The White Hart Hotel

The room and bed were great if a little warm, and security codes to the accommodation were great and easy from a public area which is reassuring. The bar area was clean and the staff were very welcoming and friendly. The general bar noise was not too bad and the bed was huge and very comfortable so managed a great sleep. A little corner chair would be helpful.

The only issue, as the room was warm due to the weather, the windows opened onto the road, so you could not open them as it was extremely noisy not just with traffic and revellers going outside until late, past 12 pm. There was no food being offered as the restaurant does not have a chef until the weekends. Difficult to park as only the roadside is available, but there are some side streets close by.

I was attending a wedding in the local area and needed a very late check in. They were fine for me to check in any time before 12 pm. The room was exactly as described and as the pictures. I found it to be clean and had everything I could need. complimentary toiletries, biscuits and tea and coffee. The bed was very comfortable and the area was relatively quiet. You couldn’t get breakfast at the hotel but I just took a short walk in to the town and there were a few places to choose from. It was a good value for money pub/ hotel for one night.

Room was basic but for the length of our visit was fine, on the plus side was able to get breakfast this visit as was at weekend and it was very tasty .

Unfortunately the toilet seat was a little wonky and shower didn’t work great but did cope with it and was able to use other facilities on premises as with it being bank holiday couldn’t get a plumber .

room was clean, well kept and updated. location was ideal as we had business at a school nearby

the room was a little cold as the windows are older/single glazed. once the heater kicked in it warmed up. it was snowing that night so of course it was colder than usual!

We didn't eat breakfast on the second day as there were not sufficient staff due to Covid problems. The manager wasworking his socks off and was clearly stressed, working late at night and then back again for early breakfast.

I loved the room - really comfortable - the tap was dripping and so my friend left to stay elsewhere on the second night. It didn't bother me ,I'm deaf!

Clean & comfortable, pleasant atmosphere. Staff helpful and welcoming.. close to town.

No dedicated parking. But you can park on the road. No breakfast included in pry. Could easily be resolved by providing a goody breakfast basket.

Generally I like it. just a bit basic the coded entry and corridors to the room. but a small thing.

Great room well presented clean and tidy. Modern decoration and brilliant shower room Tea and coffee in room too. Based in a lively pub with a great atmosphere. Staff excellent especially Katie who made us feel very welcome. Would highly recommend

Intermittent WiFi but not a major complaint

Room was very nice. Bathroom was bigger than expected. Was expecting a fried breakfast but got none only offer continental breakfast but found that it was a bit pricy for what was offered in deal.

No fry up breakfast. Cook away.

Absolutely lovely atmosphere in the rooms, seems they were recently refurbished. Very pleasant stay, very clean and quiet, we can highly recommend
