Sure Hotel by Best Western Paris Gare du Nord

The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. Although small, there is a lift in the property, which helps if you have a room that’s on the upper floors. The Hotel is very close to La Chapelle Metro Station and Gare De Nord Train Station, as well as having a bus stop right outside, so public transport links are very strong. The hotel itself is very clean, right down to the mattresses (no bed bugs to be found, even under intense scrutiny). Those that are familiar with Paris know that La Chapelle is a less glamorous part of town, but the hotel is on the main road, and as an experienced traveller whose visited the city serval times, at no point did I feel unsafe in the general vicinity. If you’re looking for a budget friendly place to stay, and are not averse to staying in a multicultural part of town I’d highly recommend.

It’s clean and near to Paris Nord station. 5 - 7 minutes by walk, near to Metro La Capelle and also near to the laundry coin. It’s worth with the price

Excellent location, very close to Metro and walking distance to Gare de Nord. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was out class . Hotel recently refurbished, everything was new other than the old small lift.

Lift in the hotel is very tiny , can only accommodate one person with one bag , it was out of order most of the time .

The location of the hotel is superb! A 10 minute walk from Gare du Nord, which has connections across France and Europe, and a 3 minute walk from the metro (La Chapelle). In Paris, the metro is the most convenient mode of transportation so wherever you stay, you will end up using the metro. The fact that this hotel had a station literally a stones throw away, was very convenient. Other reviews I read complained about the surroundings, claiming it was more Indian than Parisian, don't let this put you off. Yes the nearby stores and restaurants are Indian based but you're in Paris!!! You are going to be exploring and travelling around the city - not staying close to the hotel. The room we stayed in exceeded our expectations, it had a double bed, a single bed, a shower WITH relatively strong pressure and a radiator which heated up the room nicely. The best thing about staying here though was the staff. They were extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating giving us recommendations on how to get places and where to eat.

The entrance wasn't clear but once we found it, we had no further issues. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Room for 3 on top floor (6). Spacious and quiet. Air conditioning worked well. Great breakfast. Every single member of staff we met from the guys on reception to the ladies replenishing breakfast to the cleaners were super friendly and helpful. Location was great for us. Little India was vibrant and 3 different metro stations within 10 minute walk of hotel which meant we could simply choose the line we wanted and not have to change. Perfect for Eurostar out of Gare du Nord. I'll stay again.

If i were a woman travelling alone, i might not have liked the area at night but actually I popped out one evening on my own to get something from a nearby store and it was fine and 3 of us (all women) walked 5 mlns to a nearby cafe to get crepes at 10.30pm and it felt fine.

We chose this hotel mainly due to the location, since we had a train to catch on Gare Du Nord at 6am. It is in fact very convenient, a 10 minute walk (with large suitcases) and we were inside the station. The room had a small balcony, newly renovated bathroom and confortable beds. The room is on the small side, like most hotel rooms in Paris. Breakfast was included in our rate, and had a good variety. Mostly basic choices, but enough. I would recommend this hotel or stay here again.

It was a small room but we felt like home. It was clean, the staff is friendly and the breakfast is good too (a nice way to start a full day in Paris). The staff is helpful and smiling but they aren't the most professional. Awesome facilities (hairdryer and good quality liquid soap).

The location. Even is located super close to the metro and everything was easy to access, keep in mind that is a weird zone with maybe strange people there. There wasn't any incident anyway.

the room was very nice it was small but compact. The bed was very comfortable and I liked the tea/coffee facility in the room. the bathroom was excellent very modern clean and the shower was great. The staff were excellent very helpful and friendly. The cleaning staff were great . the room was spotless very clean. The location of the hotel is very good as near the train station and not far from the city centre by bus

the bedside tables could be a little big bigger to enable a person to put more things on the table.

Location was perfect - being less than 10min from Gare du Nord and 5min from La Chapelle, also there is a bus stop right infront of the hotel. My room had one queen bed and one sofa bed, beds were comfy, bathroom was small, but had everything and a nice shower. Although the room was facing the street, there was not too much noise. We requested for luggage storage after we checked out, and that went smoothly too. They also have a small lift to the room! Highly recommend.

Good location for Gare du Nord. The map here is misleading. Come out of the main entrance of the station (the one with the impressive facade). Turn left and walk to the end of the block. Turn left into Rue du Fauborg, and the hotel's on the right-hand side towards the far end. A very convenient location, handy for the station and the Montmartre area, and very comfortable. Staff were very welcoming. Plenty of shops and restaurants around

I felt it was expensive, but I suppose that's Paris
