I'm thankful to have stayed in a very nice room with a balcony and a view. It was clean and spacious, bed was so comfortable, and bathroom was always clean, too. Breakfast was good, more than enough choices, and with a view as it is upstairs. Location couldn't be better - being so close to the Gulhame tram station made it so easy for me to explore Istanbul. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Thanks to Yadigar, Atakan, and Gurkan for making my stay a pleasant one, and a special shoutout to Semra (I hope I spelled it correctly) for being so friendly and making recommendations as to where I can go, and where I can get tahin and pekmez! If I get the chance to return to Istanbul, I'd like to stay here again.

A lot of Istanbul's major tourist attractions are in walking distance. The tram station Gülhane is right around the corner where you can also load money on the Istanbul card. ATMs are located there as well. The station Sirceci is also in close walking distance. I didn't have any issues with the window in the room leading to a wall, no problem breathing during the night. The breakfast also had plenty options in my opinion. It got cleaned daily and every time I returned there were two new bottles of water in the fridge which was great. Staff was also always friendly and helpful towards me.

Not having the window closed I once woke up in the night hearing people from another room fight. So better keep the window close at night. I also have to join other reviews and say there's some stains on the carpet. I didn't have that much an issue with it though. Not directly at the hotel itself but as advice: The overall area is quite directed towards tourists. Hence, the prices in shops and restaurants are quite overpriced in comparison to local prices if you walk further away. Also, I personally found the street crossing at Gülhane sometimes quite dangerous cause it's a bit confusing and some drivers didn't know how to drive there.

Location, very friendly staff, nice breakfast and Aya Sofiya view from balcony at the breakfast place. Cosy boutique hotel. Hotel staff was very nice and helpful, we were offered tea and coffee for free upon arrival during the wait until our room is ready and we had early check-in, thanks Sude Konak staff!

We've booked room for 3 guests and the room was quite small for 3 people, but actually it was me not to pay much attention on a room size while booking, my advise is - see room photos and read room description thoroughly in order not to be surprised upon arrival. for this reason we had to move to another hotel with larger room.

The location is great, just nearby Gulhane tram station. Walking distance to Hagia Sofia and other attractions. A lot of restaurant and souvenirs shop nearby. Room is quite small but it is a common thing in Istanbul. Cleanliness of the room and toilet is good. Heating in the room is good. Staff are nice and helpful. Breakfast is good, the staff was very nice to serve us omeletts that we personally request. There are view of Bhosphorus strait and Hagia Sofia from the breakfast room.

The hotel is located in the heart of the city, just steps away from the iconic Aya Sofia and other popular attractions. The location made it easy to explore the city on foot or by using public transportation. The staff at the Hotel were polite and welcoming, and they were happy to offer recommendations. Overall, we would recommend Sude Konak to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay in the center of Istanbul.

The hairdryer in our room could have been of a higher quality and the bed sheets could have been changed more frequently.

The Hotel is very well locate one minutes from the Tram station(you don't have to go uphill) and close to the most popular places, The staff was happy to help, Everything was always clean and The restaurant in the terrace with the view of Hagia Sophia is so adorable , The breakfast was great , They offered us a free ride to the airport and we really appreciate it , We enjoyed our stay there it will always be my destination when I visit İstanbul again.

The most beautiful stay in Istanbul till now.Sude Konak is so beautiful,comfortable,nice hotel. I loved so much my room at the 4 th flour,full of sun and view on the Gylhane trees and Aya Sofiya.So warm and cozy room,pretty large.Miss my room.Breakfast was so rich,to choose a lot,adored black olives:) on the roof top,with view on the Bosphorus on the one side and magnificent Aya Sofia on other side. All was clean and tidy.Thank you for keeping room like that. And at the end....so dear(canim insanlar) people who works there,Atakan bey, who provide me,this beautiful room,always ready to help,who make excellent tea and coffee, it was always nice to talk with him, great professional man in this work,Gohkan,good and dear,sweet lady....forgot her name(ozur dilerim) and the others...thanks to them I felt so good in Sude Konak as I am at my home. Ozledim. Hersey icin cok tesekkurler. See you next year Insallah! And,I am not from UK,but Montenegro -Boka Kotorska bay .:)

I spent 15 days in the hotel with my family , everything was perfect , the location is great and close to tram and market. The staff was cheerful and very helpful. The continental breakfast was very delicious, we had it on the Terras on rooftop of the building with the amazing view to the bosphorus. Rooms are very clean and room service changes the towels and bed sheets everyday. Thanks to Mr Yadigar who gave us a free Airport Shutter on our arrival. Free Wifi with a very fast connection all over the hotel 24/7. Oh yes there is another Terras down on the street pavement covered with canopy , we used to sit there till after midnight drinking free tea and coffee and enjoying our night chats. I Recommend everyone who wants to enjoy his stay and holiday in Istanbul to book with Sude Konak hotel and im sure you will not regret it.

Great location near all the sights in the Sultanahmet area of Istanbul. Everything is within walking distance, including the bazaars. The staff at the hotel were super accommodating and helped us arrange an airport shuttle. The breakfasts were good and the rooftop terrace has an amazing view of the Hagia Sofia.

The bed in the budget room was pretty hard. But that’s literally my only complaint. I’m very glad I chose this hotel.

Great location, about 300 meters or 5 minutes walk from Hagia Sofia and Blue Mosque. The room itself was clean, they clean it every day. They change towels every day and sheets on the bed if u want to also. Our host in hotel SUDE KONAK, Yadigar Cam and the other guy (i forgot his name) were very helpfull. When we came first night we got room with window looking on the wall of other hotel, so they offered to change our room, so the guys on the reception tomorrow switched our room on other floor, so we had window with the view. Everything was like we arranged. Also, the transfer from airport to hotel, and back was like we arranged. Breakfast was great, a variety of choise of food, with nice view on Hagia Sofia. Cant wait to come again.
