We were there for only one night because we had a very early flight. It's apparently often used by people with early flights from Leeds Bradford airport, which is an easy 20-minute walk away (or a short bus ride). It was clean, comfortable, generically decorated, just a standard useful hotel in a convenient location. The lady who checked me in was very friendly and helped carry luggage upstairs, which was very nice.

The food was relatively bland and there was a village fete in the field right behind the pub, so there was pounding music and screaming until quite late, but this wasn't their fault, of course. So we didn't really have enough of an experience to judge one way or another. It was fine.

Area was good easy find room excellent and clean with everything you needed for a good nights rest before you fly. Bed very comfortable. And Yorkshire teabags.

Some staff need a little more customer care training. Came in and just turned the sky Tv over with no expansion Food was wrong that arrived, gammon n egg with no gammon!! Had to share husband’s until mine arrived. Clearing tables when someone has not finished is a no and poor service in my opinion. Private ruby function was on but still need to treat all customers the same.

The room was clean and comfortable the decor was to a good standard. We were impressed with the size of the room and the bathroom was modern with a nice shower.

We thought the towels were a bit thin and fraying at the edges and did not reflect the quality of the room. We marked down value for money as two mornings the heating didn’t come on, having mentioned it to staff on two occasions and on the third morning the radiator was barely warm so for all of our stay it was cold getting up in a morning and showering.

This was a surprise. We did not expect to find such a great place for just a one night stay. It's just a short train ride to other big cities and it's near the airport. We walked to a park, and we watched a soccer game outside under an open area they have for a sports bar. We will definitely come back if given the chance. A bonus for us was the meal. We thought we'd died and gone to heaven. That was one of the best meals anywhere we have ever had.

There was absolutely nothing that was unfavorable about this hotel/restaurant.

Great hotel. The bed was amazingly comfortable! We stayed before an early flight from Leeds Bradford airport. Super quick to get to the there in the morning. Literally 5 mins. The only thing I would say is that it was noisy on the night so didn't get much sleep beforehand. We were up at 2 o clock in the morning. Didn't eat there but the food did look amazing and it was busy so must be nice.

The noise on the night but it was to be expected really as it's a pub too.

Fantastic little hotel/pub. Only stayed 1 night due to having an early flight the next day. Staff were extremely friendly, check in was straightforward, we arrived early however this was no problem and the young lady took us to our room. Our room was in the loft space, it was very clean and spacious, hot drink making facilities including a free bottle of water. The back beer gardens overlooked a cricket ground, we enjoyed watching a game whilst having a beer. Within walking distance there is shops, pubs, takeaways and restraunts. It is a lovely little village to have a stroll around. The hotel is within short distance to the airport. We enjoyed the Sunday roast and homemade puddings, despite being busy with people eating and drinking the service was prompt and atmosphere was relaxing.

The staff were very friendly and polite. The room were spotless... very clean indeed with all the usual amenities, tea, coffee, hairdryer, plenty of hanging space and a good shower. Bar food was good, Butternut and chilli soup was excellent.... though should use real butter. As it was Bonfire night, the place was buzzing, great family atmosphere for the evening display. If you're after a nice beer the Brew House keeps a great pint.

The price. £96 was steep and at that price would've expected breakfast to be included

Despite the fact that it was after 11.00pm when we arrived we were greeted warmly and made to feel welcome. The landlady came and chatted to us whilst we had a drink which was nice. Although there was an event at the hotel which was in full swing whilst we were there you couldn't hear anything in the room. We would have loved a breakfast.

I didn't have breakfast but I wish I had had chance to try the restaurant. The food on the menu sounded delicious. Room was very clean and comfortable. Free Wi-Fi. Very convenient for the airport.

Since I arrived late, the restaurant was approaching closing time, it would be great if one could order sandwiches ahead and add them to the bill. Other than that, it's a very pleasant hotel and I would definitely stay again

A wonderful greeting from the staff as soon as we entered the property. We checked in and were taken straight to our room…which was freshly decorated and beautifully clean. After leaving our bags in the room we went downstairs for food…which was delicious. We were given the option to have a room tab which is great and hardly get offered in our stays elsewhere. In the morning we checked out and went for a walk around the Tarn just behind the property…to come back to the property for midday, just in time for Sunday lunch…which was unreal, Roast chicken breast, carrots, braised red cabbage, green beans, Yorkshire pud and fluffy roast potatoes. It was such a tasty meal.
