Matthew was great from the moment we arrived and throughout our stay. I received daily text messages asking how things were and that if anything was needed to let them know. So, so attentive.

The location being downtown Philadelphia was very expensive. $64 a day valet or park across the street at another hotel's lot for $47 a day.

What I liked about Cambria downtown, is that it is in the perfect location! The aesthetics of the hotel was beautiful, and the staff was friendly! I truly enjoyed my interaction with Joshua, first impression was top tier!! He was our check in person after a looong night and arriving to the hotel at around 4am. He made it very welcoming! Although, my rate had changed (not sure why Booking.com🙄) Joshua offered us the rate that we initially was given & due to our visit of us celebrating a birthday, they upgraded our room to a King suite at no additional charge! What a win, the suite was amazing! The only reason I didn't give this hotel a 10, is because of the charge after 4am.

What I didn't like about the hotel, is after arriving at 4am, we were still charged for that night! Our flight was initially supposed to arrive at 11:30pm but there was so many delays & hiccups with Southwest! Like literally, 4am is technically the next day...why charge us for that night when it was completely out of our control! Also, the cleaning was good but DUSTING could be alot better! The headboards were very dusty and different places on the ceiling, near the vents were dusty. Not good for anyone like me with allergies!

The staff is very friendly. Great location, right in the heart of things - restaurants, local attractions, bars, cafes, etc. all within easy walking distance. The facility is clean and has all the amenities - restaurant, little shop for water, snacks, etc., lounge/bar with a little balcony. The attached rooftop bar/lounge (Attico) is only accessible by a separate elevator and reservation recommended but worth it - great views.

The building itself is a little small and the street level elevator lobby can get crowded due to that. However, the rooms and bathrooms are very spacious.

Location was walking distance to restaurants, cafes, shopping and historical landmarks. Short car ride to UPenn. Hotel staff was accommodating and allowed us to check in 1-2 hours early after an 11 hour plane ride. Very grateful. Double room was comfortable and spacious enough for 3 people. Did not have to move luggages to walk around room. 7th floor was noise free. Clean. Safe enough to walk around at night. Very friendly staff. Good security. Need room card key for elevator to stop on floors.

The vibe was great! Destinee in the Valet was a sweetheart…she got my sarcasm and ran with it! Matthew at the front desk let me down easy when I asked for the Presidential Suite…for free. And Kim in the bar listened to me and my stupid stories. All in all felt like family…the family you like!

Il was too stupid to figure out the Bluetooth speaker system in the bathroom mirror…Oh and we could have used some more pillows.

The room was stunning and very clean! LOVED the bluetooth mirror in the speaker! I only stayed for one night but the staff and staff was incredible! I wish I could remember the helpful staff member's name but he was older with dreads and glasses, a pure delight!! He went above and beyond and we most definitely appreciated it!

I didn't like that valet for one night was $70

The rooms are huge and the location was fabulous. The hotel is very secure and also had a nice, well-equipped gym.

We were three people and I noted that when I made the reservation, but when we arrived, we only had two sets of towels and had to ask twice for the third set. Also, the room had no cups or mugs for water or coffee, even though there was a coffee machine.

Great location at walking distance from City Hall. Big gym with equipement for a complete workout. Nice room. There is a parking garage across the street ($40,- a day). Also valet parking ($67,-). Nice bar.

Poor (no) view from our room. No explanation about use of the elevator (you have to tap your keycard before choosing floor) so every first time user is oblivious.

The room. was big, bathroom was also big and comfortable.

The floor was kinda dirty, it did not have carpet on it, you don't wanna wear light-colored socks or every time you walk barefooted, you'll have to rinse off your feet from dirt and someone else's hair -stick to the floor and then to your feet. Our room has a window to a narrow dark courtyard - basically facing another building, therefore we were a little disoriented in time.
