good location very stylish and comfortable

it was Pitty that they did not let us in before 4 pm which is very late. although the room was already ready and available they still charged us $30,- for checking in at 2:30 pm. it’s the little things that are Important and this was just making money which makes me not book at sonder again

location location location! a subway station is literally across the street, that can literally take you to New Jersey if that’s something you’re interested in. Plenty of options of things to do around: historic/touristy sites within the 15min, tons of bars/food/cafe options just outside the place, shopping centers close by and even a Walgreens and corner stores just down the street to grab water or snacks late at night or to stock up your fridge.

the bed was a bit uncomfortable (a bit stiff) but we mostly used it as a place to stay (and spent most of the time out for most of the day) so it was not that big of a concern for us.

This apartment was really nicely decorated. We had one with two levels, so went upstairs to bed! The block is really nicely finished. It is in an area that felt very safe and directly opposite a car park which, whilst expensive, was very convenient. We were able to walk everywhere from the apartment and were able to leave our teenagers in using chromecast on the television while we went out for a drink, which was ideal.

There is no kitchen area sink - just a fridge and a small amount of workspace, which meant that we had to wash things in the bathroom sink (!). The sofabed could do with a steam clean as it had a few stains on it.

I did not know there was breakfast??? :( I loved the room. It had a great vibe and the bed was more comfortable than my bed at home.

I wished that there was regular local TV channels as I love listening to news in the background, and I like to have nonsense TV running all night while I sleep which would've helped with the street noise. I don't stream much from my phone, so that was a bit of a let down. And the shower stall was very small and I'm not a big person, but I do understand the space limitations when older buildings are converted into modern accommodations.

A very spacious room in a great, central and lively location. The room was clean, comfortable and contained everything we needed. There is a cupboard in the lounge with consumables which you can help yourself to as and when you need. The bed was very comfortable, and there was more than enough storage space, suitable for a long stay. Visitors should be aware that this hotel has no front desk, and you will need to contact Sonder via the Chat on their app if you need anything (on which they are very responsive!). Your room will only be cleaned during your stay upon request, so you have complete privacy if you wish. This was certainly preferable for me. Great hotel at a very reasonable price point, and will definitely stay here again when we come back to Philadelphia

Very minor point, but there was no ceiling lights throughout our suite except in the bathrooms, with only a series of lamps in the lounge area and bedroom. It felt a little bit dark, even with all the lamps on and curtains open. This is certainly not the hotel's fault, but Locust Street is very loud. Lots of bars in the vicinity, and lots of traffic (car horns and Philadelphia are an iconic duo). They do provide earplugs and a white noise machine though. This is what we expected, but if you want to be in a peaceful location, then Midtown Village is not the place.

Hotel was close to Jefferson Neurology for my husband's appointment. Room and bathroom were a nice size and temperature was cool. Nice sheets and towels. Bathroom and room were clean. We did not have any trouble with doors opening with codes. It is nice that the price reflects the fact that there is no front desk.

Where are the charging ports? Not in the lamp or in the outlets? Good thing we brought our cords with electrical plugs. Room details and lounge details could be nicer . Our door rattled and the door plate was put on crooked. The closet door was difficult to open and close. It would be nice to have tea bags as well as coffee provided. TV could use an instruction sheet.

Booking is like an Air BnB - no staff, only a door and room code. The room was very clean and we had no issues, would definitely book again. BTW, in order to store your luggage before your check-in time they have "lockers" on the "lobby" level. This was great, as we would have had to lug our bags around if they weren't available.

There was a small blinking light/fixture in the bedroom plugged into one of the sockets near the bed. This flashed off and on all night. Unfortunately, this was only a few feet from where I was sleeping and it was impossible to ignore at night. I didn't want to unplug it as it looked like it might be some kind of sensor, so we had to put a chair and towel in front of it to block the light.

Good sized room, generous light with good blackout curtains for night time, large bathroom, good shower, towels and bedding, comfortable dining table. Quiet location (as requested -- thank you!).

I think every good hotel room should have a comfortable reading chair - this room did not. With no front staff, a phone number to contact someone would have been helpful. Parking was a pain and expensive. Couldn't you form a relationship with the parking lot across the street?

As advertised. Central location, short walk to City Hall, large bedroom and bathroom, toiletries, coffee machine, fridge, large TV, confy bed. We had a good experience, I would stay again.

The noise of people partying outside on Friday and Saturday night, it was not a problem for us but be careful if you have a light sleep. We didn't had any problem, but in case you have not sure how to report and get it sorted, you have codes to get access, and haven't seen any staff.

Awesome spot right in the middle of the "gaybourhood" with 2 restaurants right underneath the hotel and a few breakfast/lunch spots down the street. Old building with soaring ceilings and quirky bathrooms. Comfy beds and all the amenities you need. Sonder is self service so if you run out of something there is extras in the lobby to grab. Checking in was easy and they even have luggage storage lockers you can use all day on the day of arrival and departure.

Unfortunately the wifi didn't work for half our stay due to a problem with the internet provider. Nothing Sonder could do anything about and they gave us a refund for the inconvenience. The restaurants downstairs can be noisy if you're in a low level street facing room but luckily Sonder gives your free earplugs and a white noise machine!
