The staff is super friendly and attentive. The room was big, clean and situated at the back of the building with a Bosporus view. The spa area with the sauna was perfect. Also i want to mention that the location was excellent!

The breakfast needs to be improved. First of all there is no variety. There is extra charge for some basic things like omelette and orange juice. Also it would be nice to be served in the terrace instead of the basement. Last but not least housekeeping ladies have to respect do not disturb sign (they entered in my room twice while i was sleeping) and avoid using the vacuum cleaner during the morning.

The staff were friendly and courteous. On the day of departure, we had to walk 5 minutes to the taxi because no taxis can stop in front of the hotel. The staff even carried our suitcases and found us a taxi driver.

The staff at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. They stored our bags while we explored then brought them to our room when we checked in. The room was very spacious and clean, well appointed with in-room ammenities and super comfortable. The pillows were lovely! Slightly noisy as our door was right next to the elevator, but this didn't bother us too much.

We used the Spa & Wellness centre facilities and booked a package for Hamman and Massage. My masseuse from Thailand was amazing and very thorough with great attention to detail, however my friend who booked exactly same package as me received a very different experience with nowhere the same level of service (all masseuses aren't made equal). The hygiene practices and organisation also left a lot to be desired too. And just a word of warning, there isn't a separate section for men and women - you're all sharing the same space which was a little uncomfortable for me.

We loved our time in this hotel. Warm, clean, comfortable rooms.It was a pleasure to come back there after the day of sightseeing. Free sauna and pool are great ending of the day especially if you travel in winter. The staff is friendly and willing to help in case you need something. Great location, it’s just 10 mins walking to the main mosques. Also there are train , tram stations and harbor is close by. So you are well connected and can travel to different parts of the city. The rooftop restaurant is also nice. Recommended!

The rooms aren’t really soundproof, for couple of nights we weren’t lucky with the neighbors, but after all it didn’t ruin the general impression of our stay. Breakfast had different options , but some dishes like salads would be nice to cover to keep them fresher , the presentation isn’t the best.

Location is superb, 5-15 minutes walk to most of the major attractions, and the Bosphorus river. Room size okay, and facilities excellent. Room clean, only down side was occasionally room items were not replinished, but a quick word with reception soon sorted any missed items. Breakfast was included in our room rate and although not a "full English" had a wide selection of foods including scrambled eggs and Turkish sausage. I know some people complain about the tram noise, but we never found it a problem ( you can hear them), but it just reinforced what a central location this is. Staff very friendly, would definitely stay here again. My top tip is book a private taxi from airport to the hotel, traffic in Istanbul is horrendous, and whilst public transport was clean and punctual, you really don't want to be using it after a long flight and with baggage.

The location was perfect, in center of everything. Taxi from airport to hote was really cheap. Staff, especially Davod at the Front Desk was amazing, really helpful and made sure we had everything during our stay. I would definitely go back!

The staff were all wonderful and very efficient. When my travel partner left her mobile phone in the cab, Orun (i hope i spelled his name right) was a great help and assisted in her getting her phone back. Apart from that everyone else from the reception staff to the porters were very kind and polite. Can helped us with our luggage to the cab on the final day (nice touch). All in all a very nice stay in a great location for tram and sightseeing. The roof top restaurant was very nice too with super views.

Breakfast would benefit from more hot options and the coffee could be better but that's according to my individual taste so others will have a different opinion.

An excellent stay in Orient Express and spa by Orka. The hotel is perfectly well situated, close to many sites and attractions. The staff is really wonderful, all very professional and kind. Many thanks to the staff at the reception who helped us with many things, very professionally and with a lot of patience, care and kindness. Many thanks to the people at the breakfast. The breakfast is excellent, with Turkish specialities. Many thanks to the people cleaning the room: again very kind and professional. We were really sad to see a number of clients being disrespectful with the staff (and also with other clients). A pity that they do not realize how nice and helpful everyone is at the hotel. For our part, a huge thanks to everyone. Many thanks to Hakan, Fatih, Onur, Olkay, Davut, Tolgahan, Ilker and Harika at the reception, Evin, Sonnur and Ömer for the breakfast, as well as those whose names we forgot. Many thanks also to the people at the rooftop restaurant. The Pino Gare restaurant is simply delicious, with a wonderful view on the Bosphorus. Many thanks to the people at the spa, and especially Seher. A great place to relax!

It was a great stay. The room was very charming. I was slightly afraid of the noise from the tramway as reported by other guests. But with the fan on, I was not bothered and it had no impact on my sleep. The spa and Hamman downstairs is small but clean and functional. Massage therapist was very professional. It was nice to have 2 restaurant within the hotel (nice of on the rooftop and a cafe next to the lobby). The staff was very helpful (e.i., advices, discounts for tours and spa treatments, help with taxi). I would totally recommend. In addition, the location was ideal and I was able to walk to all the main attractions in less than 15 min of pleasant walk.

Nothing comes to minds. I enjoyed everything of this hotel.

Location: Great location in downtown, very friendly staff. Breakfast: Loved the breakfast. Lots of varieties and range. Room: Could have been slightly bigger OR facility to keep extra bag in locker.

One of my family member slipped on wet floor on the stairs, fortunately injuries were not critical and did not impact our holidays but it could have been worst. Two suggestions: 1) During house cleaning, a sign board of wet floor could have helped. 2) The lights turns on / off based on motion sensor. This can be turned on, while cleaning is performed. It will help the future traveler from getting into similar situation. Please note, we did not report this incident to the reception.
