Location is the BEST! One can look out over the ocean & enjoy the grassy area w/BBQ grills, lounge chairs & relax while taking in the salty air & sea birds..Haystack Rock is about ten-15 mins walk down the beach. We’ve often walked that way & had lunch at Mo’s & walked back! The town shops are close enough one can walk to most of them, which is lovely with parking as it is in CB. Elevator is a plus & new feature since we stayed here years ago. We love the hot tub you can reserve for just your party - you’re not in there with strangers. It is always, always, always CLEAN!!!

The beach fires are hard on me, sometimes when folks build them right in front of our room…not Schooner’s fault…but how I wish they had a sign not to allow them so close to the ocean facing rooms - we go to listen & enjoy the ocean - the doors are open when we’re there. The bed was not comfortable- had to ask for a blanket to use as a pad for my back…it helped.

It’s a little outdated and the dryer doesn’t actually work. However it was nice to not feel nickle and dimed as the resort provides beach toys/chairs and free access to washing machines and laundry detergent…unfortunately the dryer doesn’t really work after two cycles our clothes were still quite damp

We had a room with beach access which was dreamy. The room was comfortable and we appreciated having a kitchenette to cook breakfast. We appreciated the laundry facilities on site, and an added bonus was being able to borrow movies to watch in our room! We didn't use the BBQ's but the property has everything to make you stay comfortable.

If you have a beach access room, you have neighbors above you which you can hear. The first 2 nights it wasn't a big deal but the 3rd night someone new moved in upstairs and they were louder and stayed up late.

Right on the beach, nice private deck outside the door. Plenty of seating options on the grass looking out to the sea.

No extra towels for sunning yourself. Had to use your bathroom towels. Spa was indoors and not well ventilated. We didn’t bother with it, as it appeared to be unsafe. Although the hotel does not accept pets, there were two large poop piles right in the middle of the lawn seating area. I reported this and the young guy at the front desk said, “oh, sorry, I’ll report that”. Next day unchanged. So I called the desk again. This time a young woman told me it was “probably elk” (!) REALLY? I know a lot about animals, and it’s easy to decipher scat. It bothered me that nothing was done. Guests should not have to be subjected to that; disgusting smell and flies, “right there” in the common area. Complete fail of this accommodation!

The location of the property relative to shopping, eating, and sightseeing locations cannot be beat. We really appreciated having a kitchen with all the necessary kitchenware to reduce eating out for every meal. Honestly, with the balcony and the oceanfront view it's probably the best location to eat a meal.

Everything was exceptional! Though the weather was stormy, i can only imagine how beautiful it would be on a summer day. Our room led to the beach. We loved the space and having a mini but full functioning kitchen. Lighting was great and temp control was easy. Check in was easy and they gave us a list of places to eat and get groceries nearby which was very thoughful/helpful of them. I'm hoping to book place for the summer. Great stay

One of our favorite locations we've stayed at on the coast so far! The rooms were bigger than I expected and right on the beach which was great. Loved the oceanfront hot tub, balcony, and fireplace. Short walking distance to a grocery store, coffee shops, and plenty of restaurants. The staff were all very friendly and helped us find the free beach toys on hand for guests to use.

Best location in cannon beach. Large room with separate bedroom, balcony. Quiet, easy parking, clean, tv channels.small kitchen. Off season prices

Bathroom has a very difficult shower operation. Info sheet needs more clarification on using it.

Amazing and comfortable beachfront room! Andy and Doug were the two staff members who I talked to and they were both great! Andy was especially helpful and accommodating when it came to our late check in. The deck and beach access were fantastic and it was so nice being within walking distance to everything. Thank you for a wonderful weekend stay!!! 😊

Just the pillows were a little small and flat but the bed was very comfortable!

location, covered parking, ocean view, gas fireplace. We even ran into a seal while walking on the beach in front of our room. Perfect location for an Oregon Coast weekend.

The bar for the patio door lock did not hold itself up very well and when we walked out on the deck and closed the patio door, the bar fell into place and locked us out. :-0 Luckily, we didn’t have the front door chained and the desk clerk got us back in with ease. Thank you!
