This is a respite from the everyday. As a sometimes solo traveller it can be daunting to find a off the beaten path location close to nature and still feel safe. This place at Whispering Farms is idyllic. I arrived after check in and Leroy was amazing enough to guide me to my room the catalooche. I wish I could give ten stars the tub was divine. The farm is quiet, I loved the roped gate to make sure the horses can roam the property freely without leaving the farm. The small touch made me feel safe. This is close to everything and tucked away enough to truly feel the nature and calm around you. THE BREAKFAST, I was told it would be delivered but never asked when which is .y fault, so I decided to pack my car before asking. Like destiny Janice was coming out to deliver so I got to eat in the barn with the doors open and views of two beautiful horse. WAIT FOR THE BREAKFAST, you would do yourself a disservice not eating this cooked with love meal. I can not wait to stay here again.

The setting of this bed and breakfast was delightful, and the cabins, "library", eating areas (indoor and outdoor) were simply lovely. The young lady who brought our breakfast in the morning was friendly and helpful and the breakfast was delicious. We enjoyed sitting reading in the "library" and the lovely atmosphere of the breakfast room.

It was unfortunate that there was only one available restaurant when we arrived at dinner time - a small local diner. However, this is to be expected if we want to stay in places that are quiet and a bit "out of the way".

Location, creekside, horses, jetted tub (upgrade), campfire pit, amazing gourmet breakfast, amazing chef. Homemade rustic pine furniture, Bluetooth radio mimics 1950s, immediate response to texted concerns and prompt resolution. Swedish sauna off dining room. Huge dining room and living room and reading room outside rooms. Creekside rooms have outside access as well as inside. Lovely site for relaxing!

Loved everything!

Whisperwood Cabin was charming with all comforts. We loved how much space we had (with private hottub) and still felt alone. Breakfast in the morning was brought to our cabin and was fantastic!

The (steep) stairs to the bedroom upstairs might not be for everybody (did not bother us, and the room upstairs is lovely!)

I loved all the wonderful antiques and hand made items tucked away throughout the house. I can't wait to come back and see what I missed . Breakfast on the porch and the hot tub made it perfect. Felt like a small slice of heaven

We went for a week long hiking trip to the Smokies and by mere chance we found this gem. Let's tackle the technical aspects of the review: Rooms decor/theme: Perfect. Each room/cabin has it's own "personality." A personality so real that can only be achieved through years (24+) of the same ownership and love put into your business. Cleanliness: Perfect. Clean as a whistle. Breakfast: Love on a plate. Did I mention we stayed for a week long hiking trip? Janice is a hiker herself and she knew right away our needs (which we didn't even expressed) and she came every morning, with the most delicious, heartiest breakfast that gave us energy for the whole day. And every morning a different menu, brought to your door! Mind you, this is not your run-of-the-mill, soulless breakfast of a hotel. This is your mom's or grandma's cooking! Service: Phenomenal. You cannot find more accommodating service than this. Talk to Janice for a few minutes and listen to her advice, from how to get to the trailhead to the best restaurants around. You cannot find any other place than this: on top of things, your needs, answered ASAP and a flawless communication throughout your stay. Ambience/ surroundings: Idyllic. Close to the road, yet you hear nothing. Overlooking to the mountains, you'll get a view from Mt. Camerer. A small, "silent" creek runs behind the property. The property is big, well kept where you can find quiet and solitude anywhere or get together around a fire pit. A couple of beautiful eco friendly lawn mowers (horses) are grazing all day around. A cozy rustic chapel is in the center of the property that will serve weddings beautifully. In the lodge building you have the warmest, old style country kitchen, a most delightful dining room and the coziest library. Outside, looking to the creek, you have the loveliest patio area where you can have your meals "al fresco".

Nothing

Very quiet and very comfortable. The room-served breakfast was exceptional and the hostess, Janice, was very interesting to spend time with. Our cabin overlooking the quiet running stream was nestled up into the woods filled with buckeye, paw-paw, oak, maple, poplar, elm and numerous other kinds of trees. These beautiful surroundings made for a very relaxing respite from busy city life.

Nothing! Everything was quite pleasant and enjoyable.

l liked that the property was easily accessible from the main road. It is clean and spacious with cute cabins of different styles and sizes scattered throughout. Very beautiful!

There wasn’t anything that I didn’t like about the property.

Breakfast was very creative and well prepared. Brought to your door hot and fresh at 9 am. Rated amazing

Loft bedroom was a little toasty but cooled off enough at night to sleep

Everything! It was perfect. The host were simply amazing. The breakfast was out of this world. If you want internet or cable this place is not for you. Cosby is just a short scenic drive to Sevierville, Pigeon Forge, and Gatlinburg. We stumbled across the Bush Baked Beans factory and visited their store.

The Jumpoff room was a little snug, but it was still such a nice room.
