I travel a lot for work and this is by far the best B&B I’ve ever had the pleasure of staying at. I came to the area for 4 nights to house hunt - here is a list of pros: > The location is quiet and peaceful, surrounded by greenery and horses, yet you can easily access the main routes to the surrounding areas you may wish to visit with Stonehenge and Salisbury only a 30 min drive away. > The room was more than ample for my needs and I was even given soya milk everyday for my cuppas! The room was spotless clean and the bed very comfortable - so comfortable that I didn’t want to get out of it in the morning! > The breakfast is outstanding. They catered to my meat free needs and all their ingredient are locally and ethically sourced and of excellent quality; you must try the eggs laid by their own rescue chickens. > Caroline and Colin are such great hosts. Nothing is too much trouble and they make you feel part of the family within minutes of arriving. I was especially touched when they bought me a birthday card as it was my birthday during my stay. I’m moving to the area so might not need to stay again but I will highly recommend the B&B to friends and family who come to visit me and I might stay myself just so I can have the delicious breakfast again.

Nothing - I don’t know how anyone can complain about anything here.

Omg I wanted it all, but what I did have was excellent. The home made jam and marmalade was the best I’ve ever tasted. The location was absolutely stunning, I really need to go back and explore a little more.

Nothing it was all good from the welcoming, to my room, I’ve never stayed in a b&b before so I was a little unsure if it would be as good as a five star hotel, it was in fact better, I didn’t feel like I was in a bedroom with a door number.

The host is absolutely lovely, so helpful and friendly. The breakfast was phenomenal, you get a choice of breakfast each morning to be made fresh and it was delicious, I already miss the pancakes. The rooms are sweet and have everything you need. The farm is beautiful. It is a 20 minute drive from a number of places you can visit for example Stonehenge and Lacock Abbey. We’ll definitely stay again if we are in the area.

The only thing that might help is a sign at the end of the driveway, we were worried as we were driving up that we were at the wrong place and were heading into a private farm.

The farm is located in a very beautiful location. Caroline is absolutely nice and she doesn't hesitate to give you hints and guidance about exploring the area. The house is very nicely decorated and feels cozy. The breakfast room is absolutely delightful and the food is very delicious. Hint: Google map doesn't lead to the exact location of the farm. However, they send you an explanation of how to find the farm via email.

Caroline's hospitality is friendly and easy, but this might disguise how thoroughly professional it is. She has thought of absolutely everything for the comfort and safety of her guests: nothing is neglected, from exactly what to offer for breakfast to a thermos of fresh milk daily in your room, and a torch to light you across the yard. The house is beautiful and extremely comfortable. I've seldom been so well cared for in a B&B. Thank you!

Beautiful setting, the two little Shetland pony’s Toffee & Fudge were adorable. Its perfect location, very relaxing set in the countryside but close to all amenities. Caroline & her husband were very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast menu had a list of delicious options which included vegan & vegetarian. Would highly recommend and we would definitely like to return for another stay.

The choice for breakfast was exceptional. All freshly cooked to order and wholesome. I chose something different every morning. The location was perfect for me. Quiet and peaceful with plenty of beautiful birdsong. Ideal for visiting places of interest.

I can honestly say that there was nothing to dislike. The facilities in my single room were very good. Fresh water and milk to make drinks were provided every day, a real bonus. The ensuite bathroom had a large shower and a heated towel rail.

The host Caroline was amazing, she made us feel so comfortable showing us all facilities. She also booked us a local pub for dinner. The breakfast was lovely, loved the Potterne pancakes and toast. The cottage is very retro with lots of collectibles. It was snowing and the room was so warm, the bathroom tiles had floor heating. The outside area is lovely, there are couple of ponies and vast farm around. Ideal for our sore city eyes. Very friendly host and comfortable stay. The location is remote and there are few pubs around. If you have a car you can drive to Devizes or other areas for pub food. We dined at George and Dragon on Day 1 and Fox and Hounds on Day 2.

The pillows could have been little harder and firm for me, as I dont have a comfort with very feathery pillows but this is totally a personal preference.

Breakfast was amazing, as was the welcome we received, and our hosts for whom nothing was too much trouble. Caroline even found the gloves I managed to lose and has put them in the post to me. Everything was exceptionally clean and our room was serviced to a very high standard each day.

Our bedroom was lovely but seemed just a little bit cosy for the four-poster bed. That wouldn’t put us off booking again, though. The WiFi was a bit flaky in the room largely, we think, due to the very thick walls but it was excellent in the sitting room just outside our bedroom so we were able to do all we wanted, including have our usual weekly family zoom session.
