Loved the location down a country lane, 5 mins walk into town. Pleasant riverside walks, nice pubs with good food nearby and restaurants too. Millie welcomed us on arrival. Rooms just what we wanted, and opened on to pretty courtyard where breakfast was served in a modern cabin. Delicious continental breakfast, wide range of cereals , fresh berries, fruit juices, yogurt, croissants, toast etc Thoughtful variety of choices to suit everyone. Rooms were very comfortable and exceptionally clean. I will definitely stay here again in future , it is a good base for a weekend visiting Oxford , park and ride not far away, and Abingdon itself is also a lovely scenic town with riverside walks. Plenty of parking at property too.

Room 6 .. Suitable for a short break,lovely large bathroom , very comfortable bed. Tea/coffee facilities provided in room. Great location for getting into town, great for river walks.

The breakfast choices were disappointing, no hot food options, basically, the only choice was continental and the options available during my stay were very limited (IE: The plates were empty of pastries)! I hadn’t realised having stayed in the accommodation before that the hot food option was no longer available, didn’t seem to made clear in the advertising also.

I liked that we had to travel on public transport as our car was off the road, so it was great that Kingfisher provided a dog bed and bowls, saved a lot of luggage. I wish all 'dog friendly' accommodation did the same. Breakfast was lovely.

People in an adjacent room obviously had to make an early start and were up and about at 5 am-ish. There was quite a lot of noise from their bathroom which was next to ours. Soundproofing a bit lacking. Wouldn't have been a problem if they were up and about at a more normal time.

Delighted to have found this place, which is a bit of a gem. Super-peaceful, yet just 10 minutes walk to the town. We found a lovely 50-minute circular walk (with the dog) from the doorstep - paths through fields and then back along the banks of the Thames. The breakfast buffet had lots of good options. Room spotless. Staff all very helpful.

Nothing to say here - we are very satisfied customers (and doggo!) and would return enthusiastically.

Location and external courtyard were lovely. The breakfast arrangements were good, with cheerful staff on site to assist. The fact that the breakfast room was available during the day was a bonus

It was very hot the weekend we were there. A fan was provided but it was very stuffy in the room. The mattress on the bed was interior sprung and a bit old and tired. I felt it was over priced for size of room.

Loved how peaceful it was. Liked the courtyards and chairs and tables. Appreciated an arm chair in my room. Found Millie the manageress very helpful and patient when I phoned before my visit

I would prefer to have been told verbally at my first breakfast that my room would be made up only if I asked. I hadn't read the brochure because I didn't feel I needed to

one should be aware that the street leading to this accommodation is extremely dark at night (no street lights), going a few 100 meters next to fields. but if you're fine with that, everything is really good :)

Suggest shower mat. Breakfast finished early for a Sunday resulting in the breakfast cabin being crowded. No cooked breakfast

had a brilliant stay, great location, property was clean and comfortable. check in process was very easy and staff were helpful and polite. breakfast was great and lovely courtyard area to sit in, will definitely return!

Some of the items at breakfast were running short and needed to be replaced. The toaster didn't work properly and the member staff on duty didn't seem to want to help..That could have been improved on..
