Travelodge Sukhumvit 11

Room was comfortable and bathrooms are also super clean. Location is amazing on Soi 11 and has access to plethora of pubs and restaurants facilities. Breakfast was also good and you can request the chef to customize to make pure veg items too. Chef won't mind it at all.

Housekeeping is something needs improvement and hotel is stingy in giving tea, coffee, water like consumable amenities. There is no wardrobe in the rooms so you need to keep all clothes in your suitcase only.

It was great just two recommendations 1. different light:the room can use more/different light, even with all lights on still quite dark 2. also it would be great to do a little extra cleaning as we stayed 4 nights, they seemed to focus more do the basic like making the bed and renewing the water/coffee (which they did well and it looked tidy) but with 4 nights it would be nice to clean the toilet and sink in the bathroom etc at least 1 time , this was not done

- if you have to stay long hours in room waiting for PCR result from hospital, it would be nice to get at least a little food for free (specially if you pay this Test&Go package) - some hotels do it, but this did not - I could only order and pay it... :-/

Very good location. Lots of people using as a short stop over. Beautiful view of the city from the pool at night which stays open until 11pm

Noise of bikes at night on the roads around.

Great location, very busy but we liked that. Lots of food, bar and convenience stores nearby as well as massage and spa treatment places. Yr affix can be congested around the hotel but that's Bangkok for you Breakfast buffet was good and the pool was unreal, nice to dip in the evening with the sound of the busyness below. Booked a taxi back to BKK for 700 bhat in reception, that was for an SUV which was cheaper than the grab app.

Only downside was they said we had taken/lost a hand towel when we were checking out even though we hadn't taken any towels out of the room (the pool has them up there). Couldn't be bothered arguing over what amounted to about €4 - just paid it.

I have stayed in this hotel previous years as well and recently. The location is strategic, a few minutes walk from the MRT ( Sukhumvit ) and the BTS ( Nana ) in the middle of the nightlife of SOI 11, Sukhumvit area. The structure is modern with very clean large rooms and quality and price match perfectly, as well as the staff is very friendly and professional. The gym and swimming pool located on the top floor are beautiful and spotless, with a beautiful view and a bar with various dishes and drinks at moderate prices. Inside the structure there is also a restaurant on the ground floor for a good buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner or a simple drink. Highly recommended, I will be back. If I can give one piece of advice to the establishment, to put a clock in the pool.

The mattress was not very comfortable, and the laundry prices are very expensive, as well as the prices they offer for excursions within the hotel.

+ The beds were super comfy (and I'm picky about mattresses!). + The shower. OMG, the shower. I'm not a 'shower person' but I've never spent to long in the shower ...! + Quiet (for the most part) + Helpful staff at the counter. + Breakfast is served until 11am! + We asked for a higher floor and quiet room and they gave us that. Had a nice view (well as nice as this hotel can provide in this location) looking over a romantic restaurant next door and a beautiful old tree. This gave us the opportunity to watch the beautiful tiny Thai squirrels go about their business... :) + (or minus, depending on what you are looking for) located at the end (and around the corner of) Soy 11. Soy 11 has become, post pandemic, a real party street, rivalling Soy 4. Lots of bars, clubs and endless street vans selling marijuana (which is now legal in Thailand - if that's your thing).

- The walls maybe sound proofed, but the doors definitely aren't! (Although, on the whole, it's not an issue as it seemed to be a quiet hotel) - Lighting in the room was poor - not bright and not helpful when any ladies want to look at themselves in the mirror. Basically it's ambient lighting with no main light when you need to look for something! - As much as I LOVED the shower, as it has no doors, it did tend to to create a puddle on the bathroom floor.

Located in the city center of Bangkok, some 10 minutes by foot to the BTS with a Tops supermarket and two 7-Elevens very close to the hotel Nice roof top swimming pool. Not very big, about 50m2, but okay for a quick cooling down. About 12 pool beds around the pool and some chairs and tables at the nearby bar. Depending on what time you want to use the pool it will be busy or not. Unfortunately there always will be some annoying kids not minding that you also are on a break ... Daily cleaning of your room if you want to. As well as a number of bottles with drinking water. Good beds too with 2 pillows for each bed. A small fridge and air-conditioning.

The hotel has two buildings. Number 1 is the big building and number 2 is the smaller one which has the restaurant The Lodge on the ground floor and the rooftop pool. Be sure in what building you want to have your room in. In the restaurant you can have your buffet breakfast. In my opinion no good value for your money. The space between the elevator and the rooms is very noisy. When people are talking you can follow the entire conversation. If they are making more noise .... That can be the case for the hotel is situated in a part of Sukhumvit with lots of bars and such ...

The location is cool for the fact that it's a very busy area. The hotel is a little hidden and hence you don't hear much of the city noise. The service is very friendly. Rooms are bright and clean and have everything you need. The pool is nice but for all sun lovers: you will not find the sun there for the entire day since it disappears behind the skyscrapers. It's nice that one can order the food at the pool. It's really delicious. The hotel offers transfer to the airport for a fair price and helps you in case of questions.

Loud air condition units next to the pool were a little bit annoying since one couldn't fully relax.

The hotel staff was very nice, they even spoke English, which was an advantage in a country like Thailand, where only a few people speak English. A special thanks goes to the hotel manager who helped me resolve the problem I had with the travel agency sitting in the hotel. I booked 2 trips, 1 was a scam, the other one was amazing. The hotel is very comfortable, nice staff, great food, great pool and drinks with Happy hours. The manager offered me an elegant and practical solution to compensate me for the problem caused by the travel agency that offers booking trips directly at the hotel. I really reconmend this hotel. The behavior of the gentleman who was selling the trips in the travel agency in the reception od the hotel, as I had some issues on the first trip. The second trip I booked through him was great, with a perfect guide. If you are in this hotel and want to book a trip, ask for a great guide Mr. Tui! You will definitely like him!
