All staff great. All food plus the bar very good. Outside pool plus gardens excellent. Didn't use the indoor pool. Very large room with an excellent sea view that had very large windows that open. Makes a great change, when most hotels have windows that don't open. Large opening windows are a big plus for anyone that is claustrophobic. Hotel is in a great location with a very good local bus service.
Bathroom a bit dated but adequate. Would have liked to have available sandwiches etc, in the the evening, at the bar. Instead of only having a sit down meal in the main restaurant or bar restaurant. Outside appearance of the hotel building, especially the rear looks a bit sorry for it's self and needs a few repairs.

The Breakfast was excellent plenty of choice with a great view to start the day. The room was a great size some of the furniture looking a little tired but the room was very clean. The view from the room was excellent. The swimming pool and saunas was excellent came in handy for when it rained.
Parking was a little tight i did have somebody scratch my car but thats people that cannot drive. Sometimes when on holiday you dont always want to book meals as you are out for the day. I was not possible to get any food without booking which was the only negative.

Our two bedroom apartment was very spacious with a good size TV. Plenty of storage space. Beds were comfortable. The Sunday lunch was great, really enjoyed it. It’s quite popular so you need to book it ahead. Children spent a lot of time in outdoors and indoors pools, swam in the sea- 5 min walk, well used sauna and gym.
Our apartment windows were facing the front of the hotel and car park. I am a very light sleeper so I could hear cars leaving and arriving at night… our neighbours walking on a creaky floor, taking a shower etc.

The location of the room was excellent with a wonderful view across the grounds and panoramic sea view. The staff were superb and very helpful also the meals were lovely What didn't you like? Furnishings are very dated, more coffee sachets and sugar would have been helpful as we spend some time in the room due to my wife not being very mobile. Write a short sentence to sum up your stay. Our room, no, róóms (plural) were spacious beyond expectations... tations...tations...tations. We even had two bathrooms. Our topbartenders Lloyd and Titch combine old-fashioned professionality with friendliness. All staff members are hospitable. The facilities like swimming pools are free. Breakfast is superb. The enormous garden is beautiful. The building is charming (although it seems a bit weighed down by its years). Bottomline: this is the best place to stay in Exmouth. (And I visited a few.)
Open and close the taps slowly and you won't disturb the ghost living in the pipes.

We were given an upgrade to a 2 bedroom apartment with a view of the gardens and sea. Breakfast was good, plenty of selection for us both, one a vegetarian. The pool and jacuzzi were lovely and warm and we made use of the steam room and sauna. We would have swum in the outdoor pool but the weather was against this.
The beds weren't the most comfortable the decor could be described as retro 70's the pink bathroom could do with an upgrade. . We enjoyed the garden and loved being there, there's nothing else we didn't like and the above points are minimal, it's reflected in the price which was really good.

On arrival at the Devoncourt, the receptionist told me that my young daughter and I had actually been upgraded to a larger room with a sea view, which was wonderful. The beds were very comfy and it was a nice warm room as the weather was a bit chilly. The view was stunning (despite the bad Easter weather!!) Breakfast was delicious with great choice, you could have as much as you wanted. Staff were helpful and friendly. The pool and jacuzzi were lovely - perfect for when the weather wasn't great. Gardens were beautiful and would be fantastic to sit out in the summer.
We didn't eat in the bar / restaurant in the evening as it looked quite expensive and not a great deal of choice.

We had a wonderful time and where pleasantly surprised by how great the place was. The staff were exceptional - they all went out of their way to help and were always happy and approachable. The amenities impressed and are ideal for a great family time. The pools are outstanding. The location is great with a lovely easy walk to the beach and a short march into Exmouth. Breakfast was excellent. Having a small kitchenette was great and everything worked well. Highly recommended for older families.
The room was dated. But you should get over this.

I liked everything about the Devoncourt Resort! From the moment I e-mailed to ask for special consideration of my disability, the staff couldn't do enough to make my stay comfortable and trouble-free. Checking in was warm and welcoming yet efficient; assistance was offered for my luggage; questions were answered politely and so forth. It felt more like a homecoming to one's family than taking up lodgings with a business. The room was fabulous! Gorgeous views over the gardens and out to sea and windows that actually opened wide so plenty of air. Luxurious bathroom, too.

the rooms were large, comfy and spotlessly clean. the food was excellent and all the staff were friendly and helpful. There are two pools, one inside one outside, and a very well equipped gym with sauna and steam room. There is also a snooker room. Outside the grounds are lovely with a putting green, croquet lawn, a charming rose garden and even a goldfish pond tucked away. All in all a great place to stay.
The brasserie only opens at weekends which was a shame as the bar food served was great so would have been nice to be able to try the wider menu.
