Very appropriate value. Room was big enough for a couple and a baby. Location was everything. Steps to the beach, steps to the town's best outlets.

Would have appreciated seating on patio. Yes, there was an awkward and uncomfortable bench, but surely some inexpensive chairs or dining set would be feasible and would have made all the difference for parents who spent 2 hours in the afternoon on the patio during nap time and 1-2 hours after bedtime out there. I also didn't like that we were told, if you don't get a spot, park on the street. We didn't do a few excursions because we were genuinely afraid there would be nowhere in town to leave the car when we got back during busy hours. Completely out of hotel's control, but coffee shop across the street needs to open an hour earlier. I see an opportunity for the hotel here.

location was great, just across the beach with minimal traffic. bed was very comfortable and liked the face that both the rooms had access to balcony. enjoyed the views from living room couch as well as from the bedroom !

the bathroom had no entry door to the spa tub room which made it a bit difficult every time to take a shower afterwards. the thermostat needs some upgrades as it was difficult to control the temperature. kitchen needs to have some more utensils. the unit (204 south wind spa suite) was a bit out dated and needs a renovation but given the peaceful location and the proximity to the beach to have a morning walk - I would be OK to disregard these. however the per night price was very high , but then everything in cannon beach is extremely expensive :)

I went on a last minute trip with my 5 kids with my 5 kids, found this place and loved it (a bit spendy for the room we had) but worth it. Had all the things needed since we didn't come with much of anything, we stayed 2 nights, it was rainy the first day but beautiful the next and it was nice to just go out the door and walk to the beach and it had a nice patio, we had one of the beach front properties. The only thing I didn't like was the tvs in the room were so slow and didn't have much we could watch cause it was slow, so I would just say upgrade the tvs and lower the price a bit and I would give it a 5 star next time. But other than that, was so worth it and would definitely come again.

Tvs definitely need to be upgraded in the bedrooms, the price was a bit high.

The location of the property, complete with ocean view, was wonderful. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room had everything we needed, including kitchen equipment and a nice balcony. When we had a problem with the operation of the outdoor barbecues, the staff were helpful and got a maintenance person to fix things immediately. We would definitely return.

We had two nights of high winds and the door to our balcony let in cold air and made a very loud whistling sound that kept us from sleeping well. We should have reported it after the first night, as the door probably just needed new weather-stripping. We did report it upon our departure and feel confident that it will be addressed by management appropriately.

It was a little bit of a odd location, but we enjoyed it took our coffee down in the morning and took advantage of all the tables and gardens space, parking is a issue, left our car at the main building and walked.

Bathroom waste basket please some type of shelf no one wants to use the back of the toilet to hold their toiletries. And my husband has a medical issue, where a shelf to place his Supplies is mandatory.

The Waves is a great motel in a great location. It faces the ocean and you can walk out the door and be on the beach in two minutes. I’ve stayed there many times and all the rooms have been excellent. The room for this visit was an one-bedroom suite with a jacuzzi tub. Heavenly. The room is spacious, with full kitchen, gas fireplace, balcony, and well-appointed overall. Great bed. Haystack Rock, a beloved landmark, is a mile’s walk. Highly recommended!

We liked that the condo was down the road from the busy section of town. Less busy. We liked having a grocery store next door. I enjoyed the view from our decks.

The parking at the condo was not the best. We would come back after dinner and there would be no parking so we have to park on the street. I was not fond of the stairs to get in the room but it wasn't too bad.

Being next to the beach and restaurants, shopping etc. We had a view of the ocean from the room. Comfy bed.

The shower head sucked. Not adjustable. The kitchen table was grotesque, not dirty but stained permanently. . People upstairs were noisy(walking back and forth) at night. A little bit of a glitch during check in. Dates motel reserved didn't match what I booked. (Staff was great and resolved it promptly to our satisfaction).

Can't speak for the rest of the hotel but our room was right on the beach with a fabulous view. The best part was the picture windows that gave a wide, unobstructed view. There was a small stream in front that dogs and birds came to play and bath in. This added even more enjoyment to the view. The room was warm, comfortable and cozy with a small balcony too. I would highly recommend this hotel.

It was expensive, but the view was worth it.

The location was on point. Everything is within walking distance; the beach, restaurants, bars, museums, market, etc. Even though you could only see the ocean from the living room our view was still incredible. Our neighbors were quiet. The bed was so comfy. The gal in the office even was able to check us in 2 hours early. I loved our stay and would love to stay here again.

Wish we could have seen the ocean from the bedroom, but it was our own fault for not booking a different room.
