Hampton Inn Medford

Very clean. I believe it’s been renovated since I was here last year. The room was very nice. The location is great, food and stores close by. This is the 2nd year we’ve come to this hotel on our trip and everything is always very clean and that the staff is always fantastic, that itself makes it worth the money.

Last year when I was here the hot tub was broken and taped off, this year it was gone completely so I was a bit disappointed. I’m pretty sure I booked a room with two queens and pull out couch like I had last year, but I got a room with two queens and no pull out. There were six of us so this was inconvenient but they were sold out so we made it work as we were leaving super early in the morning anyway. My biggest complaint is more about the area than the hotel at all, no 24-hr gas stations and we left at 4:30am. If you’re leaving early be sure to gas up the night before.

the only thing I can think or is the $75 non refundable pet fee is a little steep for my liking. We’ve stayed at other Hampton Inns and they did not charge this fee. we have a small dog and stayed one night were there less than 24 hours and our dog did nothing wrong. I feel like this fee should be refundable like the incidental fee is.

The beds were comfortable with a good selection of pillow types. Breakfast has a nice selection of breads, fresh fruit, waffles, eggs, sausage, yogurt, juices...Not too far from the airport.

We were not happy that the hotel charged us $36 more than the price quoted us on Booking.com. We brought that to their attention when checking in and they said the extra was to cover "incidentals". At checkout we asked for a printed receipt--once again it was $36 more than the agreed amount; we even showed them the confirmation email from Booking with the lower price. We were told the extra was for incidentals and that it will be 10-14 days before the final price shows up on the credit card. We hope that we will pay the lower price that was quoted us. In the future, we may pay before hand rather than at the hotel to avoid this issue. I must say, we have stayed at Hampton Inn for years--our go to hotel--but after this experience, we may stay at a similar hotel of their competitors.

The breakfast was wonderful...we appreciated how spacious and organized the breakfast room was, not to mention how quick the staff were to replenish the food, and also the friendly service.

The only thing we didn't like was that we only stayed a night....we could have stayed a week, or a month, or a year and been very happy.

The hotel was in a quiet location, although close to main highways and handy to restaurants and shopping. The room was comfortable with a nice big TV. The bed was fairly comfortable and there was plenty of room in the bathroom. Loved the shower pressure.

Breakfast was ok but the packaged foods were not fresh. Bananas were overripe. The waffle batter was out and I didn't see anyone servicing the area to ask. Hot water was lukewarm.

The location was easily accessible to nearby coffee, food and area shopping.

I booked thinking this was a pet-friendly hotel, which it is, but I've never been charged a $150 non refundable pet fee. For example, I'm now in San Francisco a night later and their is a refundable Pet deposit, but the nighty fee in a bigger city is on $35 per night.

Location was good, Did not eat the breakfast. Quiet room great as well. Staff was amazingly friendly and accommodating. Will stay again, if going back to the area.

The carpet and entryway looked "dingey" or gray. Not unclean, but, aged. Might be time for a spruce up and brighter colors? Price for the room was a bit high! I know with the fires, etc. the housing is amazingly in short supply, but, we are not talking about Portland or SF area prices are what are being charged. Over 200 per night is a bit steep, don't you think?

The breakfast was very good. The waffles are always a bonus, and the coffee is great. They also have eggs, yogurt and cereal. The seating area is very welcoming as well.

It's a little farther than we would like from our daughter's house, but that's not really the fault of the establishment. And we do continue to stay there in spite of the longer distance.

I was charged the extra $150 for a pet room & was not refunded? Unreal? So as far as the property it was good. I am in BW Horizon Inn right now,; in Medford. Really we are. They always charge $25. We fly & spend money on Hotel rooms often in this area & will not be coming back to that property.

The staff were amazing! Vincent checked me in and was polite and thorough. Lynne handled the desk during the day and was always smiling and helpful. Karen and Wendy rocked on the breakfast team!!! The whole hotel was clean and kept up!
