City Avenue Hotel

Location was good. Next building is lulu supermarket. Whatever you need you can find all there. Area was very safe. Hotel staff are very helpful, very kind and smiling face. Room was clean. Whatever you need they are bringing in 5 minutes. Airport just 10 minutes. Dubai mall 20 mins. Only marina little bit far. Mark can solve your all problems about your transport:) you can trust him. He was the best.

The location is ideal. Room clean. Plenty of food places available nearby. Taxi easily available. Even the hotel has its own means of transport that can booked for the same price as the taxis. Atms and money exchange close by. Breakfast good and with a good variety every morning. Staff very friendly, co-operative and a special thumbs up to Mr Shams who was beyond expectations.

Hotel Location is very good and close to the metro, clean and tidy and Hotel staff were friendly. I loved the smart buttons they have in each room for telling room service to (don't disturb or clean the room)

I had to pay 100 AED as a security Deposit, which never happened in any hotel before, they said that walls are soundproof, but everyday i was hearing the room next to me speaking out loud and every time when they go out and hit the door hard.

The hotel is very conveniently located close to supermarkets and restaurants. The staff is very friendly and respectful. The room has everything you would need for a comfortable stay

There was a light tobacco smell inside the room. The breakfast even though there was a wide variety, being served in single use plastic cups does make the experience inferior. Also, no gluten free options provided. There were some items in the buffet that were clearly not fresh.

Spacious rooms and corridors, all necessities were there for a comfortable stay, Breakfast was good and dinning area is stylish. Location is great in a lively neighbourhood with plenty of small shops and street food. Public transport is also widely available.

Due to the vicinity of the airport and the busy Dubai Air traffic this is not the quiet retreat you might be looking for. Make sure you remove the drain cover before shower otherwise you might flood the room.

All the staff were all exceptional, at check in Leonila and colleagues went above and beyond to accommodate my early check-in request and despite the hotel being in such great demand were able to check me in early, Sajid and Dereje qnd restaurant staff were respectful attentive and very kind. The bus stop is right at the entrance.....I really liked that

The area is a little busy but that is not necessarily a bad thing as Affordable great outlets are in the vicinity and I e joyed having access to those. The lounge/waiting area can be a little better Co siderimg how popular the hotel is, there's always lots of people waiting to be checked in. Also clarify beforehand that one needs to pay for the pay five get seven free breakfast, in order for it to work

The best part of the property was the location. It was right on the main road and getting taxis were easy. There were loads of good eateries downstairs and all around. It was also right next to Lulu center and pharmacy, so getting something on an emergency basis was super easy.

Though the room was clean enough and housekeeping did a good job everyday, the washroom had a few flies and insects. Had to call the housekeeping multiple times to use some chemicals or insecticide to get rid of them. This isn’t an experience you would expect for the tariff you are paying which definitely was on a higher side.
