Breakfast room was nice and airy and tables were laid nicely and vacated tables cleared promptly. The breakfast was a buffet style with a large choice of options. The fresh fruit and yoghurt was nice and I had some of the healthier options on the hot aisle such as mushrooms, tomatoes, beans and scrambled egg. I certainly felt like I had a hearty breakfast but being buffet you could certainly eat loads if desired! There was plentiful free parking and I would definitely stay again and hopefully allow more time to explore the estate and use the swimming pool etc. Unfortunately we arrived quite late in the evening and had to leave after an early breakfast due to catching a flight from Gatwick.

Nothing in particular - our room was modern but the furnishings in the bathroom and the carpet in the bedroom looked a bit tired. All fine for what we needed though.

Hotel is set in lovely grounds, nice to have a walk around and next door to beautiful Horsley Towers. Attentiveness of staff exceptional both prior to & during stay. I had mistakenly booked the wrong dates when initially booking. I contacted the hotel just 24 hours before my stay and they were able to amend the dates with no change to cost. Shortly after checking in to my room I identified an issue with the electrics in the room. They were able to move me immediately & without fuss, keeping me in a neighbouring room to the rest of my party. We must've got lucky with timings as we had the pool to ourselves for the majority of time we used it. It was warm & clean, ideal for kids. Reception also arranged a local taxi for a local dinner reservation. Breakfast buffet selection was very good.

Rooms are a little tired, they could use an update. In the absence of air-con (AC) they provided fans. Whilst they have smart TVs they didn't have the option to link to smart devices. The changing facilities around the swim / leisure area were fine but small. Not a fault / issue of the hotel but if you require a local taxi I would suggest booking in advance. Whilst Uber appears to work I couldn't get a driver. The local firm arrived quickly but a 3 mile journey cost £15, so it's not exactly cheap. All of the above didn't really take away from the enjoyment of my stay.

Paid extra for breakfast as not included in the room, but this was expected and the service and quality of the food was very good. The room was lovely, and had everything you would expect The staff were exceptional. I had a couple of random requests for things to do in the local area and either the answers were immediate or there was a bit of research done by the staff - never received a "We can't help with that"

Nothing to dislike - I did make one assumption that is my own doing ... I was not aware that I was booking into a room in the conference centre/hotel. Due to images on the site I thought we would be staying in the estate house, but this is seemingly reserved for functions like weddings. To be fair, the price we paid it would have been the bargain of the century to have accomodations in such a grand and lavish building.

The hotel is set in beautiful grounds and a nice part of the country. There is a lot to see and do in the area. It is a big conference hotel, so don't expect boutique but that said, it has been a great place to stay, and one I would come back to. Staff were super helpful and put us in a very quiet room away from a larger conference group. The room was like the picture when booking: contemporary furnishings and well equipped. Very comfy bed and a nice bathroom. The hotel also has a well equipped gym and a nice size pool which were available to use before out room was ready. The breakfast was very good, and the hotel has refreshment drinks areas throughout the complex. Nice to have another cuppa and then sitting in one of the many courtyars to read the papers.

The changing rooms and lockers in the gym and pool area need refurbishment. They look tired and not as clean and fresh as the rest of the hotel. Housekeeping does not automatically keep an eye on keeping hand sanitizers and wipes topped up in the gym area.

room - having been moved to another room after requesting a different room we were extremely happy with the new location. large king bed and the views stunning over the firlds whilst sipping morning coffee in bed. We must thank Levette for this at reception. resturant - the breakfast was lovely, Full choice and all food hot. The location of the room was good too especially as there were a large amount of groups in attendance, everyione was catered for.

having 'barracked' the bed as we always do in hotels we stay at, we noticed that the mattress protector was stained .... mmmm. Obviously we didnt see this prior to our nights sleep as we are not part of the '4 in a bed' telly programme.

Have to own up: for some unknown reason, we were upgraded to the Towers, where all the best rooms are. So, given the modest price we paid, we received an exceptional night's stay. The Towers is an extraordinary mid-19th century, neo-Gothic Earl's residence. Rooms and bathrooms are spacious, the architecture is grand, there is a lake and acres of grounds. A kindly member of staff let us see the extraordinary "cloisters" and chapel. Excellent value breakfast, where - unlike so many hotels these days - there were plenty of staff and service was sharp and efficient.

Friendly staff who go out of their way to assist you, large selection of tasty food that is good value with an easy self service counter. Hotel operates seamlessly for the business customer.

Two members of waiting staff did not have sufficient training to understand how to operate in a restaurant. Marching up and down whilst staring at the ceiling is more akin to the military, than the hospitality industry! When you do need something, i.e. a fork or condiment, they are turning around or facing the wrong way. This is both frustrating for the customer and also ruins the relaxing aspect of the dining experience.

Really quite a beautiful main set of buildings in the estate connected together in a way that makes it feel like a single building. The old mansion does not seem to be in use, but is fun to walk through. It was the main home of Lady Lovelace, the woman who wrote the first computer algorithm in 1835. Coming from a computer background that was particularly interesting to discover. The food was very good and an excellent variety. Plenty of places to relax; good meeting rooms, and a large restaurant. Nice grounds to walk on.

Our safe was working in the room. Otherwise everything was fine.

Located in the rural Surrey countryside and a good base from which to explore the south. Also half an hour by train to central London. Pretty grounds and walking distance to the village. Nice layout with pool, gym, bar, restaurant. Took advantage of a great buffet dinner and the next morning a buffet breakfast. The staff were superb - with a shout out to the many easy going Aussie expats working there.

The room (basic double) and bathroom are a little on the small side - the shower reminded me of most Paris hotels - but perfectly fine for a stay of a couple of nights.

We were given a complimentary upgrade with our rooms, which were very comfortable. We took all our meals on the terrace, enjoying the warm, sunny weather. The restaurant staff were thoughtful in offering this opportunity and prepared the table quickly and efficiently. The menus provided good choices; the meals were good and our waiter was excellent. The grounds were amazing with a variety of walks. Clear maps of the indoor and outdoor areas were very helpful. Reception staff were efficient, cheerful and helpful despite being busy for much of the time. A great weekend!
