Great value, good location

Disabled Parking. 5 spaces next to entrance. 3 of the 5 were holding cars with no disabled badge. I had to walk (with my disability) the full length of the parking lot. When I checked in I was asked if I had parked a car, and had to register the car's registration number at reception. I suggested that receptionist should ask, at the same time, "have you used a disabled place". If "yes" is answer, then ask if the have a badge. {Please make same suggestion to all hotels managements. This is becoming a huge problem in today's world, in which no one seems to give a damn about anyone else!

Loved the location very close to Salts Mill, which we visited later that morning. Parking was good, the room and bathroom were comfortable and clean, the bed and pillows extremely comfortable. It was a bit warm in the room - perhaps we should have asked for a fan. Also carpet in the room was stained and dirty looking.

I thought the breakfast was ok at best. Everything one could want was there, but the quality was average: the sausages were hard and overcooked, as was the scrambled egg. Some cheese was left uncovered and ended up dried out. It was all edible, but a bit over priced at £12 for what one got.

The location was excellent as I’d come to visit Salt Mill and Harlow Carr gardens. Loved the large room and sofa so that both of us could sit somewhere separate to the bed. Lovely view was a bonus. Everywhere was clean, the bed was comfortable and there were plenty of places to store or hang clothes.

There was an unpleasant smell when we entered the room (possibly cleaning products). The room was cold and it took a while to work out how to use the heater as there were no instructions. Also there were no instructions in general or information about check out or breakfast. Otherwise I was very happy.

love the location by the canal- I also had a canal view room which I requested. staff helpful & friendly. could be a really fab hotel- if up graded a bit.

budget hotel but not budget prices! £109 for the night - ok rooms a good size but in need of an upgrade.tv is tiny, stains on floor & sofa & just generally tired! ok for £50-£75 a night not £109! plus check out before 12noon but we were disturbed three times with housekeeping coming in the room randomly through out the morning!

friendly and helpful staff - and allowed in a bit earlier than check in time to receive a call. Good location close to Shipley rail station for travel to Leeds - and a walk along the canalside or road to Saltaire and Salts Mill - and a short distance from shops / banks / eating places in Shipley. Good buffet breakfast choices with fresh fruit / fruit salad/pastries and rolls / mashed avocado plus usual cooked breakfast items. Easy parking outside the hotel. Didn't eat supper at the hotel but the Tapas Tree and Waterfront restaurant's very close by and plenty of other choices in Shipley & Saltaire plus Leeds and Bradford with a 10 minute train journey

Its in an retail / commercial park - so the usual noise from other occupiers- motorbike showroom/ lorries at night etc - but nothing difficult as the windows block out most noise.

The main purpose of my stay at the Ibis was to visit my son and two granddaughters, who live locally. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. It was one granddaughter's ninth birthday. We were allowed to have a small birthday party on the premises with cake and candles etc. It was enjoyable for all concerned and the hotel staff were very supportive.

There was nothing I didn't like. Any very minor issues were dealt with quickly and efficiently by the hotel reception and room cleaning staff. The room cleaning staff were particularly helpful.

Room was clean, good value. Breakfast was nice and fairly priced Staff were very friendly and welcoming

Dog friendly hotel - lovely this is available but we booked a family room with a 4 year old child and our room was on same floor as a number of dogs one of which barked and cried for over an hour in the early hours of the morning. Not the hotels responsibility but I would suggest maybe place families with small children who travel without a dog in a seperate part of hotel where possible.

The hotel is comfortable. The staff are friendly. The price is excellent value for money. Location is great. We stayed for the Bingley Festival. Free bus shuttle available, although taxi is only about seven pound. Close to Saltaire village, a must see for anyone visiting the area. Lots of nice bars and restaurants. Perfect base for exploring Shipley, Bradford and Bingley. For value and convenience would recommend and will be staying again.

Have stayed here several times but now feel mattresses or toppers could do with replacing.

Wonderful, hard working staff - nothing was too much trouble. The room was light and airy, spotlessly clean and with opening opening windows (hurray). It was well equipped with a hairdryer, tea and coffee making facilities and a complimentary pack of biscuits - none of these were expected with hotel being described as 'budget'. Good quality linens. An excellent selection at breakfast with dishes topped up continually by staff.

The evening meal was of a very poor quality and did not match up to everything else at the hotel. A comfortable chair in the room would have been welcome for a guest with health issues.
