The staff was fantastic and very friendly and polite. The family rooms were roomy and clean and excellent layout as we had two rooms facing each other which was great as two families came together. Main bed was very comfy. Plenty of towels enough for all staying. Breakfast was amazing.

The bathroom had no extraction and was very very hot when entering prior a shower with the constant radiator on all day it seemed and even stuffier after a shower with the steam. And one of the spare beds was a little worn and creaky and dipped in the middle which my son found very uncomfortable but this is an easy fix and wouldn’t deter me to come again

We had a fabulous stay at Dormy House Hotel. The staff were all very friendly and polite they couldn't do enough to make our stay comfortable and pleasurable. Our room was clean and of a high standard. Luxury soft towels and plenty of hot water. I was very pleased to have green tea in the room. The outside patio is a great place to have a relaxing drink and chill even on a warm wet evening. It over looks the sea 🌊 too. Breakfast was very plentiful. A great variety on offer. Catering for my GF needs. We loved it so much we booked a second night 🌙 Thanks everyone, We will definitely be returning 😊

The outside drive needs attention. It's very bumpy and uneven when driving to the car park which is situated towards the back of the hotel.

Location of property was stunning, with beautiful views of the sea. Ample free parking. Nice touch was that we arrived early and the hotel made every effort o get us in our rooms without extra charges. Bar was excellent and food menu extensive and well presented. Room was quiet, spotlessly clean with everything you needed. We stayed in Room 107 and it even had a walk in wardrobe. Late night bar was open when we returned from our event. NOTHING was too much for the staff. Breakfast was outstanding, vast choice, beautifully cooked including Grilled Kippers, Avocado on toast, etc. Better than most other hotels I have ever stayed at. Would not hesitate to return or recommend to others. We even met the owner at breakfast who chatted away with us as if we had had known each other for years. Steve Brundle, if you read this it was true pleasure to stay at your fantastic Hotel. Thank you

We only stayed for one night!

THE LOCATION WAS AS ALWAYS SUPERB .. THE BREAKFAST WAS EXCELLENT. THE ROOM AND FACILLITIES WERE EXCELLENT.. IT WAS NICE TO MEET JUNE ,YOUR STAFF MEMBER .WHO WAS WITH YOU WHEN WE FIRST STAYED 17 YEARS AGO. GOOD TIME HAD BY ALL.

WE WERE QUITE SURPRISED THAT THE MANGER WHO WE CHATTED WITH GAVE US THE IMPRESSION THAT WE COULD SIT ANYWHERE FOR OUR ! PRE BOOKED ! LUNCH. SADLY ,WE WERE MOVED BY A MEMBER OF THE WAITING TEAM FROM THE BREAKFAST SEATING AREA TO THE RESTARAUNT AREA, WHERE WE DINED . UNFORTUNATELY, WE ORDERED TEA AND WERE SERVED WITH A COFFEE !! OTHERWISE ALL WAS GOOD. WE HOWEVER DO NOT KNOW IF OUR GUESTS TOOK A DIM VIEW OF THE PROBLEMS.

The room was nice and comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. The location to both Sheringham and Cromer was about equal with regular a bus that only cost £2.00 each way. Quality of breakfast was very good.

The toilet seat was loose and the shower didn't seem to have a door Service breakfast was a little slow and didn't have the full range continental breakfast that was in the menu (no pastries the 1st morning and only croissants the 2nd). There was noise from other guests we were warned about before but didn't realise how much we would be disturbed..

A beautiful location and spent a couple of hours each day walking on the beach and the cliff tops, even though the weather was a tad iffy! Very comfortable room, although the wooden floors cause a bit of noise in the lower levels and people releasing gas in the bath is a bit of a turn off. I would definitively return for a second stay with my wife the next time.

The breakfast was way more than I could eat so settled for a smaller breakfast the next day. My last day however was ruined by the attitude of a grumpy chef/cook after I had arranged for a bacon sandwich the previous day with reception. I was told by reception that it would be ready at 7am the next morning. At 7am there was no sandwich and an enquiry elicited a rather grumpy reply. As I had planned to leave at 7am and my bags were packed, to leave at 7:20 left a bad taste in my mouth. The sandwich itself was far from exciting as well!. If you are going to offer a take away breakfast, maybe you should have it ready on time and put a little more effort into it.

Great location - easy walk to West Runton beach. Breakfast was good, all hot food cooked to order. Wonderful terrace with windbreak overlooking the sea. Parking excellent. Staff helpful after I refused to accept the room initially allocated - this room was up a very steep, narrow flight of stairs - I am 81!!

The bathroom was adequate but could have done with updating, the bedroom itself had been redecorated well. See above comment for initial room allocation.

Pleasant location and sea views, especially from the conservatory. Easy 6/8 minute walk to coastal path. Enjoyed the fact that we could sit in conservatory or bar area at any time and enjoy refreshments. Friendly staff. Quiet environment throughout the night. Very comfortable bed, pillows and duvet. Clean bedroom and bathroom. Excellent coffee and also good breakfast, served nicely hot.

No restaurant sign and therefore despite booking for restaurant, we dined in the bar area. A patron sat at the bar all evening, talking to and often distracting the bar staff. (I must stress that the staff did not encourage this situation) Sealant around bath/ shower screen in our room should be replaced.

We found the service, particularly the 2 ladies in the restaurant on Thursday evening to be very good as was the food We found the hotel to be clean, a lovely view of the sea I have already recommended the hotel to friends of ours as they are dog owners

that brings me to the only down side. I do not like dogs in hotels or bars. We do not not like dogs but a time and a place is our opinion. I certainly do not like the idea of dogs staying in rooms To be awoken at 06:30am in the morning by a dog yapping in the next room was not good as well as others outside our window Unfortunately their presence also in the bar the night before and this took the edge of our stay

Staff were very friendly and approachable, they made sure me and my 4 year old son were well looked after. Location is great. Food was lovely and the terrace was a great place to look out over the sea. Loved the menu too and breakfast. A massive thank you, for making us feel so welcome; it's not always easy as a single mum going places on your own and you. Ade it enjoyable. We'd love to come back and stay for longer next time

Some bits in the room e.g. sheets were stained, but that's an easy fix. Other guests were noisy, but again that's not really the hotel's issue.
