I forgot about the breakfast after booking so was a lovely surprise to see the orange juice, muffin apple ect. The coffee kettle was also a great addition which we made use of before our early start, very pleased with the whole layout and cleanliness of the room. Very modern and updated. Would definitely recommend staying here again. Comfortable calm space for a a night away.

Morning traffic through Knaresborough held us up on route to our destination. Will definitely set off sooner next time.

Beautiful, quiet location in a quaint village surrounded by lovely countryside. Lovely, circular walk following a public footpath along a track and then through fields. The room was lovely, with hot and cold drinks provided. A spacious bathroom with large shower, soft towels and toiletries provided. Although the room was compact it was comfortable and had everything carefully thought out to make best use of the space for a short stay.

While we were there it was hot weather and the room would have benefitted from something as simple as a fan. The breakfast was provided in the room and was adequate but limited. Unfortunately, the pub itself is closed on Monday & Tuesday which we didn't see until after we had booked. This was disappointing as it looked lovely and we would have liked to eat an evening meal and a few drinks without having to drive to another location.

Breakfast was as mentioned on the web site and all fresh. Room was above expectation very comfortable and clean. Bed was exceptionally comfortable and linen was pristine. Bathroom large with good shower.

Although there was coffee and tea provided it would be better to have a small Nespresso machine as not everyone enjoys instant coffee

The breakfast was OK but would have preferred a cooked breakfast. I went into Ripon to get breakfast for my parents and I as we needed more due to going to a wedding at lunch time. The room was very clean and had lovely shower. The host was very accommodating and nothing was too much trouble

The stairs were hard for my mum to get up and down . But we knew there were stairs before we booked

The property stands in a lovely village setting, the rooms were very comfy and well equipped, free car park to rear, the food was excellent (Great choice and well cooked) and the hosts were very welcoming. All in all a very very god stay and good value for money.

Only a minor quibble but a cooked Yorkshire breakfast would have been the icing on a very nice cake but that does not detract from a great stay.

We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived at this pretty little village. The staff at the masons Arms were very friendly and welcoming. They showed us to our room, which was clean, modern and had everything you could wish for. Tea, coffee, buiscuts etc. A spacious en suite, toiletries, hairdryer etc. We then went downstairs to the bar, booked our evening meal, had a drink followed by a pleasant walk around the village. Later that evening we were treated to some really good food (compliments to the chef) and drink (which was also reasonably priced). The bed was so comfortable and I had the best night's sleep I've had in a long time. Thank you for a very enjoyable stay, and for making us feel so welcome.

Nice convenient location, ideal base for touring. Clean, quiet and warm room, lovely shower. Nice food and drink in the downstairs bar, very friendly and welcoming staff. Cooked breakfast is not provided, but sufficient items are provided each day in the room enabling us to have a quick snack. Great location in a pretty village. The pub bar (& food) is currently closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. Not a problem as we found adequate places nearby, adding variety to our visit. Well recommended.

Stayed one night. Really friendly staff, lovely pub, good meal, comfortable room, peaceful location, large car park. Modern, comfortable en-suite room with spacious shower that worked very well. Whoever designed the room actually put some thought into it. Unlike lots of very expensive hotels, we even had coat hangers in the bedroom and hooks in the bathroom! Spotlessly clean (apart from the bathroom extractor vent).

Off the beaten track to a rural village location. We arrived too late for dinner, my fault. the room far exceeded my expectations, new, fresh with some lovely quality touches.

Stairs, I'm old. Parking is at the back and very dark. long narrow winding lane but when you get there, great

Liked the privacy and quietness in the bedrooms even though we were over the pub. The room was well laid out and en-suite excellent. Room nice and warm and bed very comfy.

There was no chair in the room. No proper breakfast but we knew that when booking. No fridge for own fresh milk.
