White Hart Hotel

Very friendly staff. Room was cozy and clean. Quite large actually with lot of space. Beds were very comfy. Fully stocked with towels and coffee/tea station. Good shower pressure. Food was very good also.

Wrong toilet seat attached so lid didn’t stay up without some sort of intervention (we used tape). Water was not temperature regulated so went from just right with spots of too hot or too cold periodically. I’m sure just byproduct of the age of the property. Not a problem just not right.

Lovely friendly staff, and clean fresh rooms in a historic building, so it was characterful too. The bed was very comfortable and the room very quiet. We slept really well. The food was also very good. We particularly enjoyed the excellent prawn cocktails at dinner. Breakfast was very generous and delicious with local produce. The bacon was especially good.

I wasn’t too keen on the (customer’s) large dog in the bar, but as we were eating we had a table in the restaurant, so this really didn’t affect us.

This is an old building that has been maintained to a high level. An old coaching Inn in a small town located in the main street. Dinning is in a seperate area from the main bar area that is popular with regular drinkers And has a good ambience throughout. The large bedroom was located on the second floor with a tight flight of stairs on the first to second floor. All in all a very comfortable stay with willing and helpful staff.

location was great, easy to get to all the places we were visiting over the weekend. bedroom was well presented. staff were attentive. the food was delicious! the fish curry absolutely top tier

the bathroom in room 18 could do with a good deep clean. limescale around the taps, the bath panel rotting and falling to bits, the rubber on the shower screen black mould. and the grout dirty. also the shower is freezing took 20-30 minutes to heat up both mornings.

Everything. The staff are very helpful and pleasant The place is a great pub and excellent value. We had a good room everything worked , the bed was great . The evening meal was just right and breakfast was presented and served perfectly. We will be back . Not a fancy hotel a great pub and a great place to stay. With excellent parking. Thanks to all the staff . Oh and a great location for the thames path .

I always stay at the White Heart. It is always enjoyable and welcoming. The food is amazing, the staff are great. Rooms meets my needs; they are always clean and tidy. The White Heart is my preferred choice for accommodation when visiting my depot in Cricklade.

The only point I have is that there are no electric charge points for EVs. If there were it would make my stay so much easier. I also don't have an issue if it's a pay-as-you-go system just to have the option would be a great help.

We loved the town of Cricklade and our wonderful stay at the White Hart Hotel. We were able to get two nights on a busy holiday weekend off the beaten path in the Cotswolds and were very glad we stayed. The staff and room were both fabulous. We recommend the hotel highly.

No screen on window and our room was over the outside dining area. It was a little loud until closing time.

It’s and old hotel but rooms have been modernised and decorated, the bed large and comfortable. The location was perfect for walking to the nature reserve nearby and visiting the pub down the road for an excellent pint of beer. We were meeting up with friends walking the Thames Path for the evening so not sure what the evening meal would have been like but breakfast was freshly cooked to order and extremely good

Our bathroom was ensuite but up some stairs - we always worry about missing our step when visiting the loo in the middle of the night (getting old sadly)

Location within the town, very friendly and helpful staff. Down stairs guest areas were very pleasant and traditional and all areas were clean and well maintained. The rooms were comfortable and again very clean. Great food especially the breakfast. A traditional high street with non chain shops, which were run by lovely people, would liked to have stayed longer and explored more

Not a lot! The rooms were a little cramped and would have appreciated another pillow each.

Staff extremely friendly and helpful, room was a good size. Extra heating was provided for the super-cold weather, with extra blanket so we were nice and warm. Nice friendly pub downstairs with good menu for dinner in the evening, although several other restaurants available a short walk away.
