Grantley Hall

The staff were exceptional. I have an EV and there were quite a number of guests with EVs but they moved the cars onto charge sometimes in the middle of the night to ensure all cars were charged in the morning. the Three Graces Spa is beautiful and the therapists exceptional. The choice of quality restaurants on site means you can sample different kinds of cuisine each evening.

The room lighting is controlled by central switching and occasionally you would like to be able to control one light independently (very minor). I had a deluxe room that was at the top of the building - although beautifully furnished and equipped had I known it had a sloping ceiling because of the roof, I would have chosen something else as I am tall.

The moment we arrived even before stepping out of the car we were greeted warmly and had the car parked for us and bags taken. The hotel is magnificent. It’s super glitzy but there is no air of snowiness about the staff who are all extremely efficient and polite and one feels at ease in the place. We managed to try two of the restaurants 88 and fletchers and both were superb. It was my birthday weekend and I am trying to figure out when I can next make a trip here - it is truly amazing

This hotel Is faultless. It would have been better if I had stayed longer or if this place was closer to home so That I could go there much more often if only for dinner

The grounds, the hotel, the spa, the restaurants... All absolutely superb. The sunny, frosty winter mornings made it even more stunning. Genuinely one of the best hotels and we now have the best of memories. Can't wait to go back in the summer!

I think the staff weren't quite as sharp as our previous visit. I was a little disappointed that they didn't have a record of us on the system given that we got engaged there about 8 months prior, as the staff at that time were absolutely exceptional. The other annoyance was that at payment neither of my mastercard credit cards would work. Having spoken to both banks afterwards this was identified as a problem with Grantley Hall, so not sure why that happened after repeated attempts.

This hotel is the most exquisite stay I’ve ever experienced, you don’t know tremendous service until you stay here. You are treated and greeted with the upmost respect as soon as you drive into the grounds. The rooms are remarkable, you get a sense of history with a touch of modern technology which is fantastic. Every member of staff you pass or meet is polite and thankful for your time. We loved the design and cleanliness of the hotel and how well kept every inch of the grounds was. The spa and scenery of the outside pool was breathtaking even on a rainy day. The food we were served was well presented and extremely delicious! I could go on about all the other beautiful qualities this hotel offers but I’m certain I have already persuaded you to pick this hotel for your stay. It would be a pleasure if everyone could experience this in their lifetime! Go and see for yourself! Thank you Grantley Hall for an unforgettable stay, I’m positive we will return.

The only thing we didn’t like, is that we couldn’t stay for longer!

This is a simply outstanding hotel. It's been subject to an extraordinary restoration, with every detail to the highest quality. A stay here is indulgent and luxurious, with every care taken away. Despite the stunning quality of the rooms, public areas, facilities and beautiful grounds, the real differentiator is the quality and care of the staff. Prepare to spend a not insubstantial amount - but you'll love every minute!

For a hotel with genuine and legitimate 5* credentials, just the odd detail should be improved, mainly in the restaurants - service was a little slow in EightyEight and very minor aspects of breakfast service could be improved. But these are all details around the edges of a first class experience.

Amazing property, one of the best places I've ever stayed. The design, architecture is exceptional.

The food ( not the Michelin star restaurant) is very pricey for what it is. I didn't like the hidden extras. The sauce to go with your steak , extra , bread extra. They shouldn't need to do that with the amount charged for the courses.

The room was something else! It was done to a super high standard but also felt really comfortable and homely. The staff were amazing and did everything they could to make us feel special.

We didn’t like the food from Eightyeight. Maybe as we’ve had a lot of Asian food in our life that this just seems quite bland and we didn’t eat a lot of it. The vibe, decor, drinks, staff were amazing though.

the whole experience was extremely relaxing and 5 star

there were no firm pillows. we are used to sleeping on memory foam pillows and none were available. also we were accidentally charged £140 for a bottle of wine (someone had signed it off on our account).

Food unreal 10/10 atmosphere was lovely nice just nice to switch off from the rat race of work . staff couldn’t do more than enough car parked for me luggage taken care of Pull up a chair and make it a large one The room spa all unreal 10/10 Seriously recommend

Not inclusive which was disappointing considering the cost. We were not prepared to pay the additional breakfast charge which spoilt the experience.

Fletchers restaurant no one at lectern and on entering we were embarrassed to be ushered back to the lectern to await the return of that staff member. The room and table Lightning was inadequate and service was confused. The cheese board was amateurish and disappointing and required an explanation.
