Royal Madeleine Hotel & Spa

Loved the location it was the first time that we have stayed in the area and really enjoyed the relaxed fee, Gave us the opportunity to enjoy the atmosphere of Paris without the summer crowds. Staff were welcoming and professional. Rooms,if a little small were very well equipped. Lots of little touches that made a difference coffee drinks bathrobes good bed linen and pillows. Would recommend.

The reception and dining area were a little tired.

Staff was incredibly nice.

They asked for a 100 EUR deposit, of which we were notified only during check in. It was a bit unpleasant... Please show this information in the description before someone books the accomodation!

A fabulous hotel with friendly staff and great facilities, we particularly loved the swimming pool and sauna area. We were in one of the superior rooms on the 1st floor, which was spacious and the bed was exceptionally comfortable.

My only recommendation would be to pack a set of earplugs, as it can get a little noisy during the night. Also, be careful booking any transfers through the hotel - we were quoted 48 euros to go to the airport, expecting that we would pay for the trip through the hotel. When we checked out, we realised that we would be paying the taxi driver directly, who ended up charging 69 euros. In hindsight, we should have booked an Uber ourselves, it would have only cost 44 euros. Nonetheless, we really enjoyed our stay at the hotel.

Bedroom super clean, cosy, and with everything you need despite the small size, being given a bath as requested it was a plus, more than half of the staff was amazing and willing to help, would like to mention Solene and the gentleman of our last night who gave us an amazing recommendation for the dinner. A plus was the housekeeping gentleman fast and kind.

The gentleman who made our check-in was polite but not really engaging, however I believe what made us feel a bit uncomfortable was the gentleman in the night shift of our first nights who seemed a bit annoyed by our questions. Last but not least, we could not really find a good quality or variety at breakfast ( we tried it once)

Location is great, really central. Everything is in walking distance and the Tootbus is in 11 min walking distance. I loved the room which seemed bigger in real life, lovely bathroom. Swimming pool great, on reservation though for max 6 persons. Staff real friendly and professional, did the utmost to help! Shout out to Sofène!

I only missed the possibility to hang up my towels to dry or my clothes in the bathroom. This is why I asked to change my towels every day.

Very kind staff, always ready to help with any request. We arrived an hour before check-in and they stored our luggage for us until the room was ready. The room was small (like most rooms in Paris) but beautifully decorated. Beautiful shower and very clean. Towels were changed for us every day, as well as a bathrobe. Breakfast is absolutely adequate for Europe (croissants, fresh bread, cheeses, fruits, etc.). It is important for us to note that the breakfast staff were very nice and smiling, they even remembered what our usual drink was every morning. You get 2 Nespresso coffee capsules every day, it was convenient. The location of the hotel is great, a 3-minute walk from Madeleine metro station, lots of restaurants around. And yet, a very quiet and safe street.

The room access card stopped working 3-4 times during our entire stay, a bit annoying (you also need it to get on/off the elevator). We were told there would be a minibar in the room, and it was very mini... keep that in mind. The breakfast was delicious, although repeated every day, a bit boring after 6 days.

Lovely rooms. There were 3 of us in a Deluxe Room which had good amount of space. The pool is beautiful! With regret we were informed we could not have the room with the door to separate living area from bedroom but the amount of space was still good. Great location near 2 different Metro stations. Very nice hotel and bathroom had bath with hand held shower and separate shower. Fridge as well which was useful.

Deluxe room very nice but did ideally want the door as we had 17 year old with us. We were advised before hand though. Staff were great. No bedding provided for the third person despite booking for 3. Staff were incredibly helpful to correct this though.

The location, exceptional close to restaurants and shops, quite lively, center of Paris. The size of the room. The bed confortable and large. It's overall good value for money.

The staff. When I arrived late at night check in was slow. They gave a room already occupied, the person inside was not so happy to be awaken middle of the night. No real excuses or gesture from the staff (upgrade ou offer breakfast or whatever nice gesture). The bathroom flooded because the inclination of the shower was not well. Breakfast not bad but overpriced for what it is. The hotel is good value for money in Paris, but don't go because of the spa. It's small, gym not equipped and way too much chlore in the swimming pool. Still overall a good place.

Really enjoyable stay in this charming hotel. Stayed in deluxe double with a huge terrace which had a table & chairs and sun loungers. A real plus for a Paris hotel. Breakfast was good, slightly limited but good quantity. Swimming pool was limited to 6 people with time slots, which meant you had privacy and guaranteed space to swim. Overall I would recommend and would stay again.

Very comfortable and centrally located. Bathroom was so lovely with nice products. They surprised my daughter with tarts and even champagne (for me!) for her birthday, which made it very special. We loved coming back to the room after spending the day exploring. And although the rooms face the street, it was very soundproof. Would return!

When we arrived the bathroom trash was full and twice they didn't refill water and the bar downstairs wanted to charge for it. Other than that, it was a great stay!
