Ralph's

As I cycle all British and Irish islands with my Brompton folding bicycle, i had to store them somewhere. As Ralph's has a courtyard, that was as easy as pie. Exceptional premises, beautifully restored. Very clean. Very friendly, courteous and helpful staff. I decided to extend my stay for one more night until Monday. Worked like a charm. Lynne was most helpful with this. This place is a jewel in a sea of bling! Thank you for making my stay a brease. Cheers, Dag from Cologne/Germany

Lovely house with stunning décor and a real sense of elegance and warmth. The bedroom and the bathroom were huge, bright and clean, the bed was very comfortable and the breakfast an absolute delight, delicious just made pancakes and all one could desire. Hugely recommended!

Moria train station is a good 20 min walk from the main street (where Ralph's is), and whereas by day it's a nice stroll in the middle of the countryside, at night you are in the dark until you make it to Moria, so keep this in mind if you are planning to use public transport - I did it anyway and all was good.

I was expecting that the hotel would be a little run down and thought the fact that there would no staff when I arrived could present problems. As it was the room & the hotel was immaculate and it was an easy to get in with the code I was sent by email. The staff were particularly helpful and friendly.

Can't think of anything. Even though they didn't do food in the evening they are conveniently placed between restaurants and gastro pubs.

We arrived early and lynne and the staff were very helpful in sorting out our room, which had the comfiest bed we have slept in apart from our own. The breakfast was a superb feast from the continental buffet style with fresh croissants to the traditional Ulster fry cooked breakfast ( my favourite). Our room at the rear of the property was great, very vlean and well stocked with tea/ coffee etc. The staff ( Marianna especially were so welcoming and helpful, Lynne has a great crew looking after her guests . I would not stay anywhere else on our next visit. 5 stars all round.

Really nice location,lovely staff and lovely house. Moira is a lovely village for restaurants, shops and walks. Really enjoyed it.

Just needed an extra bit of thought on cleaning. Tea / coffee stand needed a spruce up. Toilet seat moves when sat on. Shower screen/bath bit of a let down also. Easily fixed and didn’t take away from a lovely house and atmosphere for a nice night away

Breakfast was perfectly cooked to order. Hot, fresh and no waste as they only prepare what you ask for. The room was immaculate, clean and spacious with very nice boutique interior design. And the staff that looked after us each morning were friendly and approachable - nothing was too much trouble for them and they took so much pride in their work.

The two minor points I'd suggest would be making the wifi code a lot easier to find, especially for those who arrive late when there are no staff on site. Also, slightly larger towels would be good, especially in the family room and would have made our stay perfect. But these are only tiny details of an otherwise wonderful experience.

The breakfast had lots of choice and was served on time. The room was very clean although no desk to work on at an evening but there were tables throughout the building. The whole building was very clean.

There wasn't anything that I didn't like about this property

Being contacted directly by the property encouraging me to cancel my booking and book directly with them so they didn't have to pay commission to Booking.com I thought this was a unprofessional and underhand way of doing business. Don't use the platforms if you don't like their terms.

A fabulous place. Tastefully done with character. Immaculately clean and well presented. The owner (Lynne) was very helpful, pleasant and communicative with all communications prior to the stay. Morning staff were super friendly and pleasant (Marianna was really friendly and nice to talk to) Great breakfast and loads to choose from. Easy parking outside. WIFI excellent downstairs, not so good in the room but OK. Plenty of choice nearby for food. Very handy central location.

Nothing! It was perfect.

Great stay, with a very nice room, comfortable bed, Netflix and superb breakfast choice (I took American one). That was my second stay in that property and I would definitely come back if I were in the area again.

Metal key to the room was a bit old fashioned; RFID (contactless) key card and lock with option to use my smartphone would be much more convenient.
