Holiday Inn & Suites - Dubai Festival City Mall, an IHG Hotel

We really enjoyed this hotel for the following reasons: - location is great, there is a direct connection to the Dubai Festival Mall where you can find all shops and good restaurants (e.g. Cheesecake Factory, Fridays, PF Changs, Chili's etc) - Airport is not far (max 10 min by car) but no impact from planes - Dubai Mall/Burj Khalifa is only 8 min by car - Big hotel with restaurants and bar, but service is still very good. Room is cleaned good - They provided me with a connecting room with view which was great. Enough space for my family (2 parents + 3 kids) - Free parking below the hotel with direct lift to the room - Swimming pool available which is also heated All in all, this hotel was really good

Nothing actually, I was aware Dubai Marina is not nearby but by car it takes around 20 min

What I like more is the location of the hotel that it is attached to the dfc mall. Room is clean and spacious and all the staff were approachable. Special thanks to Ms. Yoon in the reception area, she is very nice and friendly. I requested for a room with a nice view and she gave me an upgraded room. Overall we are happy for our 2 days stay in the hotel.

All the facilities were exceptionally good except for the heated pool. It is already summer and very humid and you will not feel refresh if you want to swim. It is like swimming and you feel at the same time that you are sweating.

I stayed quite a few times at this property in the last couple of years. It's a great hotel, all staff is very friendly, well located next to a Festival City mall that you can access directly, just a 10minute drive to the airport and 10-15min drive to Downtown. There is also a great bar at the top where you can chill after in the evening. All in all it's a great hotel that I keep comming back to!

There is some kind of noise during the night. I'm not sure if it's a AC system noise or it comes from elevators or something else - but it's present and it affects the sleep quality. On the other side the internal noise is very low and I haven't had issues with noise from hallways, apartments next or above/below or noise from the bar or anything like that. But this noise is always present and is very anoyying. I hope that the management is aware of this issue and that it will be taken care of soon.

If there is more than 10 I would give this hotel . With the nature of my work I travel quite often , honestly speaking this place under rated , from location to the room condition and the main thing was the staff from the check in guys from memory his name Vivek to the restaurants like osama , murat and the chief sorry could not remember all names to the the security amr and the valet guys . Very rare you can see staff recently so friendly and professional their main task is to make sure feel comfortable. Honestly speaking I want to thank the hotel manager of her/his hard work you can see their touch with hotel staff , Very very impressed .

Only one thing change the water bottles in the room not easy open Can’t think of other things . One more thing more meat options for dinner :)

The stuff, parking, breakfast, very clean, the short distance to supermarket in the mall which is connected to the hotel, the small distance to Arena Dubai (6 minutes).

3 things: 1. The electricity in my side of the room was not worked after turning off the master key and specifically turning on the night-lamp and the charge unit, also the botton "do not disturb" was not work (twice). 2. The bathroom walls were high and feel risky for me (my hight is 165cm). 3. Also the price for launch per person is expensive in my opinion (~140AED), but after signing in as a membership its a bit reasonable.

The rooms are comfortable and clean. Beds are comfortable as well. The location is the best thing about this hotel especially the connected corridor to the festival city mall.

The lady receptionist and the lady duty manager at the check in weren’t very pleasant. The receptionist was slow and not friendly. The room service and housekeeping were VERY slow at every request I made. I had to leave the hotel at 6:30 am but the hotel told me that valet service only starts at 7 so I had to walk to the parking to get my car. While I don’t mind the walk I would’ve appreciated this piece of information while I checked in on the first night! When I asked for manager they told me that the manager starts his duty at 9 am. Really? So the hotel stays without a manager for few hours? I was disappointed with these two things as well as the check in and slow service.

The hotel is very comfortable and staff is friendly and hospitable. The crib for the baby was big enough for my one-and-a-half year old to sleep there, it’s a wooden one 😃 Room service was ok. If you need to go for a quick shopping or lunch, the mall connected to the hotel is quite convenient. Not to big, but has wide choice of stores and restaurants. Restaurants and bar at the hotel are also pretty good. Would come back!

The location itself is a bit off from downtown or the beach, but it depends on what you’re after. Also, it was a bit noisy, but it was New Years Eve so not really a day to look for quiet night 😃 but the fireworks I saw from the room were spectacular!

Nice hotel, very spacious rooms, comfortable beds, very nice shower (good water pressure, although temperature is a bit on and off). The breakfast was lovely and the staff there even more, Donna, Muslimbek and Dopesh were so friendly and helpful. Also all other staff were very friendly and always willing to help with a smile. Its close to Festival City mall. Good value for money

If you like the mall its ok, but there is nothing else around and you really need a car or taxi to get anywhere else. Pool is a bit small. One day we ordered food outside and didn't receive cutlery. We asked room service for some cutlery, but found out they would charge us for this. I feel this should be a small service that should not be charged. Eventhough connected to Festival City Mall, it still takes a good 5-10 minutes to reach the first shops.
