The staff were truly exceptional and exceeded my expectations beyond words ! I can’t thank your staff enough for how well they took care of me. Despite my short stay, I was treated so well from the minute I walked in being greeting so kindly and respectfully from the staff standing at entrance who provided a lovely warm welcome. The front desk staff were equally professional and ensured I was looked after and cooks accommodate my needs with ease and hassle free . They assisted with so many things and made my stay so amazing . I am so thrilled with your staff , even the room service people , including a young man and lady on Saturday evening who delivered my meals with such professionalism and grace . I was also so humbled and amazed at the staff going over and above to assist with getting me a phone charger too which was very important as I was traveling from overseas and had left mine at home which they helped resolved was a life saver! Your staff made my time so memorable by being taken care of to the highest standard. The staff went over above and truly exceeded my expectations and ensured I had the best service. I will be a returning customer no doubt and have let some of my closest friends know and we will return as you have the most impressive and holistic service I’ve encountered to date - just seamless - low stress and felt very cared for from beginning to end . I booked as a surprise for our wedding anniversary and the staff did everything they could to make us feel very special, including a wonderful room, bottle of bubbles and chocolate. We enjoyed all the hotel has to offer. It is superb and has an impressive 25m heated infinity pool overlooking the waterfront, the gym and steam room spa and changing facilities were absolutely amazing. The Maori and other artwork throughout the hotel is wonderfully arranged throughout and takes the best architectural aspects of the hotel in and invites to look around. Beau the guide dog puts a smile on people's faces at arrival. Although we are locals, we felt a million miles away from hectic daily life. We will certainly do this again. Thank you for a memorable weekend in one Auckland's best spots.

Great having three restaurants on site and room service. Highly recommend the afternoon tea in the Living Room. Plus, the viaduct is a very short walk away. Love the decor in the rooms, usually the hotel has been very well maintained, although we noticed a couple of things needing attention on this stay. The staff offered great service throughout the stay, in all areas. Stunning views. Loved the little details, such as the gift and card for our anniversary.

Broken glass in one of the elevators, the lamination on the ply near the elevators seemed to be bubbled up. The blind on the room window was slightly torn in the bottom right corner, dirty handprint mark on wall, flat helium balloon on ceiling in one of the open areas.

The ambience of the hotel is calm and relaxing. The room was a fantastic design - built in furniture, luxurious bathroom, panel lights, view etc. Staff extremely helpful and courteous.

The only slight downside was the Captains Bar, where we found the service a little lacking. Staff didn't come to check if we wanted more drinks, even though we were almost the closest table to the bar. We had to get up and go over to ask for drinks. It wasn't that busy, plenty of empty tables. This was around 6pm on Saturday.

Great hotel. Our research paid off! The view of the CBD from our 7th floor balcony was epic. The beds were very comfortable. We're happy to have found the place.

Our only complaint is the bald parking attendant was aggressive and pushy. Every single transaction with the guy during our stay involved restraint on our part. We didn't appreciate the free flowing backhanded comments either. It was never busy in the parking area and we were almost exclusively the only guests around most of the time. He took his job way too (uncomfortably) seriously. Didn't treat my partner with respect when she dealt with him alone one afternoon.

The hotel is located overlooking the harbour or marina. We had a room with a large balcony overlooking the marina. The hotel is modern, excellent room with large bathroom, powder room, great bed and lounge seating area with a table ,walk in area for clothes and storage.A very clean and well presented room. We ate at the Onemata restaurant. The food was exceptional sharing a slow cooked shoulder of lamb with vegetables.Also another night we ordered room service and again the food was great.The staff at check in and check out were very helpful and professional.

Loved the connection to iwi and Māori culture throughout and architecturally. And that the staff knew the connection when I asked. Modern quality hotel reminds me of the hotels in the Middle East with a Māori influence. Can't wait to go back.

The only downside was the manager at breakfast at Onemata. She was rude. And everything we asked for was a chore for her. Everyone else was great.

The room was very clean and comfortable. The front desk staff were very welcoming and helpful.

I had to leave the hotel at 5.45am to get to the airport for an early flight to Sydney. I could not have breakfast because room service was not available so early. I think I should be able to stay without paying for a breakfast I never had. The milk in my fridge had been opened!! I understand the safety reasons for having mesh over the windows but it totally spoilt the view.

Everything was so beautiful! We were welcomed and felt at home straight away. We were upgraded for our first 1 year wedding anniversary and we literally were so amazed as we had been looking so forward to this getaway as we could finally relax and have time to ourselves without our babies. We will definitely be back though.

Nothing to like, only downfall was the bathtubs plug didn’t work and was still letting the water out. The toilet was the best thing I enjoyed and the view!

Came here to celebrate our anniversary and my wifes birthday. It was soo warm welcome from the staff. Very good customer service. Room was in excellent condition veiw was just perfect as we dream off. Would love to cum again n again. Thnkx alot for the cake as we entered in our room it was nicely presentable. Would give 10/10 for my overall experience.
