Citadines Sukhumvit 11 Bangkok - SHA Plus Certified

The location and value-for-money proposition are great. The fact that Soi 11 situation has got worse a bit is negligible and has nothing to do with the hotel. I liked the staff's behavior they were very accommodating and the room was a nice cozy place. There's a 7-11 nearby and at night a lot of street food options. It a cheaper but one of the most decent options to stay in Soi 11. The kitchen and ironing stand is a great features of the facility, the environment in the room makes u feel at home.

Some tidbits like the washroom door would not lock, the commode was too close to the wall was very uncomfortable. The bed was not the comfiest but at their price point, one cannot complain much. They don't have their own breakfast option and offer tickets for breakfast at the neighboring hotel it is still not a big problem though. They had an Irish pub on the ground floor but that closed and it was a bummer. The sofa bed was a wreck also and we had to manage by setting up floor bedding instead of the sofa bed.

The staff, room and location of the citadine have always been fantastic. My problem is with you booking.com not the Citadine. You advertised and show photos of the restaurant and pub on your site that isn't even bloody there anymore.. Citadine = fantastic, Booking.com i will never use you again.

Located in one of the most happening streets of Sukhumvit, good sizes room with a well equipped kitchen, ironing facilities, mini fridge, good bathroom and a very helpful staff. You step out of the hotel and you have at your feet the best of Bars, restaurants' and coffee houses. We got a quiet room as requested but with no view. Just to be warned, as it is a party street, you have music blaring till very late night and could be disturbing to some in lower floor road facing rooms. Hotel provides a free Tuk Tuk shuttle to Nana BTS (500 M away), from where one can access most of Bangkok. Terminal 21 Mall with a Gourmet Food Centre and a Food Court with many options is just a stop away at Asok BTS.

Location and facilities were very good. Staff very friendly and helpful. The room/apartment included all necessary facilities. It was cleaned every day and new towels were provided. 2 bottles of water and coffee making requirements were provided for free every day. Good and prompt laundry service available.

The only negative factor was that the room was quite dark due to its location on the 2nd floor. I spoke to the staff about this, and they said that the 7th and 8th floors would be better for this aspect. I wish I had been informed about this in advance and given an opportunity to request one of these rooms.

The hotel is in excellently located. Friendly staff. Although a narrow pool, it is a good length and possible to swim laps when other guests are not there.

The bed was a standard double, when staying in a so called "1 bedroom deluxe" room, you expect an extra large bed. While the room cleanliness was fine, the pool area was not kept particularly clean or tidy, with guests drinks from the previous day still being there the following day and sun beds not put back. The gyn is the smallest of any hotel I have ever been in and is incredibly cramped

Good location. Very touristy, with many hotels, massage shops, restaurants, Starbucks, and convenience stores. There are also many transportation options, such as taxis, vans, and tuk-tuk at the door. It's close to BTS stations (Bangkok metro). What we really liked as a family was the two-bedroom apartment which made us feel very comfortable and somewhat at home. When you travel with kids, you need more space and more than just a hotel room. Even though the nightlife around the hotel was quite busy, we couldn't hear the noise from our room.

The hotel staff were nice and friendly. Room was clean and bed was comfy. I could cook in the room when I did not want to go outside. I ordered food online (Grab app) when I was lazy. There are plenty of restaurants, streetfood vendors and convenince stores nearby. There was shuttle Tuk Tuk service to Nana BTS station. Less than 10 minutes on foot from BTS to the hotel.

The pool was not as clean as I stayed the last time but it was not too bad. Queen size bed is pretty good for a solo traveller like me but I am not sure if it is okay for 2 persons. There are pubs nearby so I could hear noise of music and felt the beat the whole night.

Everything. Facilities, cleanliness, location - all great.

A power cut did highlight a couple of minor flaws. I wanted to call reception to find out what actually was happening but nowhere in the room could I find the number to call - a short directory of numbers, or a simple display of the reception number would be useful. My in-room power did not come back on while other rooms had power and I had to “play” with the card in the electricity slot to get it to come on. Essentially, some sort of marking on the room key card, indicating which end and which way round it need to be inserted… would be helpful.

previous bookings got me a room with the option of a bath this one did not and it was something I missed. Wi-Fi connection was so slow it was almost impossible to connect my 2022 iPad Pro in fact I had to go to Starbucks to get a stable hook up, Thailand is promoting 5G Wi-Fi so why are the hotels here still running on 3 to 4G ? isn’t it time to move forward to where the rest of the world is?

I was pleasantly surprised when I entered my room . at the price, I expected something quite modern but spartan, with limited 'luxuries' and facilities but was very pleased with the layout of the room into 4 distince sections - bedroom, sitting area, kitchen and bathroom. It was very like what one might expect in a serviced-apartment style of accommodation. The mounting of a (slightly old but adequate) TV on a sliding rack meant that you could watch TV in bed or in the sitting area - although I didn't actually use the TV, I was impressed at the thought that had gone into the room design. I generally don't indulge too much in the little luxuries but slippers are provided, along with ironing facilities, safety deposit box. The kitchen was pretty well equipped, so you could definitely self-cater if desired. All in all, very good value and in a great location.

My only reservation would be the swimming pool and gym provision - both really only offer sufficient space for one person to use at a time. I didn't use either.
