Mia Reef Isla Mujeres Cancun All Inclusive Resort

The lagoon was the best. Perfect and clear shallow water. The place is intimate and not too crowded. Food is simple but after staying in Cancun I do not take fresh sea food for granted. Great selection of grilled fish and sea food tacos. The Mexican restaurant was creative and interesting. It was just paradise.

Finishing is not wow. Needs some paint and work to really be a luxury resort but that is really nothing compared to the great scenery and beach they have. Small stuff like steps to the water are falling apart.

The welcoming Staff ! It's nice to see people enjoying what they do. Location and cleanliness was superb. The food was delicious and non stop, as was the alcohol. Some of the best drinks ever ! The swimming pool was always clean along with the bar. I can't even express how beautiful the beach is . Special thanks again to your Staff. See you next year !!!

I didn't get what I payed for ! I payed for a King bed with a deluxe room. What I received was a Queen bed next to my daughter's room for $1000.00's more. The front desk promised me on that Wednesday they would move me to another room. Never happened !

This property definitely has the BEST BEST beach on the island!!! The staff was friendly and helpful with any needs we asked for. The food is typical of an all inclusive and the ceviche/cocktail bar was really good as well(wish it was open daily tho)

We were here for our anniversary and my husband wanted to have a Mariachi serenade for our Private romantic dinner and the hotel wanted to charge him $300 just to let the mariachis in to the hotel to play which I refused to let him pay and so we just canceled our dinner and went into town instead. Also would recommend that the hotel have more shade umbrellas available.

Amazing location on the best beach. Hotel super nice. Loved the food and drink choice. It was fantastic. I had a room with a great view. It was a very comfortable stay

Staff can be a little rude if you don't tip them well. Just hate that kind of attitude. They expect a tip or won't bring you a drink next time. I don't mind tips but usually do it at the end of the stay as i would expect great service regardless.

The staff was awesome. The location was fabulous...its located on a lagoon and the water breathtaking. The all inclusive package was worth it

The water was lukewarm the first few days. The food they served was very tasty however the variety of food was very limited. Only 1 place to eat for every meal and 1 specialty restaurant Mon,Wed,Fri and they serve the same menu everyday. Not a child friendly menu, no pizza, chicken nuggests...they do have French fries

My goodness, the scenery was stunning! I felt like I was in a post card. The drinks were delicious and the staff (Loved Jonathan at the bar and Royer with entertainment) were all very friendly and helpful. I love that the island was safe enough to leave property and wander around either on foot or via golf cart.

The food in the cafeteria was okay. I was bummed that the nicer restaurants were only opened every other day and for limited hours. The bed linens were awful. They felt plasticy and stuck to your skin. It made it difficult to sleep.

The setting/location can't be beat. The facility was older but mostly renovated. Room had fantastic view and was clean and comfortable. Being on a private reef gave security and prevented overcrowding with general public. Staff was great. Friendly and helpful.

The food in the main restaurant was just ok. Biggest issue we had was the hard sales push for us to join their vip club. They were not honest in their approach, getting us to agree to a meeting and aggressive once we said no, continuing to try to convince us for several days. This made things quite uncomfortable. The stairs entering the beach area were all roped off but one. These shoild have been repaired.

I absolutely loved the location. Placed on the most beautiful spot of cancun area, it is also very convenient as it is close to the center of Isla Mujeres. The view is incredible and the beach offers endless swimming opportunities. The staff is very welcoming and friendly, and the cleaners do great job.

The rooms are rather basic, especially those without a view - low ceilings and really shabby and uncomfortable equipment. The food was rather okay, but very monotonous especially regarding the choice of vegetables - I don’t recommend that place for vegans.

There was a good buffet selection, especially salads and fruit. The fresh omelet station at breakfast was excellent. The hot good selection was slightly more variable in quality - especially the meat options. Food was available in one form or another for 24 hours a day. Bicycles were available to borrow although it was exceptionally windy while we there in February so we didn’t make use of them. The interior of the main building was modern and pleasantly decorated. The complimentary minibar was topped up daily. **There we’re bedside resting lights! A very rare facility! We could actually read in bed!**

We chose the least expensive accommodation - a hood sized room looking out to the sea. The decor was bright but starting to become tatty and although everything worked in the bathroom, it could have gone with updating some time in the past 20 years. We liked the view and location, but would seriously consider a more expensive room if we returned. The location of the hotel was excellent / a short walk to Playa Norte if you wanted to go (and into town) but over the boardwalk so quieter.

The location is beautiful and inviting. Close to everything and easy walk to town or short inexpensive cab ride to whatever you want to see. The staff is a lot of fun and good at what they do. The restaurant that you have to make reservations for was awesome! This was the only place that I was able to have dessert as the chef made me an apple tart that was gluten, dairy and nut free.

There was a lot of construction/ renovations being done so it was quite noisy a lot of the time. Hammering early in the morning and throughout the day while people are trying to relax. The food was ok. Not a lot to choose from if you have a gluten allergy. They do not accompany for celiac. And most things also have dairy or nuts. Only one pool and one bar which closes relatively early. Lunch service doesn’t begin until 1 and there was only one restaurant that was actually open during the day. They are renovating the ceveche place so they had it set up by the main dining room.
