiet. Staff very helpful. I actually really liked that the hotel was dog-friendly, with dogs of all shapes and sizes walking in and out of the elevators!

The walk to OSU campus was a good 20 minutes -- a nice walk, certainly, but the hotel is reallly in the corner of the city, over by the highway rather than in a nice neighborhood for strolling or finding cafe's. Breakfast was very basic American -- lots of powdered scrambled eggs and decent coffee -- but I did not expect breakfast anyway.

Booked this hotel for a one night stay after seeing a show at Newport Music Hall. After picking this hotel for the price and good reviews it really exceeded our expectations. The staff were extremely friendly both upon our arrival and departure. Especially loved that the employee who welcomed us was wearing a pride pin! Though our room was right next to the elevator, it was quiet and the bed was comfortable! Also enjoyed the view of trees outside our window. This masked any view of the highway and gave the room a more peaceful feel. Breakfast was on par with other hotels we've visited! The employee running breakfast kept things well stocked and fresh (even though it was close to the end of the breakfast period) AND offered to take our plates for us. The cleanliness, friendliness, and attention to detail here were surprising! Though it was a lengthy walk we were able to walk to and from the concert. Also walked right by the football stadium, which is a short distance away. Would definitely stay here again!

Overall good experience. Staff was friendly & engaging. Walking path to OSU was a plus. Breakfast options are enough. Proximity to restaurants and OSU was convenient. Even with a number of school age children staying a couple days while there evenings were quiet.

Hallways and elevators could have been cleaned and picked up more regularly.

My mom is in the medical center which is a close distance from the Hyatt House. The hotel is nice and clean the staff was really understanding about my family situation with my mom being sick expect 1 front desk worker" kristen "she was rude and mean for no reason saying they were sold out then extending our room later after my sister called me for confirmation number..i explain they never gave us a hand copy its in my email then read the conf# to her.. She gave my family trouble about extending the room even those we told her that the front desk workers all knew our situation. She tried to not extend our room. All in the name of no reason. Some people have hidden agendas about how they treat you?

I think Kristen should have verified my family story and had my sister call me for conf# instead of telling my sister they are full and we cant stay. The medical center referred us to the Hyatt and there should be some type of type flag for the families staying at the Hyatt house so the workers know and not be rude to families going through sickness of a family member

Couldnt believe the value of the hotel! The price was fantastic for a larger family, the room was HUGE. Hotel was beautiful, service was happy and helpful!

Breakfast and the bar was our only complaint. They definitely could not keep up at breakfast and then ran out of food. BUT it was Easter/spring game weekend and the hotel was packed so its understandable but definitely should be planned for better. Bar did not have a great selection at that time. I couldnt even get an amaretto sour!
