The room overlooked the Vatican which was a stones throw away. Easy to access restaurants, bars, shops, metro. The bed was ultra comfy and room so clean. Breakfast was brought to room each morning and was plentiful (you ordered the previous day). The staff were charming too, which makes a world of difference.

The shower was very temperamental, turned from hot to very cold without adjusting, almost like it had run out of hot water. Unfortunately very noisy at night as windows weren't that good. Sounded like you were at the speedway track.

Outstanding staff. They respond timely when needef.

It would be nice to re-introduce front-line reception who would receive staff upon arrival and updating customers of checkin time. For people coming in from abroad, it would be nice to be received and allowed access to the property unlike our experience of standing in front of the gate for more than one hour before we could gain entrance to the build.

This was a last minute booking. There was only one room available and it was excellent. We were so happy with our room. It was clean and the bathroom was large when comparing to other hotels/airbnbs in Rome. They have room service to clean your room and they even bring you breakfast to your room. This is a small hotel with a couple of rooms but their service is excellent. We would definitely stay again. It's also right on the border of Vatican City. Even though it is not center Rome, it is only 6 minute walk to the metro that will take you to the center.

I personally liked this but some people might not like the self check in process during after hours.

Location: The location is excellent. It is a short walk to St.Peter's Square and the Vatican Museums (5 minutes). And it's a short walk to the nearest metro (5 minutes). It is also quite close to the nearest bus stop (2 minutes). There are quite a few restaurants and affordable shops around. Room: The room has a minimalist vibe. The whole room is white except for the curtains and the party light in the shower (so cool). It's a large room by European standards. Great for families and for our small group of three friends. The room was very clean and was refreshed daily. Breakfast: The breakfast was okay but not great. It was mostly sweets and carbs. No fruit. Staff: The staff was so hospitable. They were kind and friendly and helpful.

We had an excellent stay in this room. The location was excellent, right next to the Vatican. There were also several restaurants and coffee shops nearby. Another nice feature was that it was right next to the taxi stand. The host was very communicative and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. We arrived a bit early and since the room was not ready, they allowed us to store our luggage for a few hours. The room was very clean and the included breakfast was a great bonus. If were to stay in Rome again, we would choose this apartment.

The room was a little small for the four of us (two adults and two kids). However, we knew that this was going to be the case. The location more than made up for this.

Perfect location, Vatican is only 5 minutes walk, many small restaurants in the neighborhood. As we were with two kids, we took the 4 bed room which was surprisingly spacious. Room was very clean, it also had an AC, internet worked perfectly. The self checkin worked smoothly, we asked for an airport transfer, it was perfect, no complications. Also our flight home was late in the evening but we could leave our luggage at the reception, which was helpful.

I cannot add many things here... Breakfast is traditional Italian, which is great, but a bit more continental choice would be nice. Having the breakfast in the room is not necessarily comfortable for that many.

SPGS is located next to the Vatican in a fabulous neighborhood area. The rooms were spotless, the air conditioning, hot water and water pressure were excellent (outside 41C inside 20C!). The beds were very comfortable. Clean towels each day. There is the convenience of a elevator (charmingly antique but functions very well). Our room overlooked a busy street but we did not hear any noise. Light breakfast and coffee included. The staff was extremely courteous and went above and beyond to take care of us. The communication was excellent and timely. We loved our stay! Thank you Luigi, Silvia, Dani, Kimberly and Antonella!!! Grazie!!!!

The location was very close to the Vatican and close to a lot of shops, restaurants, and public transit. The room was surprisingly quiet amidst the hustle and bustle going on outside. The air conditioner worked really well and provided us the much needed relief after walking around in the heat all day. The dark curtain also was crucial in keeping the room dark for as long as we needed in the morning, and kept the room very cool during the day. The staff brought breakfast of our choice into our room every morning and on time. It was a very nice treat! We had a very nice stay.

There was no microwave in the room. Otherwise all was good!

Loved the location, it was close to restaurants and the Vatican/St Peters Basilica. It had a large bathroom and they had stocked the fridge with some drinks. Loved that it was a non smoking room so no funky smells. The hop on hop off bus stop was a short walk. Location seemed safe, we walked everywhere without worry. They took care of booking the travel from the airport and back and it was flawless, driver was on time and ride was smooth. We asked for some restaurant suggestions and the food was delicious. Highly recommend L'archetto, 4 of us had pizza, apps and drinks for under $80, so much food and so delicious. I think we tried almost every appetizer they had!

Nothing, thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Highly recommend and we will stay again when we return.
