DoubleTree by Hilton Philadelphia Center City

Very comfy and would come back, due to the little things: thoughtful bathroom set up (but needed more towels!), coffee maker in room (but needed more supplies!), coffee shop downstairs so could purchase breakfast and coffee and consume in room, very helpful bellhop. Parking was also convenient, and location was perfect.

AC was a constant challenge with noisy fan going on and off. Could not find a functioning ice machine or any access to ice cold water (bar unattended, no fountains) as we were leaving so had to get on the road without any in our water bottles. Would have preferred checkout to be by noon, rather than 11am - which we couldn’t find posted anywhere and in the end had to call the desk to find out (at 10.50am!).

I liked the location, close parking, snack store, being next door to my parents as requested, the warm cookies at check in, and indoor pool. The woman who was working the snack shop stayed open as she was about to close and then helped us pick up the dropped cereal my daughter spilled- she was very very sweet about it.

A parking or breakfast voucher for one day would have gone a long way in terms of hospitality for us. My husband and I had a drink at the bar before dinner and my beer glass had overflowed and was put down in front of me as such. I had to ask for napkins to wipe it down so my hand wasn't covered in beer. The overall cleanliness felt good enough, but not pristine. We weren't told which was the accessible room so we took it instead of my parents and didn't realize. I repeatedly asked for a breakfast or parking voucher as a one time thing and was denied each time. The men assisting with bags were visible, but did not offer to help unless we asked.

The location was great the staff was wonderful and accommodating. The beds were very comfortable and the view was perfect.

The pool was very cold not heated at all. I left behind my glasses and even though they took my phone number at check in to return anything that may be left behind but they did not "find" them. The breakfast was awful for the price, it was slowly replenished where I had to get up several times to get what I wanted and the other items were cold. The waitstaff was rude and unprofessional, using another table as a waiters area for dirty dishes and also kept extra clean items in the same area.

I loved the location, close to everywhere I needed to be! Concierge was excellent in assisting me with luggage and other items I needed brought to my room! Room was a nice size., Pkg lot was adjacent to hotel which was helpful.

I didn't like the $35 pkg per night. As a guest at the hotel pkg should've been discounted or free as they do not have their own lot. Philadelphia has one of the highest hotel tax I have seen in my life. No microwave in room, the nice lady at the front desk did let me use the one in the back office. I was traveling with my son who is autistic and only likes certain foods. I needed things warmed up for him etc.

This was our 2nd time staying here at the Doubletree hotel. And as before we had no complaints at all. The staff was friendly with getting our room ready and quick when we asked for extra towels. The last time we stayed was at the beginning of covid and was unable to access the indoor pool. This time around we were able to take full advantage and stayed in the pool for several hours. The location was great as we were able to walk around and find great restaurants and see great views from the rooftop deck. This is by far one of our favorite hotels to stay in when we visit Philadelphia.

The only unfortunate complaint is that the room didnt have a microwave.

I loved the location and how clean the rooms were.

the only thing I didn't like was the location of the microwave. I didn't like that I had to come to the front desk in front of guests to ask to heat my food. Then when I was accompanied by a staff member, he stood over top of me while I heated my food. I felt like I was rushed! leaving me to eat cold food. I feel as tho the microwave should be placed in a better location where guests have easy access to it without having to bother staff members.

Everything else. I would definitely stay there again

Some things need upgrading- there was some sort of peeling finish in the bathtub & the lamps in the room were dim

The location is amazing. You're right in the middle and you can walk everywhere! The staff was all incredibly friendly. They brought us extra linens when we asked. The bed was sooo comfortable! Had lots of pillows on the bed. A little pricey but well worth it. There was a parking garage basically attached to the hotel so parking was simple and made unloading/loading simple for a big city! Highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel was in a great location, right on Broad St. My wife ran the Broad St. Run this past Sunday and the hotel was very conveniently located. Close to everything. And right next to the subway, also, convenient!

It was a little strange having a handicapped room right off the elevator! But, my wife and i made it work. We needed a hotel to stay at, and the Hilton DoubleTree accommodated us! Being right next to the elevator meant we heard it often. Every now and then it'd have us wondering what the sound was.

First time staying at this hotel it was great I would differently come back. My daughters really liked the pool (teshie) sorry I spelled it wrong she checked me in she was really friendly loved her customer service thanks for the cookies the room we got was big and comfortable everything in the room was working we had a nice view we enjoyed a lot we had looked at 5 different hotels before booking this one I'm glad we pick this one thank you guys for everything I will be back soon. The guy Chris that checked me out helped me get my daughter's coffee cup that was upstairs I hope you remember this part whenever you read my comment. I also liked that there were a lot of things to do around that were close by for kids.
